Horrific. I can't understand how one person can shoot 5 presumably armed officers. That's why non-cooperative suspects have to be treated as an imminent threat.

The story at DM says the Mexican consulate is monitoring the situation. I'm guessing that means, surprise!, and illegal was involved.

They say the perpetrator is dead' so why would they not release his or her identity? That just leads to conspiracy theories? You have to wonder why an organ of the Mexican Government has commented in on this incident that took place in Pennsylvania?

"allegedly serving a warrant" What the hell...I'm sure they were serving a warrant. So tired of the overuse of "allegedly"

About a year ago we had a shooting in my small community over a drug deal gone bad. Five shot dead...five! Nothing in the national news only local news and newspaper covered it. All Hispanics and I don't know if they were illegals but it apparently it didn't fit the mainstream media's narrative of peaceful fruit pickers we need more of (and Democrat voters).

covering the whole thing up, withholding information, making details inaccessible. I have had enough of this garbage. Why the coverup?

Why the coverup?
It doesn't fit the narrative. But the governor was there posthaste as if he was important.
York County has a big Hispanic community. Perhaps the warrant was not in Spanish. I live about an hour up the road.

#5, I'm petitioning the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office for a Trademark/Copyright on the word, "allegedly," in order for me to receive $5 every time someone mentions the word, publicly.
I'm sure that in time I will attain a Net Worth rivaling only Elon Musk! :)

The shooter was *allegedly* lying in wait to ambush the cops, so, somebody must have tipped him off they were coming.

"The warrants were in response to a Domestic incident on tuesday"... pulled up google maps, sat view and street view of the property...it appears to be a no longer operating dairy farm, no livestock, tractors and combine surrounded by overgrown weeds and brush, fences all down, but kids toys and cars parked up near the house. Nearest neighboring homes 1/2 mile or more away. The Barn sits right by the road, the shooting happened in the barn....also, may or may not be related, in the streetveiw there is a blonde woman jogging in the rural road nearby, with two dogs on leashes.

Neighbor next door was driving by as it happened, saw and heard it all, says 30 shots fired. Also said..."It was a nice family, good people, have known them for a long time, She, the mother was raising several kids, the father passed away a few years ago". In that video there was a herd of goats visible on the property, and that pasture had new fences.

Definitely a tragedy but I hope "officials" have a good explanation of how and why they lost five police officers. Shapiro was his usual uninspiring self.

Start sending SWAT Teams to serve warrants to these type of circumstances.

help! what a dearth of information. why? may God bless all the officers.
are all the nation's alleged nightmare crimes allegedly doomed to become merely an alleged platform for alleged
governors to get face time on tv ---allegedly without providing any information.
years ago, we had friends in lovely, more rural, agriculturally-zoned areas, reporting on baddies
moving in taking over the adjacent properties-- and overtly trafficking in drugs.
the neighbours had no recourse,
and were unable to obtain licences or firearms.
so, i asked a city cop -he shrugged... foreign govt and cartel support.
an alleged early example of the bass shoe company in maine...? possibly?
