There's bias in the media, and then there's next-level, full-throated love of the most extreme parts of the leftist movement, as exhibited by ABC News reporter Matt Gutman.
Gutman, as many are aware, went on an unhinged romanticization of text messages revealed by Charlie Kirk's assassin to his love interest, where he seemingly admitted to and attempted to justify his actions.
The reporter thoroughly embarrassed himself with the gushing sentiments. He felt the need to highlight the "duality" of a deranged killer and how he spoke "so lovingly" to his partner.
"It was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn’t expect," Gutman said.

I feel so much better. What exactly does Sen Kennedy do besides make witty statements?

Well, suspending Gutman is a good start. I'd say suspending him by a noose around the neck from a gallows, but hanging is too good for him.
He should at least be fired, and black balled so he can never work in media again. Maybe he can share a cell with Tyler for as long as Tyer lives. Then he can dig his grave.

The Left is trying to justify and normalize violence. The summer of 2020 was ablaze with Leftist violence and it was described as "mostly peaceful", like if 51 of 100 people in a riot were not burning cars or assaulting people it would be OK. We have people killed and people almost killed and some severely injured and the Left is desperately trying to avoid responsibility and connection to their ugly and violent rhetoric.
People like Gutman, media, politicians, influential Leftist leaders, and their financial supporters, need to be swarmed with exposure and protest and, if possible, firings and legal assaults. We should give them no safe ground from which to continue their vileness. We should be playing whack-a-mole. Every time they stick their heads out they should be swarmed again.

Is Gutman gay? If so, it would explain a lot.

Politicians are full of blather and make accurate observations from time to time when spewing their blather. What needs to happen now is for ALL of these blather-filled politicians to repeat over and over again on the air, in columns, everywhere, the media IS DEFINITELY to blame in these murders and attempted murders. I would also mention the halfwit Democrat Party but they are the Enemedia already.
The only other group who is as culpable as the Democrat Enemedia is teachers since they hold sway over a large number of children and teens nationwide. Businessmen, doctors, and other people who are just as unempathetic and obtuse to this assassination are dangerous too, but don't have quite the bullhorn the others mentioned above do, even with the proliferation of social media. The biggest question is "What can be done about the main malfeasants"?

[Matt Gutman] "felt the need to highlight the "duality" of a deranged killer and how he spoke "so lovingly" to his partner."
Awww. Matt Gutman is touched. I suggest he also read Bonnie Parker's poetry and remember that Hitler loved Blondi.
And "touched" has two meanings.

Re #1, in this case mockery was a fitting punishment. During the "Biden Administration" when too many of his Republican colleagues were missing in action his mockery prevented several truly awful nominees from being confirmed.

Matt Gutman jammed his foot in his mouth before. We talked about it here. I just don't recall the circumstance.
Look what I just found:

I am wondering if Matt has just come out of the closet. He just needed the right touching moment. Like an assassination.

Senator Kennedy is one of the few we can trust. And he is not afraid to speak out.

FTA:
Gutman, meanwhile, has been suspended from ABC twice in the past, once for violating pandemic policies and another time for incorrectly reporting that all four of Kobe Bryant's children died in a helicopter crash in 2020.
A third time seems necessary for being a drooling, driveling moron trying to humanize a cold-blooded killer.

I can imagine some of John Hinckley's letters to Jodie Foster were fairly sweet too then, huh?
