Disney’s ABC said it would take Jimmy Kimmel‘s popular late-night show off its schedule “indefinitely” after one of the biggest owners of TV stations in the U.S., Nexstar Media, said it would pre-empt airings of the program following remarks the host made about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Nexstar said Wednesday that its “owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for the foreseeable future, beginning with tonight’s show.” The company said it “strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”

Are the networks finally coming to their senses? Having 'entertainment' that applauds cold blooded murder is not so funny. I believe Gutfeld actually predicted Kimmel's downfall over the reprehensible comments.

Oooooh, this is big stuff. It's one thing for generic corporations to figure it out. But to see a media company cancel a well known loud mouth leftist like Kimmel? That's big and it's a warning to the rest of them like the morons on the View and do many other places that they have to stop lying if they want to stay on the air.

‘Jimmy Kimmel NOT SO Live!’ It's really refreshing to see these loud mouths get instant karma. The worst thing for Kimmel is that the Left finds you worthwhile and useful only when you are successful. Kimmel got chopped so he's a failure and will be dumped by the Left. The Left will fuss a bit, to no success, and then they will look for another standard bearer.

Kimmel's ratings were tanking and ad prices are based on viewer numbers. His stupid and false comments just gave ABC good cover to can him. I don't know what he makes (made) but it was probably several million and became another way to cut costs. He'll claim Trump got him fired or something stupid like that but that's just BS and he probably knows it himself. I don't doubt that he has plenty of money but he's lost his pride and his megaphone. That's got to hurt,

He did this to himself. He arrogantly thought he could write off anyone who wasn’t a fellow liberal and still have a huge audience. He was wrong. He had been conditioned to think he could lie about anyone, slander anyone, and insult anyone without consequence. He was wrong about that too. It’s a new day.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) claimed that just because people commit crimes, it “doesn’t make them a criminal,” adding that it depends on the person’s “mindset.” During an interview with “genderqueer” Netflix star Jonathan Van Ness, Crockett was asked about having worked as a public defender, and what she wished that “people knew.” Crockett responded by explaining that when you are “assigned to only deal with indigent people” you end up learning “a lot about yourself.” “It’s just understanding what ends up having people become criminally impacted really informs so much of what I do legislatively, right?”

The Democrats have been losing support from voters for well over a decade. It’s to the point now where they’re getting desperate. The Hill mentioned this in an article from August 22: A devastating New York Times report Wednesday showed that of the 30 states that maintain voter registration records by political party, Democrats fell behind Republicans in all of them between the 2020 and 2024 elections. In total, Republicans added up to 4.5 million voters compared to Democrats, creating a huge hole that could set Democrats back for years. “I think it should be an alarm” for the party, Democratic strategist Eddie Vale. “I think it’s a real problem.”

Chris Cuomo just dropped a dose of inconvenient truth about Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension, and it’s not what the left wants to hear. Instead of feeding the narrative that this was some grand assault on free speech, Cuomo cut through the noise—and his blunt take won’t sit well with leftists desperate to turn Kimmel into a martyr. Cuomo began by stripping the drama down to the essentials: “You can like or not like Disney’s decision on Kimmel.” He then explained the obvious point the media refuses to entertain: absent evidence of state interference, this is a brand protecting itself. “But until I see proof of actual government coercion of their decision,
