Americans rightfully have significant expectations when it comes to privacy. We have constitutional protections against government overreach but we're more exposed to Big Tech companies like Google. Texas’ $1.375 billion settlement against Google for harvesting location, biometric, and search data without consent has achieved a victory for Texans and further exposed Google’s surveillance empire, but Americans at large are still at risk. Conservatives must demand better data privacy reforms from state and federal governments to stop Google as it continues to undermine data privacy through ad tech tracking, AI data grabs, and lobbying efforts against privacy laws.

GOOGLE is insidious . It controls my phone totally, is plastered all over my computer, and is FAR too powerful. Virtually every time I go to a website, GOOGLE displays a sign in message, NOT the website. I don't hold it against the Corporation, because it is our Government that is allowing their power grab to occur. GOOGLE is a great corporation, but monopolies should be restrained . It is not a good situation.

The days when we could expect any privacy are over. We allowed it by becoming addicted to cell phones and computers, and incorporating them into our daily lives. When I first started my scanner hobby in the 80's I thought it was foolish that people would bug their own houses with baby monitors. They worked on 49.86 MHz if I remember right. I used to hear every conversation in the whole house and even got to hear some intimate moments. Now, weve multiplied that by hundreds and added video too.
We had a few days last month when the internet was out. It was heaven. I got a lot more work done, talked to the neighbors and to the wife, and life was just so much less stressful. Then it came back up and here I am, hunched over my laptop while the world goes by without me.

Your privacy is your responsibility. I've never used Google and never will. I use "Startpage" as my browser. We still have a land-line phone at the homestead. TK and I both have TracPhones that we only turn on when making a call; usually home to let the other know we're on the highway. TK has security programs on our computers and keeps them updated.
You can live in the modern world if you don't adopt every "new thing" that comes down the pike. Cell phones are the Brave New World's leashes. Throw away your cell phones and live like a human again!

Your smart phone is a self-bugging device, and yet, essentially no one complains.

One word, Barack Obama (As Joe Biden would say). Google execs were give the full green light by the Obummer White House so now they think all of the data on the Internet is theirs. Disable Google on your browser and most of it will disappear, unfortunately not all. Also, don't use Gmail. Their tentacles are everywhere.

You think Google is bad (And yeah, I do too).... But just wait until Palantir is fully operational. Thht will make Google look like a relatively benevolent Gladys Kravitz.

Microsoft is now just as ridiculous. Anyone using Windows 11 outside of a large corporate IT environment (where paid staff are allowed to enforce corporate security and privacy policies) should know by now that every keystroke you type is harvested, and Copilot captures 20 screen shots a minute and sends them to Redmond. Down the road a few years, I foresee a possibility that this huge data cache will be compromised by hackers and exploited, and Microsoft may be sued penniless. If you use Windows 11 at home or in a small business, caveat emptor!

Some more than others, have willingly traded privacy for convenience.
All of these tools will be used to track down believers during the seven year tribulation.
