British voters still are asleep

Here's the current breakdown if a British election were held today: Reform:30% Labor: 21% Conservative: 17% Liberal Democrats: 13% Greens: 9% In other words the parties that have brought Britain to the brink of civil war by supporting mass immigration still command 60% of the vote. Not a picture that suggests massive support for dramatic change. I know, the "first past the post" system would give Reform, at 30%, a large Parliamentary majority, but that doesn't mean the country would be remotely close to unified behind a Reform government.

A few short years ago there was no such thing as the Reform party. A few more Islamic murders, rapes, and people being imprisoned and fined for speaking out will bring them more voters.

Yeah, but you have to remember that the Brits are only a few generations removed from being serfs. They were more or less enslaved for a thousand years or more. They aren't used to thinking for themselves. How many thousands immigrated to the United States and then two world wars killed off a couple of million males? So, for the ones that are left, it's in their genes to bend the knee and tug the forelock.

A few generations the Brits owned the largest empire the world has known. In fact they civilized the world by ending slavery and enforcing their laws (which we wisely adopted) in all of their colonies. They can restore some of that glory but it's going to take actions that politicians don't have the stomach for. A few centuries back they beheaded King Charles for treason. These times may call for a repetition of that. Just sayin'

They're in the streets now, hanging St George flags all over Great Britain. Millions of them. They are fighting their own govt that's been coddling the barbarians. In France, Poland and Austria it's also going on. They're fed up with the animals that have been brought into their countries.

Don't mean to denigrate the author or Mr. Peterson, but I have a couple of questions: 1.) Who conducted the poll? An independent polling unit that most Brits recognize as such (assuming any exist there) or some government affiliated entity acting as the government's agent?.... and 2.) Assuming the poll was conducted by some government affiliated entity like the BBC, why should anyone expect the British public to give honest answers when they already know they can't trust the agent receiving the data? The author and Mr. Peterson conclude that most Brits are still asleep. They might be, but I'm betting that they're nullifying pollsters they know can't trust. We do this in America all the time, where most of who lean right refuse to be "exit polled" on election days and we wind up with news outlets filing dumb reports, e.g. as they did in 2004 when John Effing Kerry thought he was going to be the next president at 5 PM on election day.

The “Five Eyes” intelligence sharing arrangement has put the United States’ hundred billion dollar+ intelligence budget at the service of the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, vastly benefitting the intelligence agencies of Anglosphere allies. But, to the shock of many, the Trump administration is cutting them out of key areas of interest. (snip) There is no love lost between President Trump and the collective Deep State of the Anglosphere. In concert with Deep State operatives embedded in the US intel community, spooks from half of the other four members collaborated in trying to bring down President Trump’s first campaign and then successfully hobble his first term in office.

I confess to a tiny drop of pity for Trump-haters within the tidal wave of amusement I experience watching them deal with the successes President Trump already has experienced. The worst of it for TDS sufferers right now must be the border, where within mere weeks, and to the enthusiastic approval of the American people, President Trump has stanched the flow of millions of unvetted foreigners down to an almost undetectable trickle. Consider the dilemma this creates for the Ministry of Progressive Propaganda, also known as the New York Times.

Republicans, accustomed to being blamed by the media for federal government shutdowns, should not worry about Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s plan to oppose cloture on the “clean” funding bill Speaker Johnson’s House just passed. There are multiple good reasons why they can relax on this one: Trump knows how to fight (snip) He knows how to use branding and understands the power of alliteration to embed expressions in the human mind (e.g., “big, beautiful bill”). The “Schumer Showdown” will be the name. (snip) Trump will not engage in the stupid game of putting up barriers to prevent the public from entering national parks.

I almost cheered out loud when I read that the Trump administration has cancelled $400 million in funding for Columbia University, despite the fact that when I taught there about three-and-a half-decades ago, I no doubt directly benefitted from federal money flowing in, enjoyed my colleagues, and was treated very well. My animus and support for the cuts derives from the reluctant conclusion that as an institution, it has been corrupted, and nothing less than traumatic levels of change are required.

I doubt that anyone forgets the moment when a doctor tells them that they are never going to recover from the illness that brought them in and led to all those diagnostic tests. It’s terminal and it’s only a matter of time before you die. Add in the words “There’s no known cure, and we don’t even know what causes it” and the verdict seems absolute: you’re without hope. Yet my experience over the five and a half years since these words were spoken to me has not felt tragic; to the contrary, I have discovered a surprising upside to the de facto death sentence.

Florida’s immigration jail known as “Alligator Alcatraz” will probably be empty of detainees within days, a state official has said, indicating compliance with a judge’s order last week that the facility must close. The black community’s disengagement from ordinary acts of civic responsibility is harming America as a whole, but mostly, it’s harming blacks.
