A New Jersey woman, who was given only months to live after receiving a fatal brain cancer diagnosis, experienced a miracle when she was offered the chance to try a new cell therapy. Two years later, 65-year-old Pamela Goldberger is alive, healthy, and thriving after making the decision, following surgery, to take part in a clinical trial using dendritic cell therapy, Fox News reported. In 2023, Goldberger was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a cancer that has a survival rate of 14 to 16 months, even with surgery. (Snip) After the MRI showed she had brain cancer, she was admitted to the hospital and scheduled for surgery,

Comments:

I lost my beloved sister and best friend to GBM in 2021, 10 months after her diagnosis. I wish to God this trial had been an option for her back then. However, I'm happy that others have it now.

Hearts to OP. The article didn’t say. I wondered if this might be part of PDJT’s “Right to Try” initiative. But the trial seems past that, and more sanctioned/ formal. Nevertheless, blessings on the woman. If I hear the word “cancer” again, it will be too soon.

Great news. Decades ago, a friend since college who became a college professor in cellular biology, told me that the waybwe would eventually defeat cancers was to assist the immune system in identifying the cancer cells. This is precisely what these doctors are doing. A close family member has been the beneficiary of this technology, too, totally erasing a different kkind of cancer. Amazing advances in fighting cancer have been made.

As others have mentioned those they knew dying too soon after that horrible brain disease. My golf buddy's wife 3 years ago of glioblastoma. Another close friend is also battling breast cancer as is my SIL.. My daughter thankfully survived her bout with it. My son's MIL just died of pancreatic cancer and my first cousin of a brain tumor several years go. Cancer is a ubiquitous and lethal stalker and whatever cures it should be treated as the highest medical goal in the country.

My mom died from glioblastoma. She did radiation and then did the radioactive seed plant. After that, she had the first round of aggressive chemotherapy but went into a toxic reaction where the only thing they could do was put her in a coma. She did come out of it but slowly. She could not have the aggressive form of chemotherapy anymore. A few months later they were going to try a milder chemotherapy but her lungs were not at a level where she could have it. This was 1990-1991 and she battled it about 12-13 months. I miss her every day. . .

There are unconfirmed reports that one person has died, and five people were transported to the hospital by Allegheny County Emergency Services. The number injured may be in the dozens. “No one is above the law” was the favorite refrain of Democrats as they pursued Donald Trump up hill and down dale in an effort to destroy his first presidency and ensure he could never serve again. They threw everything at him, manufacturing intelligence to frame him as a Russian stooge, weaponizing the FBI and DOJ against him, impeaching him, siccing the most unscrupulous prosecutors on him, contriving spurious civil cases against him and his family, trying to jail him and bankrupt him, all the while lying and assassinating his character. If that didn’t bring him down, two assassination attempts would have finished off a lesser mortal.

A pair of Texas friends died less than three months apart after ingesting pills laced with a dangerous new synthetic opioid, and now their mothers are begging US officials to sound the alarm on the little-known drug that’s up to 43 times more lethal than fentanyl. The young men both died this year after swallowing different pills secretly tainted with the deadly, often Narcan-resistant opioids known as nitazenes, which have begun seeping into the US at an alarming rate. Lucci Reyes-McCallister, 22, died January 26 near Houston, Texas, after taking a pill labeled as Xanax that was actually laced with N-pyrrolidino protonitazene, an emerging form of nitazene.

Former Bravo star Jennifer Welch wildly called for President Trump supporters to be banned from all Mexican, Chinese and Indian restaurants in the US — saying they should get their “fat asses over to Cracker Barrel” instead. In a profanity-laden meltdown on her “I’ve Had It” podcast, the mom-of-two unleashed on white voters who agree with Trump’s border policies but still want to frequent restaurants run by immigrants. “I’ve had it with white people that triple Trumped that have the nerve and the audacity to walk into a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, go to a gay hairdresser,” Welch raged.

Los Angeles is being urged to abandon plans to host the 2028 Olympics lest the Democrat-run city give President Donald Trump something to “bolster his noxious legacy.” Los Angeles Times columnist Gustavo Arellano whined about Trump’s policies, his accomplishments in office, and his agenda in a new column as plans take shape for the 2028 Summer Olympics to be held in the California city. “It’s a shame that LA Times ‘columnists’ are so filled with Trump Derangement Syndrome that they would turn away such a unifying event as the Olympics, which are expected to generate $18 billion in economic activity,”

Leftist protesters formed a “human chain” to lament deported illegal aliens and social media can’t stop talking about it. Not because the 8-mile chain, which took place in Columbus, Ohio, was an effective message that changed the hearts and minds of pro-immigration law enforcement proponents, but because the people who made up the protest all had a lot in common. Watch: [Tweet, video] For a party that complains about how old and white Republicans are, this protest looked an awful lot like a retirement home ad. Local newspaper The Ohio Dispatch reported that “thousands” attended the “Hands Along High Street” protest to stand against President Donald Trump’s administration and its policies.

Thomas Kolbe has written about the collapse of the German economy, something pretty shocking to those of us who remember when the German economy seemed unstoppable. What’s slammed the brakes on that juggernaut is central planning that revolves around the whole Green New Deal theory. Other European countries are doing the same. Spain and Portugal had a catastrophic power outage thanks to their green energy policies, and, in England, people are getting cold and dirty in a very 19th-century way because of the UK’s drive for “Net Zero.” Had Kamala been elected last year, America would almost certainly have gone down that path, too.
