Alas, the day is here: the annex to the Durham report, the investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax that former Attorney General William Barr initiated, has been declassified and released. It was discovered in the FBI burn bags by Director Kash Patel. It wasn’t just this file—thousands of documents related to the Russian interference investigation that the Obama DOJ, or lack thereof, conducted. The annex is clear about a few things, some of which you’ve already read about from Katie.
First, we have George Soros ties, with emails from Open Society Foundations Regional Director Leonard Bernardo that were authentic,

In recent weeks, a scandal of epic proportions has come to light, confirming that the Obama administration rigged intelligence to concoct the Russia collusion narrative against Donald Trump, and the conspiracy went all the way to the top: Barack Obama himself.
This is no longer hearsay, thanks to two explosive document releases from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. (Snip) But speaking the truth in a rigged game is a recipe for punishment. When the analyst tried to report his concerns, he was promptly silenced by Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), then the Democratic chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee,

A radioactive wasp nest has been discovered near a former nuclear weapon manufacturing facility in South Carolina.
The nest was found by workers at the Savannah River Site in Aiken County, according to a report from the Department of Energy.
According to reports, the contaminated nest was found on July 3, just before 2 p.m., by Radiological Control Operations workers during routine inspections.
Located on a stanchion near a tank in the F-Area tank farm, the nest registered a staggering 100,000 disintegrations per minute (dpm), a level described as “moderately high” radiation.
Workers promptly sprayed the nest to eliminate the wasps, which were then bagged and disposed of as radiological waste.

Border czar Tom Homan took a wrecking ball to Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and a ragtag group of misfit Democrats after they staged a sad attempt at a sit-in outside an ICE facility in Baltimore.
Van Hollen, along with Sen. Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) and Democratic Maryland Reps. Kweisi Mfume, Glenn Ivey, Johnny Olszewski, and Sarah Elfreth attempted to take a tour of the George H. Fallon federal building earlier this week, only to be denied entry.
It's been a standard part of the resistance playbook for months now. Fabricate allegations of abuse, say you're investigating such allegations, note that you have a duty and right to inspect ICE facilities,

The House is in recess now, but that hasn't stopped silly Democrats like Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) from lame attacks on Republicans and President Donald Trump. It's all they know how to do since, as former Democratic operative Dan Turrentine noted, they don't have any agenda.
He posted videos doing things like swimming in a pool or lifting weights saying that he should be working and lowering costs for people. (Snip) Swalwell was roundly mocked on X. Fox's Greg Gutfeld had a little fun with him, as our sister site Twitchy reported. Gutfeld said Swalwell's videos gave "the ick."
That mocking upset Swalwell, who then decided to embarrass himself more.

Man, Chuck Schumer is one gloomy guy. I honestly don’t know how the Senate minority leader (D-NY) gets out of bed in the morning when his world seems to be permanently shrouded in darkness. One can’t help but think of Eeyore, the pessimistic, monotone donkey from the children's classic, "Winnie-the-Pooh."
Faced with good news, the New Yorker is able to instantly turn it into something sinister, with things lurking in the shadows. That’s exactly what he did Wednesday when speaking about the new GDP numbers, which, as our Nick Arama reported, “shattered expectations.”
But that didn’t bring a smile to Chuck’s face:

Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) has released graphic photos of the victim of a violent attack in Cincinnati after a local city councilwoman claimed she "begged for that beatdown." In a social media post, Moreno went on to point out that the local prosecutor let the assailants out on just $400 bond. He also hit Rep. Greg Landsman, a House Democrat who represents the area, for "posting about Ukraine" while remaining silent on the incident.
The victim, who is being referred to only by her first name at this time, was downtown during the annual Jazz Festival to attend a birthday party.

The inability to get Trump, for lack of a better term, reared its head again, as the legacy media and the panicans were left shattered and bloody over the latest economic report. They were lusting for a recession. They were hoping the tariffs would increase prices—neither of those things happened. Instead, what we got was a robust report of three percent economic growth in the second quarter. The experts were wrong again. (Snip) The New York Times should take a bow for the most Soviet-style headline about the news: “U.S. Economy Slowed in First Half of 2025 as Tariffs Scrambled Data.”

So, who’s going to jail? Who’s being questioned? FBI Director Kash Patel revealed today that mountains of Russian collusion documents were found in burn bags. Thousands of documents were discovered, including the annex to the Durham report, which was an investigation initiated by former Attorney General William Barr regarding the origins of the Russian collusion hoax.
That document alone is the subject of a declassification process between the CIA and the FBI. And there’s a reason why whoever set this burn bag protocol in motion would want these files destroyed: Sources told Fox News that the material involved had evidence from foreign intelligence sources

Nothing brings out political hypocrisy more than a good old-fashioned gerrymander brawl. Both sides do it. Both sides pretend that it's absolutely the worst thing in the history of the world — until they want to do the same thing. Now, there's a Texas-sized hullabaloo brewing in the Lone Star State that promises to not only be gigantically impactful politically, but entertaining as hell.
Last month, Donald Trump suggested that it would be really nice if Texas redrew its congressional districts to give the Republicans in Washington a better shot at holding the House of Representatives in the 2026 midterm elections. Texas Governor Greg Abbott politely obliged

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers arrested an illegal immigrant working as a police officer in Maine after he allegedly tried to unlawfully purchase a firearm, officials announced on Monday.
Officers arrested Jamaican alien Jon Luke Evans with the assistance of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) after his firearm purchase attempt in Biddeford on July 25 “raised concerns tied to his immigration status,” according to an agency press release.
Evans was employed as a reserve police officer with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department at the time of his arrest, according to the agency. [Tweet]
