On Thursday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said that the government grocery store plan from New York City mayoral candidate Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (D) is “a new and fresh plan for New York City. But it’s been tried in other cities around the country and has had some real successes.”
Warren stated that Mamdani “said, we’ve got a problem with entire food deserts where people can’t get access to grocery stores. He said, I’d like to take a look at whether or not we can have some kind of — like we do on military bases — you have some kind of support from the city government

Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said the public "deserves to know" whether CBS’s decision to cancel "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Thursday was politically motivated. "Just finished taping with Stephen Colbert who announced his show was cancelled. If Paramount and CBS ended the Late Show for political reasons, the public deserves to know. And deserves better," Schiff wrote. (Snip) Warren added, "CBS canceled Colbert’s show just Three Days after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump – a deal that looks like bribery. America deserves to know if

Alan Dershowitz, a renowned constitutional lawyer and former counsel for Jeffrey Epstein, who has been a thorn in the side of the party he votes for when it comes to all things Trump, is spilling his guts about Epstein. So let's dig through the entrails and see what he is talking about. Dershowitz claims that there is no list, which makes sense. My mother used to play the daily numbers with a bookie while working in a factory back in the 1980s. She once asked the bookie why he doesn't write down the numbers. He told her a written list could send him to jail,

The fake hit pieces by the Murdoch Family tabloids never seem to stop.
As Cristina Laila reported earlier, The Wall Street Journal published a hit piece on President Trump on Thursday night involving Jeffrey Epstein.
President Trump responded to the disgusting hit piece moments ago on Truth Social.
President Trump: The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued. Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it but, obviously, did not have the power to do so.

With a new president in charge and the Department of Justice not looking to give Democrats anymore passes, Sen. Adam Schiff's chickens may finally be coming home to roost.
As RedState reported back in 2023, the senator claimed a Maryland home as his "primary residence" on a federally-insured loan document. By doing so, he secured a lower mortgage rate. The problem? He's a politician from Burbank, CA, who would not have been eligible to hold the elected offices he held from 2003-2025 if his primary residence were in another state. So one way or the other, it looks like Schiff lied.

Fox News Digital has uncovered damning evidence that the Obama administration deliberately “manufactured and politicized intelligence” to push the now-debunked Russia election interference narrative, despite contradictory assessments from within the intelligence community itself.According to newly declassified documents that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released Friday, there’s “overwhelming evidence” that Barack Obama and his national security inner circle went to work immediately after Donald Trump’s stunning 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton. Their goal? Lay the foundation for the Trump-Russia hoax that would consume the nation for years. This wasn’t a matter of bad judgment; it was a calculated operation to delegitimize Trump’s presidency before it even began.

Replacing high-fructose corn syrup with cane sugar could come at a cost, according to industry experts. (Snip) Bulk high-fructose corn syrup cost about $0.35 per pound for 2025, only rising from $0.27 in 2015, and remaining fairly close to this price in the past few years, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). In comparison, the price of refined white sugar is $1.01, which is up substantially from $0.61 in 2015. (Snip) Meanwhile, the Corn Refiners Association (CRA), argued that there would be severe economic implications if the industry eliminated high-fructose corn syrup,

President Donald Trump says that if the violent Immigration and Customs Enforcement riots happening across the country are discovered to have central organizers or professional backing he would designate them foreign or domestic terror organizations, similar to what he did with Mexican cartels in February.
"I would do that, and in a minute," Trump told Just the News, No Noise television show Wednesday. I would do that."
Officially designating an organization as a terrorist group in the U.S. criminalizes providing material support, freezes assets, and restricts travel for members and supporters under laws such as the PATRIOT Act.

PBS and NPR face an uncertain future after the Senate voted to slash funding to the public broadcasters — leading the heads of both companies to make dire warnings about looming changes.
NPR CEO Katherine Maher gathered rattled staffers Thursday for a closed-door meeting at their Washington DC, office, shortly after the early-morning vote by the GOP-controlled Senate clawed back roughly $9 billion in spending for foreign aid, NPR and PBS.
The House has until Friday to seal their fate and send it to President Trump‘s desk, who is expected to sign the legislation.

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy has terminated the remaining $4 billion of unspent federal funds for California’s beleaguered high-speed rail project. The move is well justified.
In 2008, California voters approved a ballot measure that would allow the state to issue up to $9.95 billion in bonds to support an ambitious plan to build a high-speed rail system. But the state has not lived up to the promises made to its own voters who approved the measure and to the federal government. When it was sold to Californians 16 years ago, state rail officials presented a business plan that envisioned a sprawling 800-mile

The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board sent a straightforward message to President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
In recent weeks, Trump has mulled over the idea of firing Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, railing against the head of the central bank that he has continued to criticize for holding interest rates at a relatively high level. According to reports, Trump on Tuesday had asked a group of House Republicans whether he should act on his threat, going as far as to pen a letter for his ousting — despite Powell being appointed by the president during his first term, and his stint wrapping up next year. But on Wednesday, the president dismissed plans

Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum on Tuesday said her administration was considering the possibility of filing a legal complaint over the death of a migrant who fell to his death during an immigration raid at a cannabis farm in Camarillo.
Jaime Alanís Garcia was hospitalized and later died after falling off a roof during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in Camarillo.
"Jaime was not just a farmworker, he was a provider, and a human being who deserved dignity. His death is not an isolated tragedy. It is the result of a targeted raid at Glass House Farms. Workers were met not with protection, but with chaos and fear.
