With a new president in charge and the Department of Justice not looking to give Democrats anymore passes, Sen. Adam Schiff's chickens may finally be coming home to roost.
As RedState reported back in 2023, the senator claimed a Maryland home as his "primary residence" on a federally-insured loan document. By doing so, he secured a lower mortgage rate. The problem? He's a politician from Burbank, CA, who would not have been eligible to hold the elected offices he held from 2003-2025 if his primary residence were in another state. So one way or the other, it looks like Schiff lied.

Try #2.
Hmmm.... I seem to recall an article that Letitia James, the anti-Trump AG in Noo Yawk, did exactly the same thing.
I wonder if there's something in the water that makes the 'Rats think they can flout the Law and get away with it.

Steve Garvey was making this point in his speeches when he ran against Shifty for the Senate seat, but none of the press reported it. I would certainly love to have a Senator who was actually living in our state. When the wheeled-around corpse of Diane Feinstein was finally buried, our appointed replacement also lived in Maryland!

It's going to be very easy to get a rope around that pencil neck. Schiff has been an obnoxious poseur for a long time.

Sorry but I no longer have any faith in the DOJ. Nothing’s going to happen. Everyone’s known about this for years.

And we should be surprised that political Schiffty, is just as Schiffty in his personal dealings? That seems to be true about many dems, they are as ugly personally as they are politically.
It would be refreshing to have him held accountable for his illegal actions.

This is so sweet I am having sugar rush. And, how about that optic the other night of Pencil Neck (somewhere in Heave Rush is laughing) on the Colbert show? Is there no sweeter image than the lyin', cheatin, Schiff on the lyin, dyin, Colbert show? You couldn't have two better examples of the commie left melting in the hot, surging Trump world, than these two losers. What a difference a year makes. Thank you God.

Why should anyone be surprised? Schiff has made a career of fraud. Liars lie - they don't know otherwise.

Not a Schiff fan, but members of Congress are only required to be an "inhabitant" of their home state "when elected" (Const. Art. I, Sec. 2). States may not add other requirements (U.S. Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton (U.S. Supreme Court, 1995). The simple matter of geography compels members from states distant from the capital to rent apartments or purchase homes in areas near D.C. When Congress is in session, it is impractical to have a primary residence in states up to 5-8 hours away by plane. Newer members from California typically rent an apartment in D.C., fly to California Thursday afternoon, and return by the red-eye on Sunday, arriving at Reagan International on Monday morning before work. Long-term incumbents often spend less time in their districts, but even if they retain an apartment or title to a house in California, it would be a fiction to say that is their "primary residence."

Hopefully the DOJ will find a Judge that isn't in the Tank for the Commie Democraps!
I would think a one way trip to GITMO would be much better solution!

With this admission on video, this case should be a slam dunk. However, I disagree with the author's premise--this is not the Trump administration forcing the Dims to pay by their own rules. Unlike the made-up charges against Trump, these are real crimes. This is forcing the Dims to play by the rules they falsely claimed to play by, i.e., "No one is above the law."
