The Justice System Has Just Betrayed Laken Riley

Original Article

There are times in this country when the system’s failures are so egregious, so infuriating, that outrage isn’t just warranted; it’s the only sane response. The latest chapter in the Laken Riley case is exactly that kind of moment. Here we have a young woman, a promising nursing student, brutally murdered while jogging on her university campus. Her killer, Jose Ibarra — an illegal immigrant and known gang member — was convicted and sentenced to life without parole. Justice, it seemed, had finally been served. Not so fast. In a move that defies common sense and spits in the face of the victim’s family, the very judge

Comments:

IMHO, this is just another line of bull crappery designed to game the system AGAIN to benefit illegal aliens. If he isn't competent, deport him immediately. If he IS competent, let him serve his prison sentence and THEN deport him!!!

Some judicial decisions are so wrong that the judges who render them should be removed from office and probably should also be disbarred. But as long as Roberts is Chief Justice there will never be 'punishment' for egregious misapplications of the law or their very ignorance of it.

Our country has so fallen down the rabbit hole of corruption, fraud, waste and judicial malfeasance I despair that we will not be able right this country back to The Constitution and its founding principles. With the black robe tyranny we are experiencing after the presidential election what recourse is still available to us? Do we go from court to court and eject these tyrannical judges and douse them with tar and feathers? Our country teeters on the edge of a knife and we can fall on one side or the other. Good Lord above, I beg you to see us through these trying times.

I’d love to contact the judge, but right now I’m too angry. If that murdering rapist gets off because of mental incompetence, all he** is going to break loose. This is unforgivable torture for Laken’s family and friends. Wonder who got to the judge and li Ed his pockets.

No evidence supporting lack of competency was ever presented during pre-trial or trial. This a slap in the face to both Laken Riley's family, and the taxpayers paying for this fiasco. The lawyers who will get six figure paydays and the judge have no shame glands.

U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced Friday that the FBI has issued a $50,000 award for information leading to the conviction of “an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo.” Federal agents descended upon a marijuana farm near Camarillo, which is located just east of Los Angeles, detaining dozens of “farmworkers,” including 10 juveniles in the country illegally — eight of them unaccompanied, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott. During Thursday’s action, protesters began clashing with law enforcement. Tear gas was deployed to keep the crowd at bay, and at one point, a protester appeared to fire on the agents,

A leftist woman who’s been hassling U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents ran to the media to whine after she was unsurprisingly detained. The woman, a 71-year-old grandmother named Barbara Stone, showed up at the San Diego Courthouse Tuesday with the explicit intent to “document” ICE agents, according to local station KGTV. She claimed she was a volunteer for a left-wing pro-illegal alien group named Detention Resistance that goes around “showing support for … asylum seekers,” according to Stone’s own words. Speaking with KGTV, her lawyer added that the purpose of her volunteer work is to “film[] the arbitrary detentions of court participants.”

As BizPac Review reported on Friday, the Clinton daughter took a swipe at Kelly after a “poorly thought-out” X post promoting the Clinton Global Initiative’s action in the wake of the tragic Texas floods. “Hi Megyn – I’m sure any of the organizations I mentioned which are on the ground in Texas would welcome your support,” Clinton wrote in response to Kelly’s observation. “I would be happy to put you in touch directly. We all need to support those impacted by the tragic floods in Kerr county and surrounding areas.”

The federal government posted an unexpected budget surplus in June, fueled by a sharp rise in tariff revenues and higher-than-anticipated tax receipts, marking a notable vindication for President Donald Trump’s economic strategy. The $27 billion surplus reported Friday by the Treasury Department stood in stark contrast to forecasts for a $50 billion deficit, representing one of the largest upside surprises in recent budget data. Monthly surpluses typically occur in April, when many Americans file their taxes. Surpluses are also common in January and September. A June surplus is highly unusual.

He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today.” The move comes after Rep. The State Department was inundated with emotions on Friday, ranging from tears to open rebellion. The Trump administration moved forward with laying off over 1,300 career officials after the Supreme Court gave the go-ahead in a recent decision. Over a thousand more had already taken voluntary deferred resignations. The move comes as part of a restructuring led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. That includes getting rid of various departments centered on "diversity, equity, and inclusion." I'm going to guess that includes those who gave the order to fly pride-progress flags at U.S. embassies. In response, some flooded the lobby of the State Department

There's a new report from the General Accountability Office that has some troubling information when it comes to the protection that the Secret Service was providing to President Donald Trump before the assassination attempt on him in 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania: The report, ordered by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, reveals that the Secret Service received classified intelligence regarding a threat to Trump’s life 10 days before the rally, but failed to share the information with other key agencies. It also identified a series of procedural and planning mistakes, including "misallocation of resources, lack of training and pervasive communication failures" that led to the near assassination.

There’s a reason President Trump’s “Total Authorization” directive to ICE agents made headlines this week. It wasn’t just rhetoric. It wasn’t a PR stunt. It was a direct and necessary counterstrike against an environment that’s become completely hostile to the basic rule of law. This time, the flashpoint was Camarillo, California. Federal agents found themselves under siege while trying to conduct lawful immigration enforcement. What should’ve been a straightforward operation turned into a violent clash. Protesters — some carrying bricks, others allegedly brandishing firearms — attacked ICE vehicles. Windows were smashed. Agents were physically assaulted. In a normal country, this would be a non-story. Law enforcement gets attacked, law enforcement pushes back,
