Federal judge orders ICE to halt immigration
raids in Southern California

Original Article

A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to temporarily halt immigration raids in Los Angeles and several other counties in California, after ruling in favor of the American Civil Liberties Union's civil rights lawsuit. "As required by the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution, Defendants shall be enjoined from conducting detentive stops in this District unless the agent or officer has reasonable suspicion that the person to be stopped is within the United States in violation of U.S. immigration law," U.S. District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong wrote in her ruling. The judge determined that federal agents cannot "rely solely" on certain factors

Comments:

This Biden judge doesn't know the means and methods these agencies utilize for determining reasonable suspicion. There's nothing she can point to that supports her ordering executive branch agencies from continuing their work making America safe and prosperous. The judge just acted out of prejudice and needs to be put back into her lane.

The Supreme Court case Illinois v. Wardlow (2000) established that unprovoked flight from police in a high-crime area is sufficient to create reasonable suspicion. In that case, the Court reasoned that while fleeing is not necessarily indicative of wrongdoing, it is suggestive of it and represents the "consummate act of evasion".

This is so absurdly illegal that ICE should ignore it. Let them take ICE to court. And for the judge in the case, ICE knows they are illegal, and not only that, they have criminal records. It is much more than a suspicion that they are illegal, exceeding the hurdle created by this judge by many times.

No Need for violence/retaliation from the right. Trump should announce that if the Police, ICE or Border Security catch any of these INSURRECTIONIST RIOTERS throwing something or attacking them they will be INELIGIBLE for ANY AND ALL GOVERNMENT WELFARE MONEY forever. Retinal eye scan, fingerprints and DNA will be taken just in case they change their name. Wanna stop the violence FAST? Threaten to take away their money. Soros many pay them for their time but he will NOT pay to keep them forever monetarily. These INSURRECTIONISTS WEARING MASKS most likely live off of government welfare programs. I bet most have no job. (Unless you count getting paid to RIOT). If we take away their section 8 or other benefits I bet they would all go home. Benefits can be removed for certain behaviors, like selling drugs or offering false in and the list goes on. I would think BREAKING FEDERAL LAW against your country could count. Or charge them w TREASON. Hire more police and have one group go after these MASKED INSURREECTIONISTS and the other police go after the illegals.

Hmmm, the ACLU wins again. So, what are the chances here? And they always seem to win TRO's from leftist lower court Judges. I sure hope the U.S. Supreme Court is keeping track of all these and how many of these lower court Judges are being overturned. If Chief Justice Roberts had ANY Judicial Branch leadership he would gather all these Federal District Judges on a Zoom call, with formal written follow-up, to let them know that he, as Chief Justice of the Judicial Branch, will remove from the Bench any District Court Judge who stops the President and his Executive Branch from enforcing the law using nationwide TRO's. If there are this many District Court Judges who a willfully ignoring the Constitution and separation of powers, then it is incumbent on the Chief Justice to do some, "house-cleaning," on his Judgeships, as the Senate affirmed some true losers.

All aliens either illegally or legally in the USA, while in the USA are required to abide by all US criminal laws and especially the Federal immigration laws, and if not are subjecting themselves to arrest, criminal prosecution, and deportation. So it’s common sense that aliens interfering with US Border Patrol Agents who were conducting their law enforcement missions, by assaulting them with deadly objects, large rocks and shooting at them with a firearm, while violating US law in the USA under Mexican flags absolutely are subjecting themselves to arrest, criminal prosecution, and deportation.

The very act of rioting and attacking ICE agents prove that they are worthless criminals and no sane nation should want them to set foot in their country. The Democrats are backing these violent rioters and I hope that this is the last hill they elect to die on. Do they really understand the optics involved here? From the article: 'The lawsuit also claims that ICE operations have cost the cities tens of millions of dollars in expenses, including overtime. Since enforcement actions ramped up on June 6, L.A. County has incurred $9 million in extra costs, stemming from lost tax revenue and law enforcement resources, according to the Office of County Counsel. L.A. County officials likened the economic impact on the region to the COVID-19 pandemic.' Yes, deporting a massive amount of illegal aliens is quite expensive. This is another whack-a-mole goofball that will be slapped down by the Supreme Court. For the next ICE raid in Southern California, between the protesters and the tear gas on one side, and the National Guard on the other, a desk can be set up where the judge can rule in each case of assault whether sufficient probable cause exists.

NATO countries have devised a novel way to provide critical American weaponry to Ukraine for its fight against Russia, and President Trump suggested for the first time that he’s likely to go along with it. Rather than the United States continuing to give its weapons to Ukraine, officials in NATO countries conceived a plan where the Trump administration could sell them to allies, which would then give them to Ukraine. Not only could that be a financial windfall for the United States, it would also shield Mr. Trump — who has expressed skepticism of devoting U.S. military support to Ukraine — from accusations of direct involvement in the war.

The Trump administration has sued California over its animal cruelty laws, saying the state's regulation of chicken farms has led to high egg prices across the country. Lowering the cost of eggs, which spiked in recent years as an avian flu outbreak ravaged American flocks, was one of President Donald Trump's key campaign promises in the lead-up to the 2024 election. But almost six months into his second mandate, his administration has struggled to keep the cost of the staple down. The administration now says California's regulations create "unnecessary red tape" in the production of eggs and are responsible for stubbornly high prices.

And those mullah's mouths are still writing checks their butts can't cash. In the latest, Iran has now placed a $40+ million bounty on President Trump. An Iranian movement has reportedly raised more than $40 million for the assassination of President Donald Trump, as the country’s senior religious clerics make clear that "every cell of the resistance in the West is charged with carrying out this sentence." Iranian leaders recently issued two death warrants, or fatwas,

You knew in your heart of hearts from the very beginning. Even as you watched those first flames take the first houses and then leap up through the canyons and down through the hillsides, through the breaks, even jumping PCH to gobble up the houses tucked next to the highway itself - those uniquely SoCal structures sandwiched between the asphalt and that big, blue Pacific surf...you knew. You knew would never see it again, for all the gargoyle grin assurances of the mayor who couldn't be bothered to be there when the flames broke out. For all the slickster, huckstering, faux promises

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Weeknight,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) accused the Trump administration of not providing sufficient disaster assistance to different states and wondered, “what are you doing with the money? Is it because you want to make sure that we’ve got more Alligator Alcatrazes, like, what is it?” Crockett said, “I still don’t know if they’ve even officially declared an emergency as it relates to what happened in Missouri since this administration has been in, right there in my hometown in St. Louis, the tornadoes that devastated that area, I know that there were concerns about FEMA’s response

The good news for Warner Bros./DC Studios is that its new Superman movie is quickly becoming a cultural touchstone, the standard by which all future superhero movies will be judged. The bad news is that it’s the low-end benchmark, representing the absolute worst that a superhero movie can be while not going straight to streaming. Director James Gunn is suddenly the Mario Mendoza of action filmmaking, and his Superman denotes the Mendoza Line, the trough of superhero futility. Or, as political commentator Ben Domenech put it, “This movie absolutely, totally sucks. The CGI sucks. The writing sucks. The cast, which is, for the most part,

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin predicted that a day of “reckoning” is coming for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who have taken steps to protect their identity while carrying out their duties. Today’s dangerous political climate has now made it necessary for some ICE agents to wear masks to prevent being doxxed, a preferred method of terrorism regularly used by leftists.[snip] and the show’s house racist ominously told viewers that “there will be a reckoning” for ICE. in my world, you mask yourself because you don’t want to be seen

Many people surmise the Trump administration is unaware of the ongoing MAGA backlash to the DOJ and FBI position on matter of Jeffrey Epstein. For a significant -albeit unknown- portion of President Trump’s support base, the case against Jeffrey Epstein was/is a strong part of how they positioned their MAGA support. That coalition is now furious and threatening to withdraw support for President Trump on all other policy areas. Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino are all telling the same story. There is trouble afoot. (snip) the colosseum held a very fickle crowd.

A federal judge in Los Angeles is trying to shut down ICE enforcement of the nation’s popular immigration laws on the claim that it is illegally “profiling” people in California. Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, issued two restraining orders late on Friday. Frimpong was nominated by President Joe Biden and is the daughter of two immigrants from Ghana. She was selected by both Harvard and Yale universities.[snip]The suspects’ race and ethnicity, their difficulty speaking English, their location at sites known for hiring illegal immigrants, and their class of work do not meet the “probable cause” requirement for arrests, the judge ruled.

For months, the signs have been impossible to ignore: the Democratic Party is in freefall. Poll after poll shows voters turning away in droves—disillusioned by the party’s radical agenda, frustrated by its lack of leadership, and convinced it no longer represents their values. The 2024 elections were a political earthquake, and in the aftermath, Democrats have been left picking through the rubble of a once-dominant coalition. The party’s “next generation” of leaders—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett—have all the gravitas of a student council president demanding longer lunch periods and less homework. So now the question is: What does a broken party do when it’s staring into the abyss?

Protesters and even California Gov. Gavin Newsom targeted Vice President JD Vance as he visited Disneyland with his family this weekend. Sharing a video of Vance with his family at the Southern California theme park, Newsom wrote, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t,” in a post on X on Saturday. Some 100 to 150 protesters gathered outside the gates of the “Happiest Place on Earth” to jeer Vance and his family on Friday and Saturday after his presence at the park was reported, according to the Orange County Register.

The State Department was inundated with emotions on Friday, ranging from tears to open rebellion. The Trump administration moved forward with laying off over 1,300 career officials after the Supreme Court gave the go-ahead in a recent decision. Over a thousand more had already taken voluntary deferred resignations. The move comes as part of a restructuring led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. That includes getting rid of various departments centered on "diversity, equity, and inclusion." I'm going to guess that includes those who gave the order to fly pride-progress flags at U.S. embassies. In response, some flooded the lobby of the State Department
