Attorney General Pam Bondi is facing increasing calls for her resignation or firing as a leaked Department of Justice memo has indicated the agency found no evidence that Jeffrey Epstein engaged in large-scale blackmail and that no master list of his clients existed.
Conservative activist Liz Wheeler ranked among the most vocal in her calls for Bondi's ouster, saying ""If I'm President Trump, I would not tolerate this behavior anymore. She has become a LIABILITY to his administration."
Wheeler further referenced Bondi's past orchestration of a botched public release of information to MAGA influencers in binders.

President Trump said Monday his administration would send Ukraine additional weapons after his administration imposed a pause on some shipments to Kyiv.
“We’re going to send some more weapons. We have to. They have to be able to defend themselves. They’re getting hit very hard now,” Trump told reporters during a dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Defensive weapons, primarily, but they’re getting hit very, very hard. So many people are dying in that mess,” he added.
The Pentagon last week confirmed a decision to halt the delivery of some air defense missiles and munitions to Ukraine, citing concerns about U.S. military stockpiles being depleted.

Rescue teams in central Texas scoured storm-ravaged terrain Monday for signs of life as the death toll from last week's catastrophic flooding rose to at least 104 and bouts of heavy rain battered hard-hit areas. (Snip) Among the dead were at least 27 children and counselors from Camp Mystic, a beloved all-girls summer camp in Kerr County, where the worst of the flooding broke out. At least 10 girls and one counselor remain missing, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said at a news conference Monday. "Texas is grieving right now. A judge on Monday barred the Trump administration from revoking Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood, partially freezing a provision of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act just days after President Trump signed it into law.
The temporary restraining order by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani lasts 14 days and directs the Department of Health and Human Services to "take all steps necessary to ensure that Medicaid funding continues to be disbursed" to Planned Parenthood. The ruling, which came after a lawsuit from Planned Parenthood, doesn't apply to any other health care providers.
The lawsuit takes aim at a portion of Mr. Trump's signature domestic policy bill that would cut off

As RedState previously documented, California Democrats have been throwing tantrums since the immigration sweeps in Los Angeles started, with Gov. Gavin Newsom using the issue to try and elevate his profile ahead of an anticipated 2028 presidential run and Mayor Karen Bass and other Democrats coddling rioters and gaslighting about "peaceful protests."
More recently, Bass announced that she refused to meet with ICE, nor would she work with them, with Fox News reporting at the time that "Bass said the only deal is for ICE to go home, and she gave no indication she would be willing to meet w/ the agency."

Flyers warning immigrants to "self-deport" are being distributed to immigrants at immigration courts including those in Phoenix.
The flyers are generated by the U.S. Department of Justice, which oversees the nation's immigration court system, including immigration judges.
The flyers, written in English and Spanish, are part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to pressure undocumented immigrants to self-deport amid recent ICE arrests at immigration courts and an expanding immigration crackdown and mass deportation agenda. Immigrant advocates say the flyers, titled "Message to Illegal Aliens: A Warning to Self-Deport," contain misleading information

The secretary explained that “Honduran citizens can safely return home, and DHS is here to help facilitate their voluntary return.”

The Democrats have chosen form over substance. The president gets things done while his opponents opt for dramatic arts.
Two Democratic leaders have spoken longer than my verbose college roommate. Corey Booker spoke in the Senate for 25 hours. Hakeem Jeffries last week added nearly another 9 hours of Democratic talking, talking, talking. That Senator Spartacus and Congressman Magic Minute could talk for a day and a half is certainly impressive.Did their rhetorical tour-de-force performances actually accomplish anything? The answer is a solid no. Nothing changed on the ground—but that was never expected. They just wanted to go through the motions.

The Democrat crowing about how the Big Beautiful Bill is going to be the doom of the Republicans is about as convincing as Zohran Mamdami’s college app claim that he’s a black guy; in his defense, he is more Indian than Elizabeth Warren, in a manner of speaking. Though their social media doofuses and regime media toe-sucks are hooting about how Hakeem Jeffries set a record for running his fool mouth and how voters will totally be angry with the GOP for killing eleventy million people – the BBB is even deadlier than net neutrality, climate change,

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz believes President Trump’s mass deportation operation is an effort to “bleach America.”
The Florida Democrat has been making the case in interviews and on social media that the administration wants to “round up as many brown people as they can, and they are focused on making sure that they can get rid of immigrants to this country who helped make our country great.”
Speaking to MSNBC, Wasserman Schultz took issue with the fact that not all those who have been detained are among “the worst of the worst.” While the administration did emphasize deporting the worst criminal aliens first,

Bottom line: Competition works in free markets. And that's why the Protection Racket Media tried very hard to kill off their competition through tendentious 'fact checks' and cheerleading for government censorship. Even with their grip on information markets, their narrative labs have to compete -- and that led the New York Times to get a scoop over the weekend.
This revelation from Semafor leads to an interesting "what if," though:
The afternoon before a long holiday weekend isn’t always the best time to drop a major scoop. But the New York Times did not want to wait to publish its story about Zohran Mamdani’s application to Columbia University in 2009

Three federal & TX law enforcement sources tell me an active shooter with a rifle & tactical gear ambushed Border Patrol agents as they arrived at a Border Patrol annex facility in McAllen, TX this morning. Local police and federal agents returned fire, killing him.
Melugin added, "I’m told this was a purposeful ambush/attack against federal agents and a press conference is planned for later this morning."
While no Border Patrol agents were injured, there are reports that a police officer was shot in the firefight. He is said to be in stable condition.

Democratic lawmakers say their voters are enraged at the lack of ability to counter President Donald Trump's agenda, with some saying they could resort to "violence," Axios reported Monday.
The outlet says it spoke to over two dozen House Democrats to measure the temperature of the Democratic base. What it found was red-hot anger and a burgeoning desire to circumvent the rule of law, where explanations that Democrats simply don't hold enough power in Washington fall on deaf ears.
"We've got people who are desperately wanting us to do something... no matter what we say, they want [more]," Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Ill., told the outlet.

It didn't start with the nomination of Zohran Mandami last Tuesday, but his victory continued the trend. The Dems and the Jews are not one anymore. Let's check this out from
Gregory Lyakhov: "The Democratic Party, once a political home for Jewish Americans, has now become a party that excuses, enables, and empowers antisemitism. Jewish Americans committed to their faith, safety, and democratic values must recognize that political loyalty cannot be unconditional. The time for denial has passed."

A United Nation’s report issued last month calls for the criminalization of spreading “disinformation and misinformation” about global warming. Is it the desperate act of a dying crusade – or business as usual for the climate fanatics?
While our hope is the former, it’s more likely the latter.
According to Elisa Morgera, the U.N. special rapporteur on climate change, governments should “criminalize misinformation and misrepresentation (greenwashing) by the fossil fuel industry” as well as “criminalize media and advertising firms for amplifying disinformation and misinformation by fossil fuel companies.”

Plaintiffs want U.S. District Judge William Young to rule the policy violates the First Amendment and the Administrative Procedure Act, a law governs the process by which federal agencies develop and issue regulations.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Sunday that countries will see their respective tariff rates “boomerang back” on Aug. 1 to the higher levels announced three months ago, if they don’t strike a deal with the U.S. sooner.
In Sunday show interviews, Bessent doubled down on President Trump’s comments Friday, in which the president told reporters that the “reciprocal” tariffs — first announced on April 2 and then paused for 90 days a week later — would officially take effect on Aug. 1, not July 9, when the 90-day pause is set to expire.

One of the fascinating things about following leftists on social media is that they are lemmings. The order goes out that all must put up a specific meme and, suddenly, all do. That’s why my long-ago high school classmates (99% of whom are leftists), suddenly started posting a variation of a meme insisting that Leviticus—a part of the Bible that is so dear to conservative hearts—mandates accepting illegal aliens. Naturally, these leftists, who wouldn’t recognize the Bible if it bit them, are completely wrong.
The most popular version of this meme, the one with almost 6 million views, came from Devin Duke:

Forgive us for finding real comedy in how Zohran Mamdani’s rise is making the Democratic establishment squirm.
Onetime “New Democrat” Bill Clinton, who won the White House by breaking with the party’s left, now has had to lead the parade of folks congratulating Mamdani on winning the Democratic primary — without actually endorsing him.
Oh, and there’s Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand popping up the other week to insist Mamdani denounce the phrase “globalize the intifada” — only to soon feel compelled to turn tail and apologize to him for saying in a radio interview that the anti-Zionist supports “global jihad” and Hamas.

A Manhattan courthouse became a crime scene last month when a man with multiple open criminal cases slashed two law enforcement officers in the neck and face — inside the very building where justice is supposed to be enforced.
Not on the subway. Not in the street. In the courthouse itself.
It’s hard to imagine a clearer sign of how broken our justice system has become under Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
The place where consequences are supposed to be delivered has now become one more place where criminals act without fear.
In any other city, this would be shocking. In New York, it feels familiar.

Zohran Mamdani may be a lightweight in his own right, but as mayor he’d bring an entire extremist movement along with him to City Hall, with dire consequences for the city.
Mamdani can hedge and haw all he likes, but he’s the face of a truly radical movement, the Democratic Socialists of America — which boasts of being truly anti-capitalist and indeed looking to “seize the means of production,” which is as Marxist as anyone could ask.
Zohran himself just a few years ago lectured about how socialists needed to be honest about these goals; that he’s changed his tune merely means he’s now more interested in winning elections.

When Elon Musk started bellyaching about the “One Big Beautiful Bill” he revealed why his influence on the Trump administration was destined to be short-lived. Like most billionaires, he is accustomed to getting what he wants when and how he wants it. He has no patience with the excruciating political process and the necessary compromises that must be endured to produce a piece of legislation like the bill Trump signed into law on July 4. In this regard he has much in common with the late Ross Perot, whose destructive foray into national politics proved so disastrous for the Republican Party and the nation at large.
