No, Trump Didn’t Violate the War Powers Act

It was hardly necessary to consult Nostradamus to know that the Democrats would denounce President Trump’s decision to bomb three Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday. Nonetheless, the combination of hypocrisy, historical illiteracy, and constitutional ignorance that characterized their reaction to the raid was startling even by Democrat standards. Several actually claimed that Trump somehow committed an impeachable offence by ordering the strikes, though none seemed able to specify any “high crimes” or “misdemeanors.” Some insisted that Trump violated the War Powers Act.

It has become very apparent over the years that the democrat communist party hates Trump more than they hate America even. No matter what he does, they will beat the impeachment drums even louder than before. And when its all over, they will apologize for maybe being "overzealous" with the full knowledge that half the electorate are stupid enough to buy it. They are to be ignored, and many should be tried for treason. All should be tried for corruption.

The 'Rats and their 'comrades' (in the Soviet sense) in the Lamestreams have nothing legitimate to throw at President Trump, so they are reduced to making stuff up, then throwing it against the media Wall to see if any of it will stick. When it doesn't, they don't apologize..... the story just disappears and they move on to the next imagined slight or 'wrong' that he did. Many of these people could not hold down a regular job. That they are elected to Federal office is an indication of how stupid or ill-informed the people are that voted for them.

For as long as I can remember liberals have been opposed to nuclear power and nuclear weapons. There is one exception; when it is in the hands of a middle Eastern dictatorship that is run by messianic religious fanatics who hate the U.S.

Trump most likely figured that he could not consult with the leftist progressive Democrats in Congress about the mission to knock out Iran’s nuclear capability. As if Trump did, chances are great that the leftist progressive Democrats would have “leaked” the mission to their liberal media propagandists who would have alerted the Iranians.

President Trump on Tuesday said the U.S. knows where Iran has hidden Ayatollah Ali Khamenei while Israeli bombs drop. “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Mr. Trump wrote on social media. “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.” In another post Tuesday, he called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender” in all caps.He said earlier, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran.”

Is this resistance or treachery? Over the weekend on (of course) MSNBC, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson announced that Chicago, under his charge, will continue its "sanctuary" policies, and will continue to resist any effort by the federal government to enforce the law. When did enforcing the law become undesirable to anyone other than a criminal? The mayor said: Let me first just acknowledge the level of anxiety and fear and trepidation that this administration has caused. You've never seen a society improve or expand under this type of fear. And we're going to continue to resist, we're going to do it in many different ways,

The weekend’s grand military parade in Washington to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary was a feel-good patriotic triumph and a rebuke to Democrats and their mean-spirited, small-minded anti-Trump protests. America has the mightiest army in the world. It’s something to be proud and patriotic about. Why not celebrate? And what a show it was, with uniforms dating back to the Revolutionary War, 6,600 soldiers, 150 vehicles and 50 helicopters participating, not to mention a robot dog and drones. The parade was a display of pride in our troops and their awesome weaponry, but importantly, it also stood as a warning to our adversaries at a time of global peril,

Most Americans think of the Civil War as an unambiguous conflict between the North and the South over slavery, and that is generally accurate. It was an insurrection against the federal government committed by 11 states whose Democrat governors and legislators feared that the recently elected Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, would deprive them of their non-citizen labor force. These state officials vowed to resist any attempt by the federal government to put down their rebellion and routinely denounced the new president as an aspiring dictator. Why does this sound familiar?

While mainstream news outlets, cable networks and social media obsess over Elon Musk’s latest antics, they have neglected a far more important story — the Trump administration is accumulating a significant catalogue of appeals court and SCOTUS victories. Last Friday alone three more wins were added to the list. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the White House may exclude AP from its press pool while SCOTUS stayed a district court order requiring DOGE to heed a Freedom of Information Act request and ruled that it can access Social Security Administration records.

Now that Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson have published Original Sin, which confirms what most Americans already knew — that former President Joe Biden was cognitively unfit to carry out the duties of his office — the corporate media are attempting to deflect attention from their complicity in a dangerous cover up. The “original sin,” according to Tapper and Thompson, was Biden’s decision to run for reelection in 2024 and the dishonesty of his aides. A far more egregious sin, however, was the cover-up of Biden’s decline by countless journalists who refused to report the truth.

Iran’s parliament has voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, the vital shipping channel through which around 20% of the world’s daily oil flows. The move, which could block $1 billion in oil shipments per day, is likely to send oil prices soaring. It will come into effect pending a final decision by Iran’s Supreme Council. The Supreme Council’s decision must be made by tonight, according to Iran’s state-run Press TV. Iran’s major escalation in response to US strikes on its nuclear facilities “will be done whenever necessary,” Email Kosari, Commander in the Revolutionary Guards, said on Sunday.

Medvedev in a ten-point list of reactions characterized the attacks as ultimately ineffective, and that it will blow back on America and Israel in a way opposite than intended, especially as Tehran will now only push harder for a nuke, and allied countries might now simply be willing to supply them to the Iranians, he described.

Trump said Thursday he would make a decision in the “next two weeks” to allow more time for negotiations, giving the sense of reprieve amid fevered speculation he might join Israel’s airstrikes. “Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,”

It’s very early in the Iran nuclear story, but one thing is certain: What Barack Obama gave to Iran—millions and millions of dollars in cash on wooden pallets to make The Bomb—Trump just took back. Obama had no problems with Iran developing a nuclear weapon. The money he gave the Mullahs was to go toward that end. Islamophilic Obama thought that the country that vowed “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” had every right to have nuclear weapons with which to carry out those threats. Iran had been threatening to vaporize all of us with nukes for years. Obama apparently thought, “Why not?” and sent them
