Dark Clouds Over South Africa

The ANC's National Democratic Revolution strategy compels dominating the Judiciary; it reads: "judicial independence to be undermined, in part by vesting most appointments to the bench in an ANC-dominated Judicial Service Commission." It was therefore not unexpected that the Constitutional Court might rule in support of the slogan, "Kill the Boer". Sadly, what Ramaphosa actually intends, despite his grand terminology, is that there will be a redistribution of wealth and asset ownership in the form of either expropriation without compensation and/or a mandatory transfer of equity in businesses held by minorities to the black majority.

Zimbabwe once was the bread basket of Africa and when the Blacks confiscated the White's farms they are now starving. The same is going to happen to South Africa and I don't want us to give them any aid. When the Dutch settled in South Africa nobody was living there. The Blacks went down to get jobs and over the years gained more power because there were more of them and now they are stealing from the Whites and have tortured them. Let them live in their own poverty and mess in a few years, It is a shame.

Because Mandela was a revolutionary in jail, far too many assumed he would make a good president, leader etc. He was weak and ineffectual. His wife was a holy terror. And he allowed corruption, violence, abuses etc to run rampant. Mandela was also an 'anti-racist' who let racism run amok and become the black version of apartheid. See also: Obama, B. Far too many viewed the ANC as some sort of collection of angels. As above, they were and are corrupt, violent, racist. Far too many people watched the Oscar Pistorius trial and never questioned the necessity of white South Africans forced to build homes inside a compound with thick, high walls, a sturdy gate and lots of electronic security. They also never questioned the Pistorius (and his neighbors) having to keep firearms handy in literally every room of the house.

3 Million Americans Fled ‘Sanctuary

Four Years

Today, the governors of three “sanctuary states” will try to explain to lawmakers why it is official state policy to protect those who are in the U.S. illegally – including violent felons – from deportation. Do these governors know that millions of American citizens have fled their sanctuary states in the past four years? Do they care? The hearing – which will feature Illinois’ JB Pritzker, Minnesota’s Tim Walz, and New York’s Kathy Hochul – should be a lively one, even if the preening California Gov. Gavin Newsom isn’t there to defend the riots his policies have unleashed.

The U.N. nuclear watchdog’s board of governors on Thursday formally found that Iran isn’t complying with its nuclear obligations for the first time in 20 years, a move that could lead to further tensions and set in motion an effort to restore United Nations sanctions on Tehran later this year. Iran reacted immediately, saying it will establish a new enrichment facility “in a secure location” and that “other measures are also being planned.” “The Islamic Republic of Iran has no choice but to respond to this political resolution,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said in a joint statement.

There’s an old joke line that says, “Don’t confuse me with facts.” It’s also a leftist line of argument. I used to try to argue with a leftist about politics, but whenever I’d bring in facts to counter his theories, he’d storm out, furious that I was polluting the discussion with how the world actually works. Greta Thunberg is a leftist down to the marrow of her bones, so she, too, refuses to have her ideological purity tainted by the facts. That’s why, when Israel attempted to show her and her fellow “selfie” yacht comrades footage of the October 7 atrocities,

Over 80 people were arrested as a massive anti-ICE protest in Lower Manhattan Tuesday devolved into chaos with shrieking, sign-holding demonstrators flooding the streets, clashing with cops and hurling objects at officers. Thousands of angry New Yorkers took to the streets near Foley Square in the shadow of City Hall to protest the Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportations ongoing in the city and throughout the country. As the sky grew dark, over 80 demonstrators were taken into custody by the NYPD at several locations across downtown in the area surrounding Federal Plaza, according to police sources.

When you meet Donald Trump, the first thing you notice is his hospitality. He is a bountiful host who always wants to make visitors feel comfortable. He will quite literally offer you the food off his plate. He will endure constant bruises on the back of his hands from well-wishers showing their gratitude with vigorous handshakes that he reciprocates warmly, even though he’s a renowned (maybe reformed) germaphobe. He likes people and is always generous with his time and attention. It’s a quality his detractors will never allow but it has been a big part of his success.

Ever since President Trump federalized the National Guard to restore order in Los Angeles and protect federal officers from violent left-wing mobs, the left has been screeching the same tired lie: that Trump “refused” to send the Guard to the Capitol on January 6. It’s a narrative being pushed by Democrat hacks, legacy media mouthpieces, and keyboard warriors who conveniently ignore the facts. The truth? Trump absolutely did authorize and recommend the deployment of National Guard troops ahead of January 6—multiple times.

Donald Trump made no secret of his willingness to exert a maximalist approach to enforcing immigration laws and keeping order as he campaigned to return to the White House. The fulfillment of that pledge is now on full display in Los Angeles. The president has put hundreds of National Guard troops on the streets to quell protests over his administration’s immigration raids, a deployment that state and city officials say has only inflamed tensions. Trump called up the California National Guard over the objections of Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom — the first time in 60 years a president has done so — and is deploying active-duty troops to support the guard.

Staff at the National Park Service were instructed to post QR codes and signs at all 433 national parks, monuments and historic sites asking visitors to flag anything they think should be changed, from a plaque to a film at a visitor’s center.

Former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has a longstanding affinity for Communist China. He has visited there more than 30 times, and chose China as the venue for his wedding in 1994. Walz has expressed his admiration for communism, and he had a Chinese girlfriend who almost certainly was an agent of the CCP. So it shouldn’t be surprising that, interviewed by Neera Tanden of the Center for American Progress, he unleashed a couple of howlers. Here, he expresses contempt for the military parade scheduled for tomorrow. Walz will skip the event, choosing to participate instead in an anti-Trump rally. Count on Democrats to put a face to Republican efforts to cut federal benefits, rolling out potential victims who elicit the most sympathy so the media can broadcast their plight to the nation. But Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s choice to counter a significant GOP cut to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) was not exactly from central casting. SNAP helps feed more than 40 million low-income Americans, which is a crisis all to itself that DC conveniently overlooks, and Republicans are advocating for nearly $300 billion in cuts through 2034, which includes pushing some of the costs down to states.
