Democrats have been losing their minds about the 250th birthday of the Army celebration in Washington, D.C.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's reaction was pretty disgusting - acting like he was horrified by seeing the preparations, and even hoping they will be rained on. Too bad, Tim; so far, it looks like a beautiful day.
There were other Democrats like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) who attacked the event, claiming it is somehow a celebration by President Donald Trump of his birthday and that the cost of $45 million is too much. But they had been preparing for the event for the past two years.

Watching on Fox… Wonderful parade. Annoying persistent yammer by the Foxies.

No surprise. Democrats have been siding with America's enemies for over fifty years. The illegal invaders are just the latest.

Loads of people watching the parade. Too bad the smoke from the New Jersey and Candian wildfires is obscuring the view to a certain extent.

We watched it and enjoyed seeing all the fine young men and women in uniform - they were having a ball, smiling and waving at the crowd. I would think twice before wanting to take on our soldiers - they appear to be extraordinarily fit, broad shoulders, trim waists….a lot of them looked as though they could bend rebar. Go USA!

We watched on YouTube. They just showed the parade with no annoying newscasters. My husband and I had tears streaming down our faces when Trump swore in the 250 newest members of the Army. I don’t know whose idea that was but it was beautiful.

Watched it on Newsmax. SEAL Carl Higbie was impressive and displayed an extensive knowledge of military equipment and history, knowing every vehicle and aircraft by name and era. The Fox chattering magpies were just annoying.

Who came up with the 45 million dollar figure? Wouldn't the only cost be gasoline and diesel fuel?
All the military equipment existed. The soldiers were going to be somewhere working, eating and sleeping. So who came up with 45 mill?

On Fox, the talking over the parade announcer by Emily and Lawrence was sooo annoying and contributed NOTHING to the parade - they talk to their audience as if we are idiots. Many os us are veterans and/or students of military/US history. Then tried Newsmax and I love Carl Higbie and LtCol Tony Shaeffer, but they fell into reminiscing about their time in the Navy SEALS and Army respectfully - drove me nuts. C-SPAN wasn't much better. At least the weather didn't get nasty.

It does not appear that the leftist progressive Democrats care one hoot about the US Military and keep their family members as far away from the military as they can. It looks like the only interaction that the Democrats have had in recent decades is to deploy the military to fight in foreign wars that have little or nothing to do with the national defense of the USA, and then to back away withdrawing their support when the going gets tough, without any thought of winning such armed conflicts, as an example the Biden “bug out” from Afghanistan.

I had to help get ready for much smaller military parades. Regular duties were pushed aside because the amount of work was enormous. The vehicles had to be spotless and operate perfectly. The marchers had to practice and practice some more. They even shuffled the formations so the girls would be to the outside and thus more visible. Uniforms had to be perfect.
It was a relief when it was over.

As an Army brat, I remember post parades on Armed Forces Day. They were followed by picnics in the Army tents (put on by the mess hall), exhibitions of the various vehicles where the kids were allowed to climb in and around them, and fireworks at night. I guess it was this--but on a much smaller scale--on every post, every year. Magical. I love our military. My dad, brother, husband and sons have all served. So proud of our country and this president!

What a delight...I watched it non-stop for several hours....loved Carl Higgbe of Newsmax bring his expertise from his years of service to the mix...what a guy....and his exchange with his cohort was so much fun...don't you just love listening to men talk...one on one...there's free exchange and humor that is not there when women participate...like that woman in the house or was it senate.who told a visiting administration official she was a "woman"...so she deserved extra time.....what?????

We watched on CBN and loved the patriotic pride of our country. And the world was watching our celebration of our army and that should scare our enemies that we have the greatest military in history. We are so proud to be an American!

I should've watched it on Newsmax, or at least had the TV tuned to that channel since I was busy with other things. Carl Higbie is aces and I'm sure he presented it wonderfully.
I just checked. The really good news is I have it in Youtube Library and can watch it whenever I want!

The people at the anti-military protests are the now elderly versions of the high school and college kids who spit on our service veterans when they returned from Vietnam; or the addle-brained offspring of the vile self-loathing drug-using college protesters from back " in the day."
