In a major breakthrough that could finally bring long-awaited answers to the American people, federal investigators have recovered Dr. Anthony Fauci’s COVID-era phones and electronic devices, which could include data crucial in determining whether the former architect of the federal pandemic response lied to the public and to Congress.
FBI Director Kash Patel, working alongside congressional investigators on the origins of COVID-19, revealed the bombshell during his appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
“I mean, we just had a great breakthrough this week on Fauci,” Patel announced. “Senator Rand Paul, Senator Kennedy—

Big news this week: Former White House voodoo doll Karine Jean-Pierre is now a self-declared independent. Now I’d like for her to name a single policy that distinguishes her from the Democrat Party, and no, “meeting folks where they’re at” doesn’t count.
Jean-Pierre made her newfound affiliation public by way of announcing a new book, in which she’ll allegedly claim for herself “a political space more loyal to personal beliefs than a party affiliation.” It’s been all of four months since Jean-Pierre was serving as the top spokeswoman for President Brain Dead, the former leader of the Democrat Party, Joe Biden, and now we’re to believe she’s a deeply thoughtful nonpartisan,

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered the removal of Harvey Milk's name from a Navy replenishment ship, and the move stirred up the inevitable controversy.
It was intended to, just as the original naming of the ship was meant to be a poke in the eye of opponents of DEI. The choice to name the ship after Milk was meant to send a signal that the Navy was honoring Harvey Milk for being a gay rights icon, and the choice to remove it was meant to tell people that Trump's Navy doesn't honor people for how they deploy their genitals.
I have to admit that the

The American Revolution was the first step in a global upheaval that would do away with a system called monarchy, creating a new world of equality and freedom. On paper this sounds about perfect, n’est-ce pas, as our French friends say, but in actual fact a few years later the Haitians revolted and massacred the ones who didn’t agree with the revolutionaries, appalling democrats the Western world over. The French chopping off the heads of all people who knew which fork and knife to use at the table did not help democracy either. Nasty and bitter partisan elections have followed right here in these United States, not to mention South

The questionable sincerity of CBS’s Stephen Colbert’s devout Catholicism was on display for the second straight night as The Late Show host welcomed actress Cynthia Erivo to hype her upcoming role as Jesus, telling her that her casting as the “first woman to play Jesus in a major production, long overdue.”
Colbert began, “One of my favorite musicals of all time is Jesus Christ Superstar. I love that—and I'm so excited that in August you're going to be playing Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. At the Hollywood Bowl. Apparently, the Hollywood Bowl saw all the criticism Netflix got for rumors it is considering casting Meryl Streep as Aslan, C.S. Lewis’s

On January 19, 2025, Leonard Peltier — convicted for his role in the execution-style murders of FBI Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams — was granted clemency by President Joe Biden. The commutation, issued in the final hours of Biden's presidency, blindsided the law enforcement community and reignited long-standing wounds within the FBI family. But as raw as that moment felt, time has brought a new perspective, and more troubling questions.
Peltier was convicted in 1977 for his involvement in the brutal ambush and murder of two young FBI agents on the Pine Ridge Reservation. He did not act alone, but he was held accountable

I commented yesterday on the Minnesota state girls’ softball tournament with reference to Bill Shipley’s column “How One Young Man Altered The Landscape of Girls’ High School Softball In Minnesota.” John added: “It has been reported that when Charles Rothenberger was nine years old, his mother had his birth certificate altered to change his name to Marissa and his sex from male to female. As far as I have seen, no reporter has asked whether he has undergone surgery or chemical treatment. Nor has it been reported whether Marissa showers with the girls. In any event, Rothenberger grew into a strapping six-footer with a fast ball that the girls can’t

China doesn't have the best track record when it comes to batteries for things like electric cars and scooters. In fact, some of these Chinese lithium batteries have an unpleasant tendency to become explodey. Granted, this is a problem with batteries like this in general, but China's quality control standards in general are, shall we say, not the greatest. From steel to batteries, China just doesn't quite measure up.
Case in point: Now a ship carrying 3,000 cars from China to Mexico, 800 of them electric vehicles, is off the coast of Alaska, abandoned, burning, and spewing toxic smoke. How "green" is that?

As the Trump administration continues to enact the will of the voters by tightening the borders that the Biden administration opened wide to import millions of illegals to vote Democrat, panicked Left-wing media propagandists desperately try to prop up their narrative that the President is a cruel, xenophobic dictator.
Case in point: the Chicago Tribune posted today a maudlin, 1300-word profile of an immigrant worried about her legal status, called “‘I’m really not safe’: A Venezuelan poet’s fight to stay and write in the US.”
Oriette D’Angelo, 34, “came to Chicago on a student visa over a decade ago, seeking professional opportunities

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is back in the public eye, complaining about her time in the White House in a new book about fashion in which she whines about how people constantly "commented on her looks."
A press release from Penguin Random House about Obama's book "The Look" from the Crown Publishing Group announced that it "is a stunning journey through Michelle Obama's style evolution, in her own words for the first time. In this celebration of style, from the moment she entered the public eye during her husband's U.S. Senate campaign through her time as the first Black First Lady and today as one of this

The civil rights laws prohibit discrimination in employment and education on the basis of race, sex, etc. But there has long been a question whether those laws protect only various minorities, or whether they can be invoked on behalf of a member of a “majority.” While the laws by their terms are race- and sex-neutral, and the Supreme Court has never suggested that “reverse discrimination” is somehow legal, the reality is that over the last 50 years, a great deal of discrimination has been directed against non-minority members–the large majority of it, in fact–under the rubrics of affirmative action and DEI.
Today the Supreme Court decided a case

A cargo ship carrying 3,000 cars, including 800 electric vehicles, caught fire off the coast of Alaska and continues to burn. The Coast Guard says that all 22 crew members escaped the ship and were picked up by two nearby freighters.
The ship, a Liberian-registered car-carrier named "Morning Midas," was on its way to Lázaro Cárdenas, Mexico, from Yantai, China, having left on May 26.
It appears the fire may have started in one or more of the lithium-ion batteries that power the EVs. What's certain is that the Coast Guard is going to let the ship burn, since trying to put out a lithium-ion fire is nearly futile.
