Leftist Prime Minister Mark Carney might not be as prissy and preposterous as his predecessor, Justin Trudeau, but he is just as tyrannical. He’s told Canadian companies that there will be penalties for those that don’t conduct business in the way he wants them to. We don’t think he’s building gulags in Nunavut for refusenik executives, but we see the hammer and sickle he’s trying to hide behind his back. If you want an accurate gauge of future economic conditions, look no further than Paul “Nobel-Prize-Winning-Economist” Krugman. He has a solid record of being exactly wrong, as the above quotations show.
So, the fact that he is now predicting stagflation should give everyone a boost of confidence that we are headed for a second Trump boom.
Krugman’s new prediction comes, in fact, just as signs are looking up.
The stock market is back in positive territory since President Donald Trump took office, and is up 7% compared with a year ago.

They’re cutting health care for the poor to pay for tax cuts for the rich! Millions will lose coverage! The disabled will suffer! Oh, the humanity!

The Economist reports that “internal modeling” at the U.N. “suggests that the year-end cash deficit will, without cuts, probably blow out to $1.1 billion, leaving it “without money to pay salaries and suppliers by September.”
Apparently “some members are paying their bills late and others not at all” and it is the U.S. and China that “are pushing it to the brink of financial collapse.”

Many pro-Israel people I know, both Jewish and non-Jewish, are deeply worried about Trump’s current Middle East positions. He’s marginalizing Israel in negotiations with Saudi Arabia, accepting on the government’s behalf a luxury plane from double-dealing Qatar, and handing money to the goons in Syria. At the same time, he’s seemingly freezing out Israel, to the great consternation of Israel and its supporters.
So, what gives? Having read Charles Lipson’s superb analysis of the problems in dealing with an almost nuclear Iran, and how Biden created this monster, I suspect that “what gives” may be Trump trying an out-of-the-box approach to isolating Iran long enough for his economic policies
Disgraced former FBI Director, James Comey, mysteriously found seashells on his beach walk listing the numbers, “8647,” which to any half-aware person means, “Assassinate President Trump.” Comey posted on Instagram, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk…” and then after push back, he removed it and posted an imbecilic excuse stating, “I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at approximately 9:08 pm, members of the Metropolitan Police Department's (MPD) First District were dispatched to investigate a shooting at the intersection of 3rd and F Streets, Northwest, Washington D.C. Upon the officers arriving at the scene, the officers observed Decedent-1 and Decedent-2 suffering from gunshot wounds.
The affidavit identifies Decedent-1 as Sarah Milgrim and Decedent-2 as Yaron Lischinsky.
The Senate has voted to overturn the electric vehicle mandate in the state of California. This is going to cause some major anger and anxiety among the climate change activist community.
The EV mandate was one of the last things Joe Biden signed before leaving office. You may recall a last minute push by Biden’s team to advance as much climate change related legislation as they could during his final weeks in office.
The resolution to overturn the mandate passed along party lines with one Democrat senator voting for it as well.
