Why the Democrats Are Losing

Everyone is piling on Jake Tapper these days (including me). But sometimes he makes sense: Tapper and his Original Sin co-author Alex Thompson joined Scott Galloway on The Prof G Pod on Thursday, and Tapper at one point recounted how a left-leaning podcaster made a racism jab about his son after Tapper revealed he wanted to go into law enforcement. “My son is now 15 years old, and he’s a gamer. He’s a football fan, starting linebacker on his varsity football team. The Democratic Party has no way of communicating with him. They have no entree into his world,” Tapper said during a discussion on the Democratic Party’s struggles

I agree with this article. I used to respect Tapper many years ago. It is nice to see he "gets" it about how horrible the dems are, but he still totally provided cover for the Biden's on multiple levels. That says to me, I will never trust him again.

Tapper doesn't seem to realize he's part of the problem and what the dem party has become. FTA - "Criticize him all you like, but Tapper has done work that raises him well above the average brain-dead left-wing journalist. Tapper is no better than the other leftist journalists. He's trying to play us to our faces by pretending he and others were duped. And make money off us. Get outta here. Business as usual, author John, so I will continue to criticize him and will believe who he's shown himself to be lately, not somewhere in his past when he did something right.

Before you find out why Democrats are losing you must first look into why they were winning (or were obtaining winning results). There are of course many reasons. But four stand out - deceit, jealousy and fraud and intimidation. The phenomenon called Trump (aided and enhanced by Musk) has struck at the heart of all of them. That is why their fellow travelers - the Left Media are suffering a similar fate.

People don't usually change their way of thinking on the spot. The fact that Tapper got a taste of the disdain the left has been lobbing at Middle America since President Trump's first election is a good thing. Perhaps over time he will begin to understand how it feels to be a law abiding American living in an environment where democrat politicians and media talking heads feel entitled to dehumanize President Trump and his supporters as deplorable, white nationalist racist bigots with no redeeming value. That is sick. Americans who want their children to grow up in safe communities without imported criminals being allowed to stay on our streets are NORMAL. Radical politicians who demand the sexual humiliation of American females, by demanding they share locker rooms and showers with naked men claiming to be women, are not normal. They are bullies, and it's clear to the American people democrats are not advocates for normal people.

The problem I have with the media, including Tapper, is that they are highly disqualified for their jobs because they lack an interest and willingness to explore beyond their opinions. When you see Biden, the President, wandering around lost on a stage and you don't start to worry and wonder if this man is capable of leading the nation, you are NOT a reporter. Now, if Biden had been a regular guy, you could, perhaps, give him the acceptance to age gracefully. But the President is far from a regular guy. And political reporters aren't just neighbors. They all have an important job to do and they simply are NOT doing it and they don't seem to want to.

I have no interest in anything Tapper has to say.. He's a pathological liar Are Democrats losing? They seem to be within a hair of having a majority on each house of Congress, and they still own every institution in the US, every school, every University. We are a long way from destroying the Democrats, and the Republican Party shows no interest in joining the fight. They're so accustomed to surrender they wouldn't know how. And how is it that we are allowing black-robed tyrants to run the country now that "Doctor" Jill is out of the White House? No one voted for judges to run the country. .I thought Trump won the election, not the District Court judges. .

Today is the birthday of Minnesota native son Bob Dylan. He turns the ripe old age of 84. It’s not dark yet, but it’s getting there. I want to celebrate him as long we’re both still around to enjoy the occasion. He is a remarkable artist, self-invented, deep in the American grain. A few years back I visited Dylan’s old home at 2425 7th Avenue East in Hibbing. The house is a small two-story residence with a one-car attached garage on the side. The house is exactly two blocks from Hibbing High School, Dylan’s alma mater. A Dylan fan must be somewhere in the chain of title. At the time

Many pro-Israel people I know, both Jewish and non-Jewish, are deeply worried about Trump’s current Middle East positions. He’s marginalizing Israel in negotiations with Saudi Arabia, accepting on the government’s behalf a luxury plane from double-dealing Qatar, and handing money to the goons in Syria. At the same time, he’s seemingly freezing out Israel, to the great consternation of Israel and its supporters. So, what gives? Having read Charles Lipson’s superb analysis of the problems in dealing with an almost nuclear Iran, and how Biden created this monster, I suspect that “what gives” may be Trump trying an out-of-the-box approach to isolating Iran long enough for his economic policies

During a blistering Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) was visibly floored after Energy Secretary Christopher Wright dropped a bombshell: the Department of Energy handed out a staggering $93 billion in loans and commitments during the final 76 days of the Biden administration, a figure that more than doubled the loan total from the previous 15 years combined. Kennedy, in classic fashion, drilled in with precision. “The 76-day period you’re talking about, that’s the period between the time that President Trump was elected and President Biden left office. Is that right?” “That is correct,” Wright confirmed. Kennedy didn’t mince words

But I would argue that never has a larger collection of absolute idiots assembled to oppose an American leader, and for that reason alone, Donald J. Trump is probably a genius. Left-wing media very much wants President Donald Trump to have dementia. At first, they began peddling this narrative to distract from former President Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline. Now, they are likely using it for a similar reason. The Insider published a so-called “investigation” into Trump’s supposed cognitive issues during his second term. It enlisted several mental health professionals to support their narrative. Dr. Bandy Lee, formerly of Yale University, claimed the president is showing clear signs of early dementia. These signs include reduced vocabulary, incoherence, impulsivity, and “paraphasias,”

He was the face behind the infamous "hockey stick" graph, a man lauded by progressives, featured in Al Gore's documentary, and embraced by a media eager to label skeptics as dangerous deniers. But the courtroom, as it turns out, is no place for manufactured myths or moral grandstanding. A Washington, D.C. court just handed Mann a bruising legal defeat. After more than a decade of litigation, he has been ordered to pay over $1 million in attorney's fees to the very people he accused of defamation:

Coupled with the glacial pace of U.S. talks with Iran on its nuclear program, and the state of readiness of Israeli strike forces, some analysts have concluded that Israel is prepared to strike Iranian nuclear facilities in a matter of days. The impasse in nuclear talks with Iran is "irreconcilable," according to the Israelis.

The longer Michael Mann maintains his shameful litigation over a blog post that appeared in NR over a decade ago, the more he loses. A judge has now ordered Mann to pay $477,350.80 in legal fees to the Competitive Enterprise Institute and Rand Simberg. This comes on top of $530,820.21 that Mann has been ordered to pay National Review. It boggles the mind that, 13 years after launching a lawsuit he hoped would “ruin” NR, Mann now owes us and our friends more than $1 million, but we warned him not to go down this route in the first place.
