Gov. Tim Walz, the Minnesota National Guard, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, and Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt have reportedly all been briefed on preparations for potential riots if former police officer Derek Chauvin is granted a presidential pardon. Chauvin, of course, was the officer filmed kneeling on drug addict George Floyd during his fatal interaction with police. His death caused nationwide deadly Black Lives Matter riots throughout the summer of 2020.

Will they be as prepared as they were for the St George Floyd peaceful but fiery protests? Hopefully Tim Walz wife will get to smell the burning tires again to remind her of democracy.

If would be the right thing to do, but the story is a nothing burger. It even says that there is no indication that such a pardon is in the works. Walz and Ellison are trying to look competent because more Minnesota fraud under their "watch" is being revealed.

The president has no power to pardon anyone for convictions of violation of state law, which murder is unless it's on a federal reservation, etc. Furthermore, If Chauvin were pardoned, he would have to be taken by armed motorcade directly to an airport and flown out of the country or his life would be worth nothing.

Tampon Tim will be the one leading the rioters. There is something about him that reminds me of Jeffrey Dahmer, the BTK killer, just a really creepy kind of vibe that's just repulsive. Oh, and Chauvin is INNOCENT. That idiot Floyd had enough drugs in his system to bring down a charging rhino.

I was in MN for ten days visiting family through the George Floyd arrest and death by fentanyl. When they first put him in the patrol car, his mouth was open and he had a white substance on his tongue. A minute or two later, when they had him on the ground he was yelling...." I can't breathe." Well, you can't yell or say a word if you can't breathe. And because of that criminal being reported as dying from a drug overdose, they swept up all of the Kangaroo dropping at the local Kangaroo court and sent an innocent police officer to prison while the dirtbag Floyd, died of a drug overdose. This is the facts from the Medical Examiner for Hennepin County, MN. And is probably not a Trump or MAGA supporter. And there were several well dressed hoodlums with an ear piece walking down Lake Street swinging a metal rod smashing windows as he strolled down Lake St. That too was seen on the local news feeds. And Lake St. still look like Gaza on a good day in 2025. MSgt USAF (ret)

Since they don't have riots, maybe friendly BBQs in the middle of the night, why would he need the National Guard? Trump should hold off until they are sent home. Put a little egg on the Governors face.

Poster #6 is correct. A presidential pardon is not in the works because he was not convicted of a federal crime. Chauvin deserves a new trial. This time, the original autopsy results should hold, and Chauvin's own body cam should be allowed. Also the chief who perjured herself by saying the hold wasn't taught or allowed in the MSP police department should not be allowed to testify. In her place, Chauvin's colleagues should testify and they should show the photo/video evidence showing the training he received for this hold. This was such a travesty of justice. I'm not making any claims on Derek Chauvin's personality or character. Regardless of any other complaints on him,, he deserves a fair trial. And the MSP mayor, city council, DA, and Governor ought to be run out of the state. Ramona (the Pest)

It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of any kind, so I took the post down.” What a deranged idiot! Judge James C. Ho of the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has given voice to what many of us have seen developing over the recent past with the present make-up of the Supreme Court — a not-so-subtle dislike of President Trump, to put it mildly, and an inexplicable tendency to bend over backwards to give members of designated terrorist groups such as Tren de Aragua the benefit of every conceivable doubt. The case of AARP v. Trump dealt with one of the many attempts to secure via forum-shopping that which the far left could never achieve at the ballot box:

As you’ve no doubt heard, when South Africa’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa, appeared in the White House yesterday, President Trump challenged him on the fact that South Africa’s white farmers are being targeted with a new land confiscation law, and are also the victims of targeted attacks, another layer of hazard in a land rife with violent crime. It’s for this reason that Trump gave visas to a paltry 58 white South Africans, sending the Democrats—the same ones who’ve been complacent as upwards of 32 million illegal aliens breached our borders—into paroxysms of race-based rage.

Ed Martin’s nomination to serve as DC Attorney was nuked by Republican Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC). He was in office on an interim basis. Trump selected Jeanine Pirro to replace Martin, who is now a pardon attorney and helming the Department of Justice’s weaponization task force. Martin is looking at Biden’s pardons, specifically the ones issued toward the end of his presidency. They might not be legal. It comes off allegations that Biden aides might have illegally used the autopen. President Trump has asked who was behind the autopen since it’s become clear that Joe Biden was not mentally cogent enough to know what was going on (via The Hill):

If Democrats in Vacationland thought the censure of Rep. Laurel Libby would put an end to the education policy debate surrounding Title IX—and the participation of biological men in women’s sports—they’ve misread the moment, misread federal law, and badly misread their voters. What was meant to silence dissent has only amplified it. What was supposed to end the debate has cracked it wide open. In March, I wrote about how Democrats’ schizophrenic treatment of women’s sports—both existential and irrelevant, depending on the news cycle—was a political liability that helped cost them the 2024 election. Today, in Maine, that liability is becoming a full-blown revolt.

Megyn Kelly was tough but fair. It was a reckoning that was long overdue for an industry that did work to cover up Joe Biden’s apparent health issues. The mental health scheme was something we’ve been saying for years. A minor fall—okay? But the incidents where Joe Biden exhibited signs of aging, dementia, and a degrading memory are too numerous. Something was wrong. We were right, and the legacy press was wrong. This is often the case, but this one was the equivalent of no one noticing the elephant in the room. Ah, Jeffrey Epstein. We finally have an official statement from our own side, and it contradicts every last thing our own side has believed now for years. Let’s all approach this analytically. I would be willing to bet that no one reading this right now was there in that jail cell. No one reading right now was on the island, on the plane, or anywhere else relevant to the case. We have secondhand knowledge at best. It is easy to believe a conspiracy theory. It is hard to admit it if you are wrong. Do I think serious crimes were committed? Yes.

Seemed credible at the time. Seems more credible now. Here’s how Amazon describes his non-fiction book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership: In his book, former FBI director James Comey shares his never-before-told experiences from some of the highest-stakes situations of his career in the past two decades of American government, exploring what good, ethical leadership looks like, and how it drives sound decisions.

State media said the the 5,000-ton ship, which had been due to enter service next year, is designed to carry weapons systems including nuclear-capable ballistic and cruise missiles.
