A few days ago, a clip with Michelle Obama from her podcast 'IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson' raised a few eyebrows.
Michelle says the following to an unseen individual:
"You're being a role model for dealing with a child that's transgender... That warms my heart, particularly as a black man."
Was this an inadvertent confession of what some have always claimed?
But before the word 'scandal' could be pronounced, the community notes on X revealed the facts. Michelle Obama was talking to actor Marlon Wayans, and her following is the entire question:
"And, you know, that warms my heart. Particularly as a Black man, um, you know,
I once heard a comic say, “Hitler – a man widely known for liking large dogs and small children – wasn’t really evil. He just had a bad day. Sure, it lasted twelve years and caused twenty million deaths, but it was basically just a bad day.” Which is, of course, pure crap, and even if it was funny (I didn’t laugh), everybody knew Adolf Hitler was a monster with a Charlie Chaplin moustache.
Unfortunately, today, the Dem Progressives (pronounced “Damn Progressives,” but you already knew that), with nothing both real and bad to say about President Trump, have just decided to call him 'Hitler.'

A cardinal symptom of TDS is the characterization of Trump as Adolf Hitler and a Nazi. The left, not noticeably given to introspection or critical thinking, obviously fails to recognize its own Nazism. A fundamental tenet of Nazism is that all power be vested in the state. Even after the loss of the Harris-Walz ticket last November, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) continues to find himself making headlines. Last week, he dared to still go after Elon Musk, even after a district attorney in his state, Mary Moriarty, is seeking diversion rather than criminal charges for a state employee who allegedly caused over $20,000 in damages to six Teslas, which is a felony. Walz also ranted and raved against President Donald Trump at his state of the state address that same week. During memorable moments he seemed particularly proud of, Walz talked about freedom.

Has the U.S. grown ashamed of its military victories? There are reasons to believe this is true. In April 1988, the U.S. Navy effectively destroyed the Iranian navy following a mine attack on the destroyer USS Roberts. The Navy sank an Iranian frigate, four armed speedboats, blew up two armed oil platforms, and damaged another frigate in one of the shortest and most successful campaigns of the postwar period. Yet even today, there is no actual name attached to the engagement. It’s known simply as “Operation Praying Mantis,” not the obvious “Battle of the Persian Gulf.”

How about talking about something other than district judges and injunctions? Yes, I’m angry about that, too. But today let’s remember one spring day in Dodger Stadium,* when they used to play day games. We remember Rick Monday, a pretty good outfielder who played for the A’s, Cubs, and Dodgers. His best years were with the Cubs (1972–76), when he hit 106 home runs and was a very tough out. Later he moved to the L.A. Dodgers and hit a 9th-inning home run to beat Montreal in the 1981 NLCS.
However, his greatest baseball moment had nothing to do with hits or home runs.
Here at American Thinker, we predicted that AOC is a real possibility as the 2028 Democrat party presidential candidate. Yesterday, AOC made it plain that she thinks so, too. AOC’s appeal to the left is obvious: She’s female, glib, telegenic, well-recognized, vaguely Hispanic, antisemitic, and a truly leftist ideologue. Bernie Sanders rightly sees her as the bridge between his old-fashioned class warfare and the new multi-culti warfare, both vehicles for the Marxist overthrow of the West. That’s why the two of them have been appearing in venues across America to rally the true believers.
Hillary Clinton does not have a reputation for honesty. Indeed, ever since she burst onto the political scene, the one guarantee with Hillary was that you couldn’t trust her. Whole articles have been published about the whoppers she’s told over the decades (see, e.g., here and here). One thing, though, that’s always seemed to be true is her claim to have graduated from Yale Law School. After hearing her latest pronouncement, though, I must admit to having my doubts about that statement, too. The center-left in the United States is no longer a viable political force. Once among the largest segments in the political spectrum, it meekly surrendered to and has been essentially absorbed by the American Marxists. This was a realignment almost entirely due to the breathtaking level of gullibility and ignorance of ostensibly well-educated self-described liberals.
Over the years, this naïveté and obliviousness have been a source of amusement and head-shaking incredulity. However, these traits have now become so dominant among an ever-growing segment within American society that the future of this nation as a prosperous and freedom-loving country is in serious jeopardy.
If history is any indication, justice will not be blind—Karmelo Anthony is O.J. Simpson all over again.
At this point, Karmelo Anthony’s family has raised more than $450,000 on the back of his crime (which reminds me to never use GiveSendGo again). They’re praising him, acting like he’s a victim who suffering under an unjust legal system: A quick scroll through the fundraiser’s comments reveals that a sizable portion of the black community agrees, saying this is what the “colonizers” get—let’s be honest, they didn’t know or use that term until the white leftist academics started propagandizing with it—and noting that the FBA is behind him “no matter what.”

The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement.
These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win.
The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.

It wasn’t a secret: Fetterman’s brain trauma was on full display during his horrendous debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, where he stammered, stuttered, and (repeatedly) lost his train of thought.
Fetterman won anyway, beating Oz by nearly 5% points, helping the Democrats flip the only Senate seat of the 2022 midterms, giving the Donkeys control of the Senate for the first time since 2015.

Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In" was regular viewing in my home, and I grew up watching the ebullient personality and quick wit of comedienne Ruth Buzzi. One of her main characters on the show was Gladys Ormphby, the spinster who used her handbag with effective accuracy. [Video] (Snip) On Friday, Buzzi's death was announced. After her long battle with Alzheimer's, the complications from the disease finally took their toll. Buzzi was 88 years old.

Florida adults who received Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine were more likely to die following vaccination than Moderna COVID-19 recipients, according to a new preprint study that was co-authored by Florida’s top health official.
Dr. Joseph Ladapo, Florida’s surgeon general, and other researchers identified nearly 9.2 million Florida adults not living in institutions who received at least two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine less than six weeks apart between Dec. 18, 2020, and Aug. 31, 2021.
