Earlier this month, Hunter Biden dropped his lawsuit against two IRS whistleblowers who alleged there had been a cover-up in former President Biden’s DOJ to block a tax fraud investigation into the former President’s son. However, the financial sector controversies Hunter has incited, particularly with his business dealings in China, remain an ongoing topic of interest and allegedly extend far deeper than tax fraud. For example, Breitbart News has learned that PAX Global Technology Limited., a Chinese technology company under federal investigation for suspicious data transmissions and potential cyberattacks, is linked through ownership structures to Che Feng — a Chinese financier closely tied to Hunter Biden.

university report published last month shows that more than half of those who identify as being left of center on the political spectrum believe assassinating President Donald Trump would be justified. This didn’t come about organically. It’s the product of a vicious campaign waged by the Democratic Party-mainstream media axis.
According to a Rutgers Social Perception Lab-Network Contagion Research Institute brief, 55.2% of Americans on the left “reported that if someone murdered Donald Trump, they would be at least somewhat justified.” Overall, 38.5% hold the same belief.
Trump, who has survived a pair of assassination attempts (one of which was celebrated), is not the only legitimate target, say many Americans.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who represented Donald Trump during his 2024 criminal trial, has been appointed acting librarian of Congress, the Justice Department said Monday. Blanche replaces longtime librarian Carla Hayden, whom the White House fired last week amid criticism from conservatives that she was advancing a “woke” agenda.
The Associated Press obtained an internal memo from Robert Randolph Newlen, who had been serving as acting librarian, saying that Congress was “engaged” with the White House about Blanche’s appointment and that the library had not yet “received direction from Congress about how to move forward.”

President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is terminating a quasi-amnesty program for tens of thousands of migrants from Afghanistan brought to the United States by former President Joe Biden’s administration.
On Monday, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced that Temporary Protected Status (TPS) would be terminated for Afghanistan. In 2022, after Biden had imported nearly 100,000 Afghans to the United States in the largest resettlement operation out of one country in American history, his administration offered TPS to about 75,000 Afghans, ensuring they could remain in the U.S. and secure work permits.

It's as if God has a sense of humor.
Imagine getting elected to the 2,000-year-old Chair of St. Peter. You'd become the head of state of an unbroken succession of popes as well as the leader of the world's largest religion, one watched and followed closely by others, every word you said dissected closely. Your blessings would be sought, you'd deliver the global pieties, you'd avoid grubby politics, focusing on the tenets of your faith.
But then, you have these guys behind you, your two brothers, at least one of whom loves himself some Trump.

Will Americans soon witness President Trump’s issuance of an executive order suspending habeas corpus for criminal aliens and American enemies who have participated in an invasion against the United States, and who have chosen to remain in our country against the rule of law?
The writ of habeas corpus goes back to 500 B.C. and is a legal action which allows a prisoner to challenge the authority of the jailer to continue holding him. The legal term habeas corpus literally means “you should have the body” in Latin. This legal privilege allows incarcerated citizens to seek relief from unlawful confinement as outlined in the Suspension Clause of the U.S. Constitution:

A veteran prosecutor who used to work in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office is seeking to topple current DA Alvin Bragg.
Diana Florence said she will run on an independent “Safer Manhattan” ballot line against Democrat incumbent Bragg — a longshot bid in the heavily Democratic borough.
She ripped Bragg over his infamous “Day One memo” in January 2022 that ordered his prosecutors to stop seeking prison sentences for hordes of criminals and to downgrade felony charges in cases including armed robberies and drug dealing.

As Matt writes nearby, on Sunday, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced a complete economic and trade reset with China that is aimed at bridging a lopsided $1.2 trillion trade deficit with the U.S. Details of the new agreement are promised on Monday, but let's take a look at the abundant differences we can see between Joe Biden's and Donald Trump's approaches with China.
While people love to tout Trump's "art of the deal" transactional dealmaking with super powers, it was actually Joe Biden who leveraged his job as vice president and then as president to personally enrich his son's "business" and, by extension, his own personal bottom line.

I am happy to announce that Edan Alexander, an American citizen who has been held hostage since October 2023, is coming home to his family,” Trump said. “I am grateful to all those involved in making this monumental news happen. This was a step taken in good faith towards the United States and the efforts of the mediators — Qatar and Egypt — to put an end to this very brutal war and return ALL living hostages and remains to their loved ones.

As the New York City mayoral contest heats up, public safety remains voters’ top concern — and embattled Mayor Eric Adams’ main talking point.
After all, if there’s one success that Adams can point to in his reelection bid, it’s the recent sharp declines in serious crime throughout the city under his new (and popular) police commissioner, Jessica Tisch.
The first quarter of 2025 saw significant drops in both murders (by 34%) and shootings (by 23%), for example.
So you can expect Adams’ critics and opponents to try to poke holes in his record.

The Argentine Supreme Court has found documentation associated with the Nazi regime among its archives including propaganda material that was used to spread Adolf Hitler’s ideology in the South American nation, a judicial authority from the court told The Associated Press on Sunday.
The court came across the material when preparing for the creation of a museum with its historical documents, the judicial authority said. The official requested anonymity due to internal policies.
Among the documents, they found postcards, photographs, and propaganda material from the German regime.

World shares and U.S. futures surged Monday after the U.S. and China announced they were suspending for 90 days most of the sharp tariff hikes each has imposed since U.S. President Donald Trump began escalating his trade war.
A joint statement said that for a 90-day period, the U.S. will cut tariffs on Chinese goods to 30% from as high as 145%. China said its tariffs on U.S. goods will fall to 10% from 125%.
The agreement to allow time for more talks followed weekend negotiations in Geneva, Switzerland, that the U.S. side said had made “ substantial progress.”
