Van Jones Gets a Shock As Panel of Black

A panel of black voters spoke with CNN political analyst Van Jones and thoroughly eviscerated any theories about there being some regret when it comes to Trump supporters. The three individuals, each defined as not supporting the President before ultimately voting for him, had little hesitation when Jones asked if they were currently having second thoughts. Their comments show the media's coverage of 'buyer's regret' has been little more than wishcasting on their part. Jones presented each individual with a simple 'yes or no' question: Would you vote for Trump all over again?

From the article: "Equally fascinating in this segment is what drew these particular Trump voters to him in the first place. The younger gentleman, for example, brought up Trump's authenticity, which he described very candidly. "I mean, part of it is he's an a**hole," he told Jones. "I like authenticity. Another paragraph from the article: ""It's interesting there," Cooper sneers. "Most of the information that they are getting - or misinformation they may be getting - is coming from online." I am bringing the two paragraphs together for my comment. The last paragraph refers to Anderson Cooper. Obviously someone is buying into the "Donald Trump is mean" media smear. Yes, Donald Trump is very direct and can be brusque but his heart is for people and this country. He will go to great lengths to defend his character and who can argue with those traits? Not me. In a nutshell, it really is the Greatest Commandment. Love God with all your heart, mind and soul AND love your neighbor as yourself.

The Dems don't get it. Biden's team caused massive inflation, opened the borders to people other countries did not want, and spent like drunken sailors, and the Dems can't understand why the voters are not getting on the Orange Man Bad train.

The Black people being interviewed by Jones were not poor ghetto Blacks who are dependent upon leftist and progressive Democrat welfare largess., The Black people interviewed by Jones, instead appeared to be educated Black people who are out earning their livings while employed in the US economy like most other Americans. Obviously they were happy to have a successful businessman and his business oriented crew in the White House.

You just cannot make some things up, and this just happens to be one of those stories. Back in 2021, X and Tesla owner Elon Musk expressed his hope that Starbase, the home of the facility where his SpaceX shoots off rockets into Texas skies, would become its own city. Now, it appears that's exactly what's about to happen, after an election on incorporation was held in Cameron County, Texas, on Saturday: The city at the southern tip of Texas near the Mexico border is only about 1.5 square miles (3.9 square kilometers), crisscrossed by a few roads and dappled with airstream trailers and modest midcentury homes.

Former Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva revealed that he was leaving the Democrat Party, after being a registered Democrat for more than 40 years, and joining the Republican Party. “As of today, I’m leaving the party of paid protests, purple hair, and pronouns, and joining the party of faith, family, and freedom,” Villanueva said in a video posted to X. Breitbart News previously reported that Villanueva, a former Democrat who was elected to serve as the sheriff of Los Angeles County in 2018, lost his re-election campaign in November 2022 to Robert Luna, the former police chief of Long Beach.

“Kindness is the beginning of cruelty.” —Frank Herbert Three years ago, the Democratic Party nominated John Fetterman to the Senate, despite his significant health problems. It wasn’t a secret: Fetterman’s brain trauma was on full display during his horrendous debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, where he stammered, stuttered, and (repeatedly) lost his train of thought. Fetterman won anyway, beating Oz by nearly 5% points, helping the Democrats flip the only Senate seat of the 2022 midterms, giving the Donkeys control of the Senate for the first time since 2015. It was an important election — and a Faustian bargain:

I was in the room when Warren Buffett said he would step down as CEO at the end of this year, marking the end of a remarkable tenure that has lasted nearly six decades. The legendary investor and Berkshire Hathaway boss made the surprise announcement in the closing minutes of a nearly five-hour-long Q&A on Saturday at his company's annual meeting in Omaha. The packed stadium was stunned into silence. The longest-serving S&P 500 CEO, who took the top job in 1970 and built Berkshire from a failing textile company into a $1 trillion company known around the world, was stepping down.

Washington — A federal judge ruled Friday that President Trump's executive order targeting the law firm Perkins Coie is unconstitutional and permanently blocked the administration from enforcing it. In a 102-page decision, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell ruled in favor of the firm and said Mr. Trump's directive that sought to punish it sent the message that "lawyers must stick to the party line, or else." "Using the powers of the federal government to target lawyers for their representation of clients and avowed progressive employment policies in an overt attempt to suppress and punish certain viewpoints, however, is contrary to the Constitution, which requires that the government respond to dissenting

In sum, banking on helping defeat Trump, the public-health establishment and media suppressed more credible options for dealing with a disease which was not life-threatening to most in order to promote a vaccine then in the works. The vaccine when it was developed and administered was not terribly effective and has itself caused substantial injury.

The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement. These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win. The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.
