President Donald Trump announced Friday that he will be revoking Harvard University’s tax-exempt status, a significant escalation in the administration’s ongoing campaign against the Ivy League’s crown jewel. “We are going to be taking away Harvard’s Tax Exempt Status. It’s what they deserve!” Trump posted on Truth Social. Trump did not offer specifics on the plan for removing Harvard’s tax exemption. Harvard is a nonprofit institution because of its educational mission, granting it access to certain tax benefits and deductions. Its endowment is $53.2 billion,

Hmmm, a $51Billion endowment fund taxed at just 5% would add $2.5B a year to Federal revenues for use in paying down our national debt that was the result of Democrat Congresspukes' spending addictions.

The Coup Against Sen. Fetterman Is Officially Underway 12 replies

“Kindness is the beginning of cruelty.” —Frank Herbert Three years ago, the Democratic Party nominated John Fetterman to the Senate, despite his significant health problems. It wasn’t a secret: Fetterman’s brain trauma was on full display during his horrendous debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, where he stammered, stuttered, and (repeatedly) lost his train of thought. Fetterman won anyway, beating Oz by nearly 5% points, helping the Democrats flip the only Senate seat of the 2022 midterms, giving the Donkeys control of the Senate for the first time since 2015. It was an important election — and a Faustian bargain:

I was in the room when Warren Buffett said he would step down as CEO at the end of this year, marking the end of a remarkable tenure that has lasted nearly six decades. The legendary investor and Berkshire Hathaway boss made the surprise announcement in the closing minutes of a nearly five-hour-long Q&A on Saturday at his company's annual meeting in Omaha. The packed stadium was stunned into silence. The longest-serving S&P 500 CEO, who took the top job in 1970 and built Berkshire from a failing textile company into a $1 trillion company known around the world, was stepping down.

A panel of black voters spoke with CNN political analyst Van Jones and thoroughly eviscerated any theories about there being some regret when it comes to Trump supporters. The three individuals, each defined as not supporting the President before ultimately voting for him, had little hesitation when Jones asked if they were currently having second thoughts. Their comments show the media's coverage of 'buyer's regret' has been little more than wishcasting on their part. Jones presented each individual with a simple 'yes or no' question: Would you vote for Trump all over again?

Washington — A federal judge ruled Friday that President Trump's executive order targeting the law firm Perkins Coie is unconstitutional and permanently blocked the administration from enforcing it. In a 102-page decision, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell ruled in favor of the firm and said Mr. Trump's directive that sought to punish it sent the message that "lawyers must stick to the party line, or else." "Using the powers of the federal government to target lawyers for their representation of clients and avowed progressive employment policies in an overt attempt to suppress and punish certain viewpoints, however, is contrary to the Constitution, which requires that the government respond to dissenting

The White House’s budget request raises military spending by 13 percent and Department of Homeland Security appropriations by nearly 65 percent to address defense and border security priorities, according to a White House outline of the funding request.

The S&P 500 gained 1.6% to extend its recent winning streak, and the Nasdaq added 1.8% following a spate of Big Tech earnings this week. President Donald Trump took to Truth Social following the jobs report, renewing his frequent calls for Fed Chair Jerome Powell to lower interest rates. “Just like I said, and we’re only in a TRANSITION STAGE, just getting started!!!” he said. “Consumers have been waiting for years to see pricing come down. NO INFLATION, THE FED SHOULD LOWER ITS RATE!!!”

Both my parents graduated from Harvard, as did one of my siblings. At the time of his admission, my father was admitted despite his Jewish heritage because at the time, the prestigious university was as fond of admitting Jews as it is of admitting Asians today. Harvard was WASP heaven then, and it is woke heaven now. Neither extreme is admirable, but on balance, the woke are miles worse than the WASPs. The WASPs were obsessed with protecting their social class, while the woke are convinced that the world would be a better place if only their class enemies were dead. Waltz was almost immediately announced as the new ambassador to the United Nations, and in an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Vance said that it should be considered a “promotion,” not retribution for the Signal brouhaha. He’s done his job, the VP said:

Jackson didn't mention President Trump by name in her comments Thursday, but said she was addressing “the elephant in the room,” likely referring to calls for impeachment of judges by him and others amid blocks on Trump's policies, Politico reported. “The attacks are not random. They seem designed to intimidate those of us who serve in this critical capacity,” Jackson said at a judges’ conference in Puerto Rico. “The threats and harassment are attacks on our democracy, on our system of government.

The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement. These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win. The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.
