Trump’s ace in the hole

Original Article

It’s the part of the Trump revolution you’re not hearing about, because it strikes fear into the nation’s socialist media, to the point that they are now churning out apocalyptic tales of woe loosely based on what’s happening to their industry. A few days ago, a piece pointed out that President Trump had upended the leftist ratchet. This is the tendency for the left to go hog wild when they grab power and push their socialist national agenda to the hilt. And then when things flip to the pro-freedom side, we can only bring the ball back to a certain degree.

Schumer's "worst one hundred days ever" are certainly making the rest of us smile. The talking points of the Leftist gloom and doomers are dying like weeds in an old garden as their reliable keywords keep getting destroyed.

Last summer, when Hillary asked, "Where are all the gatekeepers?" I knew the MSM was doomed. Simply put: They no longer control the narrative. For the Dems and the MSM, the control of the narrative is everything. It keeps the Dems in power, it keeps the hoaxes alive, like a juggler juggling dozens of plates in the air. Every day now, when the MSM throws another plate in the air, the hoax of the day is exposed, ridiculed, and tossed aside. Every Dem I've ever met is a control freak; their psyches be howling in rage and despair.

Parker's piece should be a Must Read. The gradual destruction of the msms' propaganda complex and its replacement with new media (Newsmax, Just The News, et al) represents a major political shift that will be permanent.

Why do you think the dems are in such disarray? Because they have been STUPID LIARS for a long time but used media and the Deep State to cover it up and push and alternate "truth". Now, when dems speak, almost immediately there is a truthful response from numerous sources that have more credibility than the imploding media and the hapless ping pong paddle dems. These alternate sources tend to seek the truth rather than be beholding to the Left. Most of the time, that favors Conservatives because they are more competent and truthful than the Left who have no good story to tell so they are just making idiotic things up, which becomes obvious almost as soon as they speak. Some dems have decided they have to jump ugly, because that has also worked in the past. But that was true because there wasn't honest conversation about what they were doing. Now there will be and the UGLY dems will probably find themselves in jail and looking really bad. You have to wonder how many dope slaps they will have to get before they figure out the game is VERY different now and all their old tricks WILL NOT WORK? And BTW, the reason the media find themselves in such dire straits is because Trump broke them. He called them out as "fake news", which was the truth, and they went into a death spiral in their efforts to get even with him. Trump also knew the dems were utterly dependant on the media, so they would crash and burn as well. And so they have.

Portugal’s caretaker government plans to expel some 18,000 foreigners living in the country without authorization, a minister said Saturday in the buildup to a national election. Minister of the Presidency António Leitão Amaro said the center-right government will issue approximately 18,000 notifications to people in the country illegally to leave. The minister said officials will begin next week by asking some 4,500 foreigners to leave voluntarily within 20 days. Portugal will hold an early general election on May 18. Prime Minister Luis Montenegro called the snap ballot in March after his minority government led by his conservative Social Democratic Party lost a confidence vote in Parliament and stood down.

New York Attorney General Letitia James said Saturday she plans to team up with other lefty AGs nationwide to sue the Trump administration’s Department of Health and Human Services over healthcare funding cuts. “The White House is threatening our way of life in so many ways, and I just want you to know that in the coming days we will be filing a lawsuit against [HHS],” revealed James at a National Action Network rally in Harlem. James cited as examples anticipated cuts in federal aid to the Head Start program that helps low-income kids ages five and under prepare for school,

The Trump administration scored a HUGE win on Saturday in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Not only did the court grant the administration's request for a stay pending appeal in several consolidated/related cases, but it set forth the framework that district courts should be adhering to in analyzing many of the cases currently pending before them regarding the administration's actions. Since President Donald Trump resumed office in January and began issuing a series of executive orders and actions aimed at dismantling and/or sizably reducing the size of the bureaucratic state, lawsuit after lawsuit has been filed against the administration in an effort to thwart his agenda.

My Jewish identity isn’t just something I talk about — it’s who I am. It's a part of my family's survival story: surviving the Holocaust, escaping Soviet oppression, and rebuilding a life in America with nothing but determination and faith. My grandparents lived through brutality that many today only read about. Their stories taught me early on that freedom is fragile — and that you have to fight to protect it. Now, as I prepare for college, I see antisemitism rising again in places that are supposed to be centers of learning and acceptance. According to the Anti-Defamation League, 2023 saw over 8,800 antisemitic incidents in the U.S.—

Rep. Elise Stefanik believes she’s “in the strongest position to defeat” Gov. Hochul and become the first Republican leader of New York state in nearly 20 years, as she inches closer to a 2026 challenge. In an exclusive interview with The Post, Stefanik (R-NY) confidently rattled off several “Day 1” priorities for a potential term — tax, education, crime, immigration and energy — before taking a shot at the unpopular liberal governor. “Unlike Kathy Hochul, who was defeated after one term in Congress, we have a record of winning — not just Republicans but winning independents and a fair percentage of Democrats,” she sniped.

Let’s get the big news out of the way: The economy shrank by 0.3% during the first quarter of 2025, a mild but not wholly unexpected drop blamed by nearly everyone on President Donald Trump’s tariff hikes. Is that the first step toward a recession, or, as Trump put it, just a result of the “Biden overhang”? First, let’s just note one big thing: The media can’t help but show its glaring bias against Trump even when it reports boring data, such as the barely negative GDP number. In case you didn’t get that quote, it was a play on the clueless remark (“Crisis? What Crisis”)

President Donald Trump on Friday released his budget proposals — slashing domestic spending to help lower the deficit while also allowing vital new investments in defense. The so-called “skinny” spending blueprint will guide the House and Senate in producing the “big, beautiful bill” settling tax policy as well as the contours of the federal budget for the next year. Calling the proposal “a bold blueprint that reflects the values of hardworking Americans and the commitment to American strength and prosperity,” House Speaker Mike Johnson praised Trump’s plan as ensuring that “every federal taxpayer dollar spent is used to serve the American people, not a bloated bureaucracy.”

Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome, and head of the Roman Catholic Church died Easter Monday morning and his funeral was attended by thousands of mourners and a few faux Catholics like the Bidens and Nancy Pelosi. Almost immediately after his death was announced, the media was swarmed with responses from Hollywood stars and other celebrities expressing their sympathy for the passing of this ‘beloved’ pontiff. Many other Catholics, conservative and fundamentalist, more likely silently thought, Ding, Dong, the pope is dead.” I, myself, do not believe that Pope Francis was an evil man,

Conservative Christians have flooded social media with support for Cardinal Robert Sarah to succeed the late Pope Francis because of his strong traditionalist stands on sexuality and church doctrine as well as his opposition to mass immigration and Islamism. Why It Matters The rising profile of the African cardinal, 79, comes at a time of ideological division within Catholicism, as the Church grapples with questions of modernity, sexual identity, and religious pluralism, and also as more right wing political movements in Europe and elsewhere have challenged what they see as the orthodoxy of a liberal global elite. Unlike Pope Francis—who often leaned into progressive stances on social justice and inclusion—

Am I going to have to spend another summer weaving my car around rude bicyclists who think they own the road? It is this second question I'm currently pondering, as I witnessed earlier in the day some poor sap driving a car, stuck behind a gaggle of inconsiderate male bicyclists (the rude ones are always men),

Like most of us, I suppose, the shock to our system and way of life during the government’s response to COVID-19 cannot easily be forgotten. It was our taste of ill-considered government tyranny, a public-health disaster. As more information about its origins and how the disease was handled is revealed, it always gets my attention. In sum, banking on helping defeat Trump, the public-health establishment and media suppressed more credible options for dealing with a disease which was not life-threatening to most in order to promote a vaccine then in the works. The vaccine when it was developed and administered was not terribly effective and has itself caused substantial injury.

“Kindness is the beginning of cruelty.” —Frank Herbert Three years ago, the Democratic Party nominated John Fetterman to the Senate, despite his significant health problems. It wasn’t a secret: Fetterman’s brain trauma was on full display during his horrendous debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, where he stammered, stuttered, and (repeatedly) lost his train of thought. Fetterman won anyway, beating Oz by nearly 5% points, helping the Democrats flip the only Senate seat of the 2022 midterms, giving the Donkeys control of the Senate for the first time since 2015. The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement. These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win. The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.
