Portugal’s caretaker government plans to expel some 18,000 foreigners living in the country without authorization, a minister said Saturday in the buildup to a national election. Minister of the Presidency António Leitão Amaro said the center-right government will issue approximately 18,000 notifications to people in the country illegally to leave. The minister said officials will begin next week by asking some 4,500 foreigners to leave voluntarily within 20 days. Portugal will hold an early general election on May 18. Prime Minister Luis Montenegro called the snap ballot in March after his minority government led by his conservative Social Democratic Party lost a confidence vote in Parliament and stood down.

Sounds like not everyone is enchanted with the liberal love affair with illegals leeching off their country. After years of ignoring important things like borders, immigration laws, and national identity, sounds like a few country's are waking up to the reality that illegal immigrants are a drag on the nation and contribute nothing. They mostly just take and change the host country into a version of where they came from.

That's how it's done. You can't allow a bunch of black-robed wankers interfere with the government if you want to keep your country. Announce the parasites' departure and then load them up and ship them off.

Surprised it took this long. Portugal does not have an economy like ours that has the capacity to absorb at least a limited amount of illegal immigration.

Portugal must not be saddled with 600+ crooked district judges, a supreme court that can't decide what to do about it and almost half of the not quite major party that would rather destroy Portugal than help the major party save it.

The Trump administration scored a HUGE win on Saturday in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Not only did the court grant the administration's request for a stay pending appeal in several consolidated/related cases, but it set forth the framework that district courts should be adhering to in analyzing many of the cases currently pending before them regarding the administration's actions. Since President Donald Trump resumed office in January and began issuing a series of executive orders and actions aimed at dismantling and/or sizably reducing the size of the bureaucratic state, lawsuit after lawsuit has been filed against the administration in an effort to thwart his agenda.

My Jewish identity isn’t just something I talk about — it’s who I am. It's a part of my family's survival story: surviving the Holocaust, escaping Soviet oppression, and rebuilding a life in America with nothing but determination and faith. My grandparents lived through brutality that many today only read about. Their stories taught me early on that freedom is fragile — and that you have to fight to protect it. Now, as I prepare for college, I see antisemitism rising again in places that are supposed to be centers of learning and acceptance. According to the Anti-Defamation League, 2023 saw over 8,800 antisemitic incidents in the U.S.—

In an exclusive interview with The Post, Stefanik (R-NY) confidently rattled off several “Day 1” priorities for a potential term — tax, education, crime, immigration and energy — before taking a shot at the unpopular liberal governor. “Unlike Kathy Hochul, who was defeated after one term in Congress, we have a record of winning — not just Republicans but winning independents and a fair percentage of Democrats,” she sniped.

Let’s get the big news out of the way: The economy shrank by 0.3% during the first quarter of 2025, a mild but not wholly unexpected drop blamed by nearly everyone on President Donald Trump’s tariff hikes. Is that the first step toward a recession, or, as Trump put it, just a result of the “Biden overhang”? First, let’s just note one big thing: The media can’t help but show its glaring bias against Trump even when it reports boring data, such as the barely negative GDP number. In case you didn’t get that quote, it was a play on the clueless remark (“Crisis? What Crisis”)

President Donald Trump on Friday released his budget proposals — slashing domestic spending to help lower the deficit while also allowing vital new investments in defense. The so-called “skinny” spending blueprint will guide the House and Senate in producing the “big, beautiful bill” settling tax policy as well as the contours of the federal budget for the next year. Calling the proposal “a bold blueprint that reflects the values of hardworking Americans and the commitment to American strength and prosperity,” House Speaker Mike Johnson praised Trump’s plan as ensuring that “every federal taxpayer dollar spent is used to serve the American people, not a bloated bureaucracy.”

It’s the part of the Trump revolution you’re not hearing about, because it strikes fear into the nation’s socialist media, to the point that they are now churning out apocalyptic tales of woe loosely based on what’s happening to their industry. A few days ago, a piece pointed out that President Trump had upended the leftist ratchet. This is the tendency for the left to go hog wild when they grab power and push their socialist national agenda to the hilt. And then when things flip to the pro-freedom side, we can only bring the ball back to a certain degree.

Conservative Christians have flooded social media with support for Cardinal Robert Sarah to succeed the late Pope Francis because of his strong traditionalist stands on sexuality and church doctrine as well as his opposition to mass immigration and Islamism. Why It Matters The rising profile of the African cardinal, 79, comes at a time of ideological division within Catholicism, as the Church grapples with questions of modernity, sexual identity, and religious pluralism, and also as more right wing political movements in Europe and elsewhere have challenged what they see as the orthodoxy of a liberal global elite. Unlike Pope Francis—who often leaned into progressive stances on social justice and inclusion—

TEL AVIV, Israel — Israel approved plans Monday to capture the entire Gaza Strip and to stay in the Palestinian territory for an unspecified amount of time, two Israeli officials said, a move that, if implemented, would vastly expand Israel’s operations there and likely draw fierce international opposition. Israeli Cabinet ministers approved the plan in an early morning vote, hours after the Israeli military chief said the army was calling up tens of thousands of reserve soldiers. The new plan, which the officials said was meant to help Israel achieve its war aims of defeating Hamas and freeing hostages held in Gaza, also calls for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians

common talking point trotted out to defend congressional Republicans’ failure to advance conservative priorities is that the party has slim majorities, and therefore, trying to pass anything outside of the usual “uniparty” slop is next to impossible. But if that’s true, why does the same dynamic exist in states where Republicans have much larger legislative majorities and control the governor’s mansion? On Wednesday, the GOP-controlled Texas House — which is run by liberal Republican Speaker Dustin Burrows — passed a bill that effectively seeks to criminalize the posting and distribution of certain altered media in political advertising.
