If you had told me just a few years ago that Michelle Obama would be a presidential candidate, I'd have said she was the most formidable opponent the Democratic Party could put up. Yet, as I sit here in May of 2025, I'm not even sure she'd survive a primary, much less be competitive in a general election.
Things have changed dramatically, and the spiral is continuing for Barack Obama's wife. Her new podcast has not only bombed in the ratings, but she's been using the platform to dish on her husband and call America racist while showing an astonishing amount of entitlement and lack

TEL AVIV, Israel — Israel approved plans Monday to capture the entire Gaza Strip and to stay in the Palestinian territory for an unspecified amount of time, two Israeli officials said, a move that, if implemented, would vastly expand Israel’s operations there and likely draw fierce international opposition.
Israeli Cabinet ministers approved the plan in an early morning vote, hours after the Israeli military chief said the army was calling up tens of thousands of reserve soldiers.
The new plan, which the officials said was meant to help Israel achieve its war aims of defeating Hamas and freeing hostages held in Gaza, also calls for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians

President Trump called on his administration to reopen and expand Alcatraz so authorities could send the “dregs of society” to the notorious California prison more than six decades after it closed.
The commander in chief announced Sunday that he was directing the Bureau of Prisons and other federal agencies to get the massive island facility off the San Francisco bay — which has long been the lore of Hollywood — back up and running again to lock away homegrown, repeat criminals.“For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering,”

Fox Business host Charles Payne tore into people taking advantage of the Biden administration’s decisions to defer or forgive student loans Monday, saying it was time to “pay your damn student loans.”
The Department of Education announced it would resume collections on delinquent student loans, ending a pause from the COVID-19 pandemic that the Biden administration sought to continue, The Hill reported. Payne expressed little sympathy for claims that forcing borrowers to repay student loans would cause them financial hardship.

Donald Trump has announced that he’s reopening Alcatraz as a federal prison for the worst of the worst in America. I couldn’t be more delighted, because it’s a wonderful idea at both practical and symbolic levels.
Trump made the announcement on Truth Social:It’s to be hoped that many of the new residents will be the same Tren de Aragua and MS-13 terrorists that the leftists insist remain on American soil.
The media grimly reported the news, although they hastened to add that it won’t be easy to turn the old site into a modern prison. AP is representative of this approach to reporting:

A savvy move to provide incentives in any given matter can be very effective. That's a fancy way of saying, "If you offer to pay people, you can generally get them to do what you want."
On Monday, Fox News' Bill Melugin brought us the story of the Trump administration's plan to offer illegal aliens a deal - a free plane ticket and a $1,000 check to leave the United States voluntarily.
It might work. Mr. Melugin's post continues:
DHS tells @FoxNews this will save American taxpayers 70%, as it currently costs DHS, on average, over $17,000 to arrest, detain, and deport someone from the U.S., while paying

As President Donald Trump dismantles the deep state, angry Democrats desperately defend their Jan.6, 2021 Capitol riot narrative but beam with pride that they locked up so many Americans.
Mike Romano, a former federal prosecutor at the Department of Justice (DOJ) Public Integrity Section, testified last week at a hearing rehashing Jan. 6, saying he is “proud” of the prosecutions he handled, that imprisoned people present at the Capitol.“Thanks to the work of our team, the Justice Department charged more than 1,500 people with crimes and obtained criminal convictions against almost 1,300 people,” Romano said. “We ensured that the rioters would face accountability, no matter how short-lived.

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) is withholding support for President Donald Trump’s nominee for U.S. Attorney for D.C., a move that could result in MAGA villain Judge Jeb Boasberg choosing who would fill the role — potentially even former Special Counsel Jack Smith. Trump, who announced in December 2024 that Ed Martin would serve as Chief of Staff at the Office of Management and Budget, installed Martin as interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia on January 20, 2025, later formally nominating him to take over long-term.

ATLANTA — The billionaire heir and the former bartender. Many Democrats have been in and out of the spotlight as the party looks for effective counters to President Donald Trump and his second administration. But two disparate figures, Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, have seen their national profiles rise by delivering messages that excite a demoralized and fractured party. The governor, a 60-year-old heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune, and the congresswoman, the 35-year-old with working-class roots, both won their first elections in 2018. Both have urged mass resistance and accused their party of

Dozens of glamorous bikini-wearing women were frantically rescued from a sinking Lamborghini yacht off the coast of Miami Beach.
On Saturday afternoon, about 30 women jammed onto the luxurious vessel - made for just five passengers - for a boozy day in the sun during Formula One weekend.
They flaunted their ritzy excursion online - posting videos of themselves popping champagne and dancing as they laid out on the boat.
But chaos erupted when the $4.5million yacht started rapidly tipping over and sinking, quickly turning the flashy outing into a dire situation.
Footage from the yacht, shared by passenger Lauren Nicole, showed orange life vests being passed around as the women

In a development that should send chills down the spine of every American who cares about the rule of law, Judge James Boasberg — you remember this guy, right? — has somehow ended up with case after case involving President Donald Trump's second term.
The D.C. swamp's judicial machine continues its relentless assault on our duly elected president, with Boasberg emerging as its not-so-secret weapon. The so-called "random" assignment system has produced results that defy probability and reek of deliberate manipulation.
The good news is that House Republicans are fighting back.
Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Darrell Issa (R-Calif), and Chip Roy (R-Texas) are demanding answers from Angela Caesar,

Ready for an update on the Epstein file release from the “most transparent” administration ever? Yeah, well that “Phase 2”, or anything that’s actually worth a da*n isn’t coming—or as Karoline Leavitt said when questioned about progress on that front during a White House press conference: there’s “no specific” timeline, but Pam Bondi the “bulldog” and the DOJ are working “diligently” to see justice served. The DOJ holdovers that somehow didn’t have a problem “serving” at the direction of Merrick Garland and Joe Biden?
The “bulldog” who never went after Epstein in any capacity while she was attorney general for the state of Florida
