America is raising feral children

We were posted at the front of a large public high school auditorium in the Land of the Free in 2015. Both of us were responsible for maintaining some semblance of order as 150 to 200 students socialized, did homework, and ate lunch. I can’t tell you what my partner saw, but I saw girls sitting on their boyfriends’ laps. I noticed a student climbing over chairs to get from A to B. Some students were throwing things. We discouraged all this, of course, but the scene reminded me of Wild West cattle drives I’d seen on TV.

For individuals old enough to remember the counterculture of the 1960s that was so anti-authoritarian, such behavior is not surprising. That was a time when traditional values were disregarded, including religion; today’s society is reaping what was sown so it is quite likely a vast number of adults and children today have no knowledge of our Lord, or Scripture, or the remarkable men and women of Scripture. Today’s youngsters seem to be “seeking” pleasures to satisfy “something” elusive within themselves, a restlessness--thus, alcohol, drugs, sex, sexual perversions, live-in relationships rather than lifetime commitments of marriage, disregard for human life from cradle to grave as examples of seeking but not finding that “missing” something in their lives. Add to that leftist ideology (devoid of religious values) indoctrination through the education system at all levels provides another layer of emptiness, restlessness, compassionlessness. The reality is their “incompleteness” is the lack of God in their lives; the contentment, the inner peace, the anchor of knowing God’s love through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Aside from the counterculture movement itself, it may be appropriate to consider the irresponsibility of public schools abandoning a dress code that existed until around the 1960s, dress codes that conveyed a subtle “sense of authority” versus the casual attire that made it difficult to distinguish teacher from student, therein no indication of any “sense of authority” on behalf of the teacher that may have resulted in no respect for a teacher or a teacher’s authority. Until the 1960s, men wore suits, shirts, neckties or sports jackets, shirts, neckties and normal shoes (no sports shoes). Women wore business suits, dresses, or skirts and blouses/sweaters and normal shoes; no slacks, pants suits or sports shoes. Unfortunately, the children of the counterculture movement quite likely were not raised with any mainline religious instruction, or their children’s children, and the result is what is being seen today. It seems the “rule of law” that was rejected by the 1960s counterculture “flower children” exists today. Permissiveness run amok. Apostasy. Fortunately, not all of those who grew up during the counterculture movement abandoned traditional values. The wisdom of Scripture: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

The article is short on specifics but what he does cite we were doing in the early 70's. I had girls on my lap (once or twice). I climbed over everything because it was so easy. I often threw (harmless) things to devil my friends. My behavior toward adults was always respectful or at least civil. He's just describing kids being kids with their endless energy and brand new hormones. We have bigger things to worry about.

A certain subset of the country has allowed their culture to be hijacked by the lust of the flesh. Unfortunately, many other people are affected by this toxic brew that has permeated throughout the country. The Bible warns us of the lust of the flesh and the pride of life because it will destroy all that is good in people. We are seeing the fruits of this today and frankly, it is frightening to see the complete lack of decency that is on display. Until people are willing to confront this complete lack of moral responsibility, it will continue at a breakneck pace. These acts of depravity we are witnessing today must be widely condemned. We must stop making excuses for what is nothing more than a total breakdown of morality. Parents, the biggest gift you can give your children is to teach them to love and respect God, our ultimate moral authority.

The behavior of that certian demographic subset is why 10% of teachers quit after the first year, and 40% quit by 5 years of teaching.

That’s a great rundown, #3. But one of the main reasons is single mother homes and absent fathers. Some of these kids have no idea who their fathers even are.

The Uniparty is determined to severely undermine President Trump’s efforts to rebalance trade agreements worldwide and bring back millions of jobs from overseas. As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the implementation of a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, effective April 5, 2025. The worst offenders will be hit with even tougher measures on April 9. Speaking from the White House Rose Garden, President Trump proclaimed April 2 as “Liberation Day,” marking a new era of economic independence. He emphasized that this measure is essential to protect American jobs and revitalize domestic manufacturing.

An old saw says that whatever is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander. Of course, in D.C., that has never been true. If you are in the seat of power, you are untouchable. This explains the revulsion that middle earth (flyover country) has for Mordor on the Hudson. “Why can they get away with things we would go to jail for?” One of those things is getting rich in a job that shouldn’t generate that kind of wealth. Perhaps the difference between ordinary citizen geese and politician ganders is best exemplified by the not-inconsiderable fear ordinary citizens experience

Let’s revisit the tumultuous second half of 2021. Dementia-addled President Joe Biden executed a disastrous retreat from Afghanistan in August that resulted in the killing of thirteen servicemembers. Having spectacularly failed America’s warfighters, he transitioned quickly to the ongoing “fight against COVID.” No cost was too great or burden too onerous in the federal government’s war against microscopic organisms. Billions were funneled to pharmaceutical companies (aka Democrat Party donors) to pay for witch doctors’ experimental elixirs. Billions more were funneled to “news” platforms and “non-governmental” organizations (all on the USAID dole) to push the White House’s preferred COVID narratives and censor dissent.

Obama, Hillary and possibly several others knowingly provided similar game-changing technology to several of our enemies in bad judgment that amounts to treason.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), headed by Elon Musk, has been a godsend. Prior to Trump taking office and the subsequent founding of DOGE, too many Americans were slumbering happily away, not knowing that their government was misusing their tax dollars for culturally insane and politically problematic purposes, and giving them the shaft. This is the Crime of the Century. The corruption and graft run both wide and deep. Poor retired General Mark Milley. In Mark Milley: pardons and mutiny and in General Milley may face consequences after all, I noted Milley appears to have violated multiple articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). One—mutiny—carries the death penalty. Fortunately for Milley, Joe Biden’s handlers gave him a preemptive pardon, so no Leavenworth or death. But for someone like Milley, there may be a worse fate. Anyone paying attention knows that the student loan situation in the U.S. over the last few decades is out of control. Some 46.2 million students have taken out loans, currently averaging $38,000, which most of these borrowers will find difficult to pay back. Loans are necessary for many people because college tuition continues to escalate. Most of our kids can't read. And it's a big problem. This year's "Nation's Report Card" showed something alarming: 69% of our 4th graders cannot read proficiently; for 8th graders, that number rises to 70%. That's not just a school problem. It's a future problem—for our kids, economy, and public safety. National surveys show that parents have been in the dark about this crisis and didn’t know how much they didn’t know. In Texas, one group is seeing the same issues up close. According to state test scores in Fort Worth, with more than 170,000 students, only 43% are reading at grade level.
