As we told you earlier Saturday, an abortion fan was arguing with a pro-life advocate who was reporting for advocacy group Live Action when the woman suddenly launched a barrage of surprise punches—right to the face—stunning the 23-year-old journalist and leaving her bloodied. The victim, Savannah Craven Antao, said she’s been getting flashbacks from the attack, which she deemed emblematic of the entire pro-choice movement. Warning: Violent imagery. (X Video) Now the attacker has identified herself on social media as Bronx resident Brianna Rivers, and she gave an “apology” that made it sound like she wasn’t sorry in the slightest.

On Christmas Eve 2020 I had what my doctors, after looking at the MRI, called "an infarction of the left basal ganglion," doctor talk for a stroke. Since then I've been on blood thinner, changing my blood, in winespeak, from a full-bodied red to a pale rosé. Now I have to avoid hitting my head, either in a fall or against some militant jerk's fist. Now when I'm out, I'm aware that one solid punch could kill me. So if anyone tries the knock out game on me, if I see him in time, I'm going to shoot him before letting his punch land on me.

President Donald Trump on Monday said that “virtually every country wants to negotiate” as his sweeping worldwide reciprocal tariffs are set to take effect Wednesday. While talking with reporters alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump detailed the dynamic that has unfolded since last Wednesday, or as he calls it “Liberation Day,” when he announced the tariff overhaul. (X Video) “I will say this, virtually every country wants to negotiate. If I didn’t do what I did over the last couple of weeks, you wouldn’t have anybody who wants to negotiate,” he said. “We would have gone to these countries, ‘You want to talk?’

The Trump administration will be allowed to resume deporting suspected Venezuelan gangbangers under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act after the Supreme Court on Monday lifted a lower court order that blocked the deportations. In a 5-4 decision, the high court ruled that the Trump administration was “likely to succeed on the merits” in a lawsuit filed in a Washington, DC district court challenging the removal of five Venezuelan men under the centuries-old law. “The detainees are confined in Texas, so venue is improper in the District of Columbia,” read the conservative majority opinion.

One of the things that frightens parents—and leads them to avoid vaccines that have protected against potentially deadly or life-changing diseases such as measles or polio—is the alleged connection between autism and some of the vaccinations. Parents know that autism diagnoses have skyrocketed over the past few years, and, given how today’s little children are vaccine pincushions, they’re rightly worried. However, I’d like to suggest some alternative reasons for the increased number of diagnoses. My ideas are not based on studies or a medical degree (I don’t have one) but on a little bit of common sense.
