It had been 18 months since he had migrated to the US to begin a new life but he had told her that he was now being deported back to Caracas, Venezuela's capital, for being in the US illegally. They had spoken that morning, just before he was due to depart.
"I thought it was a good sign that he was being deported [to Caracas]," Myrelis Casique López recalled. She had missed her son deeply since he left home.
But he never arrived. And while watching a television

Well, how did your son answer the question when the customs official checked his visa and passport and asked the nature of his visit?

FTA———“He doesn't belong to any criminal gang, either in the US or in Venezuela… he's not a criminal," Ms Casique said. ”
Sorry madam! He is a criminal for entering illegally into the country.

Listen very, very carefully, Mrs. Lopez: do you hear that faint sound in the distance? That’s the United States serenading your son… with the world’s smallest violin.
Boo-freakin-hoo.

You're welcome! This time keep him there. How many gang bangers tell their mothers that they are gang bangers?

Psssst....The Venezuelan Dictator REFUSED to allow any of their citizens, including her son to be returned. Does he have any Tattoos? Did she not notice them or what they say? "Proof" of gang ties/involvement is instantaneous for those tatt'd up with gang names, slogans, etc...regardless of what "Mami" sez.

I'm kind of curious. Did Mrs. Lopez just call BBC and they came to her home, take her picture and tell her story about how her son is not a terrorist? Can anyone call BBC and they'll come to your home if you have a sob story, true or not, about some perceived injustice ?

What is the BBC trying to do? Turn our country into the UK with the attendant social pathologies? Are we supposed to become a failed state as Britain is soon to be because it makes us seem open-minded and more like Europe? No thanks.

Apparently, some didn't bother to read the article. The fourth paragraph says her son is in the terrorist prison in El Salvador.
FTA: ".....while watching a television news report on Sunday, Ms Casique was shocked to see her son, not in the US or Venezuela but 1,430 miles (2,300km) away in El Salvador [in the Terrorism Confinement Center]."

How many mother have we seen on the news crying that their son, who had just committed some horrendous crime, could not possibly be guilty; that he was a good boy who would never hurt anyone. Then there was the predictable photos of him at church, as a clean cut young kid in school, and happy family photos. They all ignore the murderous thug the person has become and focus on the hopeful youth that he was.

Oh look, a BBC "human interest" story about a vicious murderous illegal alien thug being sent home.
I am so upset he is no longer here killing, raping, and robbing Americans. He has rights, too, ya know!

Mom says he is just a little bit criminal because all he did was break into the USA. Well, that is good enough for me. Where do I go to get one of those signs and march for this poor ' boy? ' Oh, he isn't here, he is in that super prison for illegal aliens who ICE managed to find in spite of every rat everywhere? Nevermind.

This reminds me of when my older brother was taken out of public school by our parents, and put into a boys’ only private prep school. He was in 7th grade and started being friends with other boys with different guidance, our MIT-engineer Dad said. Brother was also upset when he had to take intro Latin for a few weeks that summer to be accepted into the next grade in his new school.
Is this the age for boys when they might start to choose wrong friends?

The BBC thinks these kinds of stories will produce push back on Trump, but they don't realize we love seeing these deportations even for so called non criminals.
