A married couple in Orange County, CA, were deported this week to Colombia after living in the U.S. illegally for 35 years. After breaking into our country, Nelson Gonzalez, 59, and Gladys Gonzalez, 55, spent years trying to legalize their status. According to KTLA 5, a spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement explained that the couple had “exhausted all legal options to remain in the U.S. between March 2000 and August 2021.” But they still didn’t return home. The couple has three daughters, aged 23 to 33, who were born in the U.S., which makes them legal citizens. KTLA 5 says, “They were devastated when they learned their parents had been

Sorry, but I don't consider their daughters legal residents. That would be like allowing a bank robber. On the run forun years being allowed to pass their illegal gains to their children. Not done.

If they had self deported, they could have used chain migration laws to come back into the US because they have adult children who are American citizens. Dumb move on their part.

Illegal aliens deported. I don't care how long they got away with it. Still illegal. And their children should NOT be considered to be Americans.

With the house and senate in GOP hands maybe now is the time to put a stop to the illegal immigration/amnesty threat once and for all. The law would state that if you come here illegally, overstay your visa, and possibly other offenses, you've committed a felony and can never apply for citizenship, can't use children born while here as anchor babies and that you and your offspring neve get a chance for citizenship. We've wasted decades making accommodations for those who start their lives here by breaking our laws,

How can one try to legalize their status for 35 years? In that amount of time, they could have applied for citizenship, and taken the citizenship test a dozen times, but they chose not to.

With the supposed number of years unlawful residency that this illegal alien couple is said to have had in the USA, you would think that one of the many leftist and progressive Democrat immigration lawyers who the Biden crew hired to defend illegal aliens would have filed applications for suspension of deportation in behalf of these two illegal aliens?

I know, personally, families that have been living illegally in this country for years and have adult children born here. My wife, a legally naturalized citizen, is friends with them. I afraid there’s going to be traumatic times coming. I still stand with Trump regardless. It will be painful, for sure.

The Nation’s justice correspondent Elie Mystal argued on “Morning Joe” Monday that all U.S. voter registration laws should be eliminated. Mystal argued that any American should only have to meet eligibility requirements, such as age, in order to cast a ballot during elections, suggesting that voter registration has a racist and anti-immigrant undertone. He stated that voting rights need to be expanded in order to help more Democrats vote. “We could eliminate all voter registration laws. You see, when Democrats get in charge we try to protect voting rights. We don’t make voting easier. Now I’m all for voter eligibility requirements, we might disagree with what those requirements should be.

President Trump on Monday appointed his former personal attorney Alina Habba to serve as interim US attorney in New Jersey — with Habba vowing to clean up “corruption” in her home state. Habba, 40, became a public figure while repping Trump in a defamation case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll between the president’s terms of office, and has held the senior role as presidential counselor since January. “There is corruption, there is injustice, and there is a heavy amount of crime right in [Senator] Cory Booker’s backyard and right under Governor [Phil] Murphy. And that will stop,” Habba told reporters on the White House driveway.

According to The Hill, President Trump made the offer during a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, amid ongoing efforts to negotiate a ceasefire between the two warring countries. “American ownership of those plants would be the best protection for that infrastructure and support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure,” said National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a joint statement after the call between the two leaders.

The chief irony of Chief Justice John Roberts’ tenure at the Supreme Court is that the man so doggedly devoted to defending the judiciary has done so much to undermine it. In so doing, he has threatened not only the court’s legitimacy but the republic itself. His latest such act wasn’t an abomination of a ruling on the level of Obamacare, the census citizenship question, or DACA; a faulty probe into a devastating leak; or a defense of the indefensible censorship-industrial complex. It was a terse three-line statement that may prove the most consequential — and corrosive — move of them all.
