80,000 pages of previously-unseen files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy were released Tuesday after President Donald Trump made the long-awaited announcement just one day earlier.
"So, people have been waiting for decades for this, and I’ve instructed my people… lots of different people, [director of national intelligence] Tulsi Gabbard, that they must be released tomorrow," Trump said during a visit to the Kennedy Center in Washington.
"You got a lot of reading. I don’t believe we’re going to redact anything. I said, ‘just don’t redact, you can’t redact.'"
As of Tuesday night, over 1,123 unredacted documents – totaling roughly 80,000 pages

Remember when he said, "If they told you what they told me, you wouldn't have released the files either"?
Well tell us what Pompayo told you that captured you last time. Then we'll know what to look for in the 10s of 1000s of documents

As if the identity of the shooters, or those behind them would be in ANY file. But, promises kept, I do acknowledge.

So, do any of the documents confirm JFK's assassination was an inside job? Just wondering.

I'll let the newsies comb through the 80,000 pages for us. The Inflation Reduction Act was bad enough.

And, as all thinking people already knew: nothing to see here folks; move along. It's not PDJT's fault that there was nothing there. LBJ probably had it scrubbed. Or Hoover.

Well this will take a month for the significant news to surface, but it will get out.
I started at the end and saw a letter dated May 1962 from the Sec. of Defense regarding Operation Mongoose in Cuba.
The thing that I found interesting was that it was for eyes only to 7 people. One was "Mr. Kennedy".
If they meant attorney general Robert Kennedy they should have included his name. If they meant JFK, that was disrespectful not to write President Kennedy.

Long overdue. But the delay was never Trump's fault. He just kept insisting they bring it. The "archivists" kept scrubbing and washing and polishing what they found "in the punchbowl" and now they dare pretend that is all of it. Right. I believe everything you tell me. /s

Bottom line: Oswald, called "that silly little communist" by Mrs. Kennedy, did it, and he did it alone. We've known that for about sixty-one years. Gerald Posner's Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK and Vince Bugliosi's Reclaiming History: The Assassination of John F. Kennedy are as close to definitive as anything you'll find. The "grassy knoll" people need to get a life.

I am a republican...and I never liked John Kennedy...but when he was shot...I was furious because ...NO ONE shoots MY President...so some time later...I bought a German Volkswagen camper...piled my kids in the van and took off for Dallas...WE ...my family...went upstairs in the Texas Book Depository and looked out the windows...my kids ran up the grassy knoll...I have pictures of my son standing by a lightpost that would have blocked Oswald's view from the depository....it's since been removed...I'm a shooter...familiar with staging a kill...and I could see how President Kennedy didn't have a chance...there were three shooters...one from behind...one from the grassy knoll...and one from the bridge overpass...it was a triangular shooting...and the shooter from behind...was a CIA agent who confessed on his deathbed...case closed...

#11, do you happen to have any more details on the "shooter from behind...was a CIA agent who confessed on his deathbed"?

As much as I wish I could agree that ALL withheld documents have been released, it is still not so.
Like putting missing pieces into a jigsaw puzzle, these documents in this release will help fill in more of the missing parts, from what I have seen of some of the Mexico City documents things are still quite incomplete.
These releases have been parsed out over the years. The JFK Act left NO QUESTION they were ALL supposed to be released in October of 2017 regardless of who was President who remains the ONLY person who can fully declassify them without redactions under the terms of that LAW.

#13~ Don’t know what to believe at this point in time, however, a man by the name of James E. Files allegedly “confessed” that he was responsible and at the grassy knoll with another individual responsible “from the rear” by the name of Charles Nicoletti. Further, he claimed Lee Harvey Oswald “was not one of” those responsible. A 90-minute video at the link below was available earlier today via the “Sounds likely” subject list. Did not watch the video.
