President Donald Trump gathered with House Republican leaders at the White House on Thursday to relay his tax priorities.
In the meeting, he told House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., and others that he wants to fulfill his campaign promise to stop taxing tips.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt updated reporters as the lengthy meeting was still ongoing, detailing that Trump wants "no tax on seniors, Social Security, no tax on overtime pay." The narrative around this funding has been traced back through several documents and reports.
In 2018, Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, filed a lawsuit against the State Department and USAID, seeking records on funding to Soros’s organizations in Albania.
In the wake of the revelation that $34 million was transferred from taxpayer wallets into the coffers of far-left media outlet Politico, the Trump administration has ordered the General Services Administration (GSA) to terminate all media contracts for which the GSA currently pays. Included in the list of outlets affected are the aforementioned Politico—whose "Pro" product has gotten particular scrutiny—plus Bloomberg and the BBC.

A newly released photo shows the “golden pager” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gifted President Trump in reference to those used in a targeted attack to take out Hezbollah terrorists.
An Israeli official confirmed to The Post the authenticity of the image, which was circulating on X Thursday afternoon.
The image showed a shiny gold-colored pager mounted against wood with a golden plaque underneath reading “To President Donald J. Trump, Our greatest friend and greatest ally. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

On Thursday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said President Donald Trump is not sophisticated enough in terms of the intelligence community to understand what is happening when they comply with his executive orders. Pelosi said, “We are very proud of Hakeem Jeffries, our leader; he has given us guidance on our priorities of what we’re here to fight for, but also how we counter the Trump administration with litigation in the courts, legislation on the floor of the House, as well as communication and mobilization at the grassroots level.

The Senate confirmed Russell Vought to return as head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) after having helmed the agency during the latter half of President Trump’s first term.
All 53 Republicans backed Vought as OMB director, while every Democrat (47) opposed Trump’s nominee.

The NCAA has officially changed its gender eligibility policies to ban all biological males from women's sports one day after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to address the issue.
The governing body of college sports announced on Thursday afternoon its new participation policy for transgender student-athletes.
"A student-athlete assigned male at birth may not compete on a women’s team," the new policy reads.
The new policy still allows biological females to compete on men's teams. The previous policy, which had been in place in 2010, allowed biological males to compete in the women's category after undergoing at least one year of testosterone suppression treatment.
Because of the current president and the current composition of Congress, we may never have a better opportunity to eliminate federal funding for illegal aliens in K–12 government schools.

Sometimes you have to laugh. Earlier this week, Sen. Chuck Schumer threw his toys out of the stroller in a social media post. He wrote: “An unelected shadow government is conducting a hostile takeover of the federal government.”

The Department of State announced on Wednesday that United States government vessels would be allow to travel through the Panama Canal without facing “charge fees.”
