Breaking News: Jimmy Carter dead at 100:
Former US President passes away in his
Georgia home

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100, almost two years after announcing he would spend his final days in hospice care. The Democrat former peanut farmer, who served one term in the White House and dedicated the rest of his life to charity, decided against more medical treatment in February after a string of hospital stays. The Nobel Peace Prize winner lived out his final months in Plains, Georgia. He had beloved wife of 77 years Rosalynn by his side until her passing on November 19, 2023 at the age of 96.

He was a good man in the wrong profession (politics). I think he thought he could make a difference, but not in the swamp that is politics.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Carter was not a fool. Everything he did was with a purpose, and the USA was not his priority. He then tried to hide behind Habitat for Humanity and his "faith." He had a long life and gave no thought to those he harmed.

The military build-up during the early-eighties Reagan years - particularly ships and subs - was authorized by Carter in the late-seventies.

Will his "Funeral week" last longer than McCains? Will Biden drop dead so they can share the rotunda? Carter spent most of his life as a 1 term Ex President. Biden spent most of his life as a "Next President"...ended up with 1 term.

Frankly, I am surprised the man lasted this long and I'm glad he's gone to his Maker; don't know if it will be a rest in peace, but maybe we will get some justice for all his disasters. As a Cuban-born US citizen, I've had a particular aversion toward Carter, even before the Mariel boatlift; I used to spend afternoons as an INS volunteer interviewing the myriads of felons and released psychos arriving by boat. I despised what he did to Iran, and how he always cuddled with the worst of the left all over the world. I've been also a volunteer with Habitat since the 1990s, and no pile of nails or crates of hammers will get me to admire this man, who hid behind his religious work to avoid scrutiny. The one time I heard him talk about a Sunday School lesson, I realized he had no real knowledge of the Bible, he was very confused. I never believed he was just a deceived, but well meaning fool: Jimmy held firm to his misguided views. And I don't think the motives were benign either --- just look at what the Carter Center has done during its existence. And look at the bloodshed he indirectly brought about in the Middle East. God gave him a long and comfortable life; but I hope it's another story on the other side.

So, yes, he was an honest man in the wrong profession. Habitat for Humanity was the best he did. Either than that, he was a total disaster. So now, is he going to continue screwing the country with the funeral very conveniently in the rotunda on January 6?????

I too once thought he was just a nice but rather daft man who lacked the skill set for leadership, much less POTUS. However, as one reads over the years about how he really treated staff, SS, and “the little people” behind the scenes, Carter was not anything like the MSM marketed him.

Somehow I sense he'll still cast a vote in 2026 and 2028. Interestingly, at his Presidential Library, you'll notice a couple year gap which is strange for most Presidents as they seem to have detail on nearly everything throughout their life. Was while he was in the military and someone mentioned there was an issue while he served on a sub.

Never forget that the coward caved to the ayotollahs and refused to support the Shah of Iran. The entire planet has suffered from that stupidity with 45 years of Muslim terrorist attacks. Every one of them lies at Carter’s feet. He was a huge anti-Semite too.

Now Biden can attend Carter’s funeral as one of last official acts. This seems appropriate, the two worst presidents in modern U.S. history, one physically gone and the other mentally gone. Carter owes Biden a lot, his legacy looks so much better in comparison to Biden’s.

While he was probably the worst president until Obozo and Biteme came along, no one can say anything bad about Carter once he left D.C. He really left D.C. He didn't hang around and try to influence the people in Washington like Obozo has done, and he certainly didn't line his pockets like Biteme did selling his position to the highest bidder. He was something that doesn't exist today. A democrat with scruples.

Would Democrats allow FJB, the titular president, one last chance behind the lectern and the dual Telepropmters, mumbling, whispering, and hollering Carter's eulogy? Probably not. He hasn't got long to go himself ... him and his damn aviators. Can't wait to see the last of both. Seventeen years ago, Carter, never a friend of Israel, published a book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid (sic), that contained a punctuational error on its cover. Jimmy Carter, allegedly a Sunday School teacher, didn't give much if any thought to the Abrahamic Covenant in Genesis 12:2-3. Did he choose favoring Islam over his own salvation? That's between him and our Savior. He did a few decent things in his life, but none of them involved politics or foreign policy. In all important matters, he was either a dupe or a malign influence, and we're still paying for his bad statecraft. So long, Jimmy.

I take serious issue with one of the above posts. After Jimmy Carter was booted out of office, he did everything he could to undercut U.S. foreign policy, with the possible exception of the suicidal Iran deal. An anti-Semite to the core. Genesis 12:2-3 came immediately to mind to me as well.

I’ve never understood the idea that it is wrong to speak ill of the dead. If they were destructive then why pretend otherwise? The damage Carter did while appearing to fumble his way through his presidency cost immeasurable human suffering that continues today. For no good reason he blew the lid off the Middle Eastern powder keg with no plan to manage what would inevitably result. He also damaged our military defense to an alarming degree. My husband was a brand new Annapolis grad and officer on a nuclear submarine during Carter’s time as CinC and he and other young and very talented Navy men left the service because of morale-killing policies. Retention was so low that officers on subs had to stand duty every other night while in port and shore assignments for nukes barely existed.

Jimmy Carter motivated me. He once appeared in his cardigan sweater and addressed the nation about the energy crisis. He told us to put on a sweater like his and turn the thermostat down to 66 or something. I immediately turned my thermostat up to as high as I could get it and spent the winter naked as a jay bird. He is responsible for the overthrow of the Shah of Iran which turn that great country into a 3rd world cesspool which has waged war on Israel and the US ever since. Minds are strange things. I have been trying to forget the name of Amy Carter's cat for decades. Guess I should say something nice. Am certain only two women ever saw him nekkie. His wife and Mama.

So many cheap and snide remarks about President Carter. When he ran against Gerald Ford, he pledged to put an end to 'baseline budgeting' by having zero=-based budgeting so governmental agencies would have to justify their budgets rather than keep getting 2-3% automatic raises, but the elites in his own party called the shots against this intrusion on the growth of government and did not support Carter. Carter also supported the policy of "self determination of nations" as opposed to outsiders influencing policy through wars and"nation building"-- but yet again, he did not gain support for these ideas. President Trump now wants rein in spending and corruption in govenment agencies to cut their wasteful budgets and spending for things not related to their missions, and to get the "One World deepstaters OUT" of foregin policy, yet the RINOs oppose him. President Carter was not perfect and many of the things that happened were his responsibility, but he was a better man than the corrupt NoBama/Vegetable/Kamala Lalas of the current regime of Nobama 3.0

His Secret Service detail knew the real man. He treated them like dirt and was rude and short-tempered in private. His habit of carrying his own luggage was just for show, with the bags being empty for the photo op. He was dismissive and talked down to military personnel. He didn't want military aides to wear uniforms. He came to the Oval Office early in the morning as a publicity stunt to appear hardworking but would then take naps. He declared the White House to be "dry" early in his presidency, but reports suggesti that both he and his wife consumed alcohol privately. He was the "least likeable" president the Secret Service had worked with, due to his insincerity and harsh demeanor behind closed doors.

Good point #22. As part of my quest to visit all of the Presidential Libraries I visited the Carter Library earlier this year. I was impressed by how well the curators managed to put lipstick on his dog of an administration. He was able to die happy knowing that the Delaware Doofus has surpassed him as the worst POTUS since the Civil War. With today's event, another one of my quests, to visit all of the Presidential grave sites, just got bumped up from two to three sites needed for completion: Jimmuh, H.W. Bush, and Ford.

Some here have already noted some of his odious legacy and others have simply decided to look the other way. I, however, wish to add to the bill of particulars against the man: Let us not forget that Carter engaged in free-lance diplomacy with North Korea -- diplomacy *NOT* approved by the Clinton administration, but the results of which that administration then permitted to become U.S. policy. Result: North Korea today possesses nuclear weapons that it would not otherwise possess. The man died peacefully at age 100. He deserved a Logan Act violation trial and and a lengthy prison sentence -- and a complete rebuke of his free-lance diplomacy. The final chapters of Carter's odious impact on the globe have yet to be written.

President Biden gave some parting attacks to the press during a public White House event Sunday night. Fox News’ Lucas Tomlinson reported that after signing the Social Security Fairness Act, Biden took a few questions from the crowd which led the president to target President-elect Donald Trump. "Do you still believe he’s a threat to democracy?" a reporter asked."I think what he did was a genuine threat to democracy," Biden responded. (Photo) After responding to the allegation that Trump plans to end birthright citizenship, Biden switched the topic to attacking the reporters. Alex Bruesewitz was invited by Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) to observe President-elect Donald Trump’s Electoral College certification by Congress on January 6. In a press release shared with Breitbart News, Gooden noted that Bruesewitz had been “one of the many innocent Americans” who had been targeted and harassed by the Democrat-run January 6 Select Committee. “Bruesewitz was one of the many innocent Americans wrongly targeted, harassed, and financially drained by the thoroughly discredited January 6th Committee,” Gooden said. “I look forward to having him as my guest.”

This was painful to watch. Joe Biden made a fool out of himself after he signed the Social Security Fairness Act in the East Room on Sunday. “The act repeals provisions that limit the ability of some retirees who also collect pensions from claiming Social Security benefits. Among those impacted are retirees who at one time worked as firefighters, teachers, postal workers, police officers, or in other public sector jobs. A provision that limits the benefits allotted to those workers’ surviving spouses is also eliminated,” ABC News reported.

A powerful winter storm is set to sweep through the nation’s capital, potentially delivering the heaviest snowfall seen since January 2022, or even as far back as 2019. This looming weather event threatens to disrupt Monday’s planned certification of the 2024 presidential election results. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Washington, D.C., effective from 10:00 PM Sunday until 1:00 AM Tuesday, forecasting heavy mixed precipitation and urging residents to avoid travel during this period.

When I spoke to President-elect Donald Trump he said his mass deportation plan was his top priority. He wants to deport everyone who is here illegally. Do you support that plan to deport everyone who is here illegally?” Thune said, “Well I think certainly there are categories, people who have committed crimes. Former Representative Adam Kinzinger (IL) revealed that his transition to a Democrat is nearly complete and recalled the protests at the Capitol in 2021 as if they were worse than a war zone, even revealing he thought he'd have to "shoot as many Americans as bullets as I had in my gun" to protect himself. Kinzinger made the comments in an interview with Forbes that was published on Friday. In it, he describes filming for a documentary called "The Last Republican" as if it were therapy for his incredibly fragile psyche. President Jimmy Carter died on Dec. 29 at the age of 100 in his hometown of Plains, Georgia. We can’t be sure, since his alleged presidency still has 16 days to go. But Biden’s awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to George Soros is likely to stand as his final insult to America. In honoring Soros, Biden said: “Born into a Jewish family in Hungary, George Soros escaped Nazi occupation to build a life of freedom for himself and countless others around the world,” reads the Soros citation. Soros has been a relentless enemy of freedom throughout his adult life. “His inspiring generosity reminds us all of our capacity and our obligation to stand up to the abuse of power and to be guardians of democracy and all people yearning to be

One of America’s most powerful Democrats is denying he deliberately misled the American public when he touted lame-duck President Joe Biden’s mental acuity last year. Senator Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), the outgoing Senate Majority Leader, defended the legacy of Biden, 81, during an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday where he was confronted on past comments praising Biden’s mental capacity. “His mental acuity is great, it’s fine, it’s as good as it’s been over the years,” Schumer said in a February 2024 press conference that NBC played back to him.

When Democrats show you who they are, believe them. (Photo) Joe Biden awarded the Presidential Medals of Freedom to George Soros in a ceremony on Saturday. Soros has made it his life’s mission to bring down the US and Western civilization and let darkness reign for generations to come. So who is George Soros? For those of you who are unfamiliar with Soros and his works. He slipped into the US after World War II. After the war, he was later questioned on ’60 Minutes’ about his ghastly work in Germany during the war collaborating with the Nazis and stealing from Jews on their way to the death camps.

The Biden administration is banning certain natural gas water heaters from the market as part of its climate change agenda, a move critics say will jack up energy costs for low-income and senior households. The move in the final days of the administration will take non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters off the shelves by 2029 in a bid to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which climate change advocates and President Biden say cause global warming. The new rules will require new tankless gas water heaters to use about 13% less energy than today’s least efficient tankless models.

The congressional joint session to count electoral votes on Monday is expected to be much less eventful than the certification four years ago that was interrupted by a violent mob of supporters of then-President Donald Trump who tried to stop the count and overturn the results of an election he lost to Democrat Joe Biden. This time, Trump is returning to office after winning the 2024 election that began with Biden as his party’s nominee and ended with Vice President Kamala Harris atop the ticket. Motorists heading into some of Manhattan’s busiest neighborhoods have begun shelling out a first-in-the-nation $9 congestion toll — a controversial levy critics contend will drive people out of Gotham and devastate the local economy. The scheme officially took effect at midnight on Sunday, meaning drivers entering the city below 60th Street will now have to pay $9 during peak hours — 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends — and $2.25 for off-peak hours. During peak hours, large trucks will pay $21.60, small trucks $14.40 and motorcycles $4.50.

In 2020, President Trump’s re-election campaign appeared poised for success. The economy was thriving, unemployment was low, and consumer confidence was high. However, when COVID-19 hit, it all came crashing down. The pandemic crippled the economy, and the resulting lockdowns, travel restrictions, and other measures presented Democrats with a unique opportunity to undermine Trump’s presidency and seize the election. It’s clear that the political and economic fallout from COVID-19, as well as other restrictions, were central factors in Biden winning that election. Now, with Trump about to take office again, there’s an unsettling sense that we may be on the brink of another engineered crisis

With the full support of President Trump working the members, House Speaker Mike Johnson won the speakership again on the first round of voting with only Republican Thomas Massie voting against Johnson. This was the first test of Republican resistance to President Trump and the DeSantis House coalition, aka the Freedom Caucus, conceded their first defeat. President Trump called Texas opposition member Chip Roy personally, to put pressure on him to stop opposing the MAGA movement. It appears the pressure campaign was successful.
