Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that he was open to discussing a potential preemptive pardon for his wife Hillary Clinton with President Joe Biden.
Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “Do you think it would be wise of President Biden to preemptively pardon any potential targets? What about your wife, Hillary Clinton? She apparently is on Kash Patel’s list.” Clinton said, “They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong. Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016?

If Hillary did not do anything wrong, why the need for a pardon?

Non of those late night movies with titles like "Women Behind Bars" feature any women looking like Hillary. Besides, being the "wife" of an ex pres she would be entitled to SS Protection in prison. Why should SS agents be locked up with her? Let her continue to write books which on one reads and give speeches which no one listened to.

Then if this is true, Why the Frack does she need a pardon?

We need to take a hard look at this idea of preemptive pardons. People would commit very serious crimes if they thought some president would pardon them.

"But if he pardons them that sort of implies they did something wrong when they didn’t."
No, it implies they ARE guilty and need protection since the people who have been protecting them are going to be gone.
Do I really care about "getting" Hillary? Not really. Her time, and BJ's is over. In fact, I can't think of one dem who's time isn't over. If they can build a solid real case against her, that would be great but no manufactured stuff. A solid, clean case would be great, if for nothing else to see her pronounced GUILTY, finally.

So let him issue pardons. Pardons don't mean we have to keep your secrets. Investigate and expose the weasels for the bottom feeders that they are. We deserve to know what they got away with, even if it's scott free.

James Comey gave a press conference in July 2016, the first ten minutes of which he listed all the crimes Hillary had committed. Bill should check youtube.com, I am sure it is still there.

Pardons should only be for existing convictions. The pardons were not meant to be a get out of jail free pass for crimes unknown.

To poster #3's question, why a pardon if she did nothing wrong?
Answer: Because litigation is a huge financial punishment and having to defend herself could cost millions. Lawfare is evil because the process is the punishment and that's true especially where the accused is innocent but can be financially devastated and have one's life turned upside down for, perhaps, years.
Not that she isn't guilty as sin, mind you.

Billy boy, be careful! With the pardon, the HildeBeast no longer has to stay married to you to avoid the two of you being compelled to testify against each other. There's no stature of limitations on murder.
She will have a 'Get Out of Jail Free' card.... but you won't.

That's nothing but "posteriori knowledge" of her guilt.
Bill Clinton is an Officer of the Court, and he has an obligation to bring matters of a criminal nature occurring in his proximity to the court Hildabeast has committed treason, yet Bubba, once again, hides behind a woman's skirt.

I just read a US Sup Ct case which says acceptance of a presidential pardon means confirmation of guilt.
Funny how Bentus Dixus failed to mention the Steele dossier and the folding of it into the FBI to create an investigation.

Too bad that he wasn’t asked about a pardon for himself. He has too many crimes in his past to list, among them murder, rape, assault, running drugs, taking bribes, lying under oath, selling out the country…

I could have sworn that just yesterday or the day before there was an article posted either here, or at Free Republic, claiming that Bill was saying that he DID NOT want Biden to consider a pardon for Hillary.
Gee, I wonder what happened overnight that made him change his mind?
I also kind of wonder why it is Bill floating these ideas, and not Hillary herself.

Bill is playing chess. Just by making this statement he's implying she's guilty. She destroyed evidence. She was behind the Russia hoa. Bill wants Hillary in jail or at minimum officially discredited. He can't stand her.
