They tried to steal it. They failed. It was a weird dynamic where this event in Pennsylvania’s Senate race was shocking but also not too surprising given liberal America’s penchant for engaging in election shenanigans when results don’t go their way. Republican Dave McCormick defeated incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), but he refused to concede. Even with no path given how much vote is left and how provisional ballots land, with most being rejected due to not meeting the benchmark requirements for authenticity, McCormick’s lead was viewed by both Republicans and Democrats as insurmountable. Most of the outstanding ballots were in red counties, like Cambria.

Two days after Donald Trump won the election, Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom announced a special legislative session to “safeguard California values and fundamental rights in the face of an incoming Trump administration.” But Newsom could have a fight on his hands with Californians who are clearly tired of Newsom’s and his fellow leftists’ “values.” Almost across the board, California voters rejected leftist ballot initiatives, often by wide margins. “State voters took a hammer to the most progressive propositions,” noted I&I contributor Thomas Buckley. Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President-elect Donald Trump wanted to use the U.S. military against him. Host Jake Tapper said, “President-elect Trump repeatedly called you the enemy from within. You and Speaker Pelosi specifically. And he said this about his enemies from within. Take a listen. On Fox News, Trump said, “I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics, and I think they’re the and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard or if really necessary, by the military

Business is booming at a historic New York City bakery after Whoopi Goldberg claimed it refused to fill her order due to her political views, which the owner has vehemently denied. On ABC’s the View last week, Goldberg accused an unnamed bakery of declining to deliver an order of “Charlotte Russe” desserts for her birthday, but received them anyway after sending someone else to pick them up: (X Video) “My birthday dessert today was one of my mom’s favorites from when she was a kid, she talked about these all the time, they’re called Charlotte Russe. It’s a sponge cake with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

Democratic lawmakers are admitting that they may have missed the mark in the 2024 election and are calling on their colleagues to stop 'preaching down' to Americans. And Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (R-N.Y.) says that her party could learn a thing-or-two from Republicans after their sweeping wins this election cycle that will see the GOP with a trifecta in the House, Senate and White House next year. Asked why Democrats lost, Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) said his party needs to stop 'canceling' people that might disagree with them on something.

It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse. Under her ruthless leadership, her party lost the White House, the House, the Senate and the popular vote. You can’t say that enough. Voters rejected the Dems coast to coast, even in Pelosi’s deepest-blue home city of San Francisco, which saw a 7-point swing to Donald Trump. She’s the only speaker in history to have lost control of the House twice. She’s finished.

Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he did not overstate President-elect Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign. Host Jake Tapper said, “I’m looking at these nominees, Tulsi Gabbard to be director of National Intelligence possibly Kash Patel to be head of the FBI. Gaetz at DOJ, RFK Jr. at HHS and others and obviously he is bringing a group of people to disrupt. I mean, that is what Speaker Johnson said. I’m wondering about how much anybody in Washington is is being introspective at all about why there is this kind of opening for disruptors, if not necessarily these individuals.

Host Kristen Welker said, “I want to ask you now about that report that the House Ethics committee was set to vote on to release into former Congressman Matt Gaetz, of course, President-elect Trump’s pick to be the next attorney general. Speaker Johnson is now saying that the report should not be released. What’s your reaction to what Speaker Johnson is saying?” Jeffries said, “Of course, it should be released. Raiders tight end Brock Bowers joined the NFL’s latest celebration trend on Sunday when he hit the “Trump Dance” after catching a touchdown pass. While Bowers and thousands in the stands and online seemed entertained by the dance, the Raiders public relations team may not be as amused. Bowers gave the Silver & Black in the third quarter of their game against Miami when he caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Gardner Minshew II. After the game, a game the Raiders ended up losing 34-19, Bowers was asked about the dance move. “I’ve seen everyone do it,”

Space has become a critical domain for national security and is now seen as a potential “warfighting domain.” Once considered a benign and cooperative environment, it has evolved into a battleground for global power dynamics. In response, during his first term, President Trump revitalized the National Space Council, inaugurated Space Force, and championed initiatives like the Artemis Accords and NASA’s Lunar ambitions. Additionally, through his relationship with Elon Musk and SpaceX, Trump aims to accelerate the development of U.S. space capabilities, ensuring the nation stays ahead of rivals like Russia and China.

Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees are coming under attack. They all will, I suspect, to the extent that Democrats can come up with something to use against them. Trump’s choice for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, has already been attacked on two fronts, possibly representing vulnerability on his part, or more likely simply the importance of his role. The first line of attack is outrageous. The Associated Press, a reliable shill for the Democratic Party, doesn’t like one of Hegseth’s tattoos. Not the Jerusalem cross, but the Latin phrase “Deus Vult,” which is tattooed on his arm:
