President-elect Donald Trump announced Tuesday he was picking former talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Trump said in a statement that Oz, a cardiologist and Columbia University professor emeritus who unsuccessfully ran for the Senate in Pennsylvania two years ago, would work closely with Health and Human Services Secretary-designate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “to take on the illness industrial complex, and all the horrible chronic diseases left in its wake.”
“Dr. Oz will be a leader in incentivizing Disease Prevention, so we get the best results in the World for every dollar we spend on Healthcare in our Great Country,” added Trump, 78.

Residents of a North Carolina town where Hurricane Helene hit last month have encased a Bible discovered stuck to a post.
North Carolina resident Benjamin Fuller was one of the first to discover the Bible and noted that it was open to the Book of Revelation, chapters 14 and 15.
In a video, Fuller states, “The man who lives here had to be rescued off of the roof by a raft, and they’re just demoing the entire house.”
He adds, “And this Bible was found on a pole open to Revelation.”

There are specific actions the federal government could take to help clean up elections, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Whatley said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily last week.
Host Mike Slater asked Whatley what the feds can do when it comes to election integrity.“Because I know this is a states thing and even a local thing, but what role can the federal government play in cleaning things?” Slater asked.Whatley acknowledged that elections are supposed to be conducted by the states, which determine “time, place and manner of the elections.” However, the federal government, he said, can come in and “say certain things need to happen.”

The diabolical madness that has consumed the Western world in recent years has once again stolen young girls’ dreams.
Fortunately, these particular girls, though criminally betrayed by dishonest adults, care more for truth than for their own earthly glory.
On Friday, the girls volleyball team at Stone Ridge Christian High in Merced, California, cited the Book of Genesis in announcing via news release that it would forfeit Saturday’s playoff game against San Francisco Waldorf, which boasts a male player posing as female.
“At SRC, we believe God’s Word is authoritative and infallible. It is Truth,”

It’s taking over. It’s not just a few teams across the National Football League and college football—professional golfers are doing it. Last Sunday, multiple NFL players were doing the Donald Trump victory dance. Now, golfer Charley Hull and US Men’s National Team members were caught doing it. It’s not just for touchdown celebrations, too. Teams are doing them after sacks. UFC fighters have also partaken in the now-iconic jig: (Video X)

President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday nominated Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick to serve as commerce secretary.Lutnick, 63, has served as the co-chair of Trump's transition team and was a key fundraiser for Trump's 2020 and 2024 campaigns. Billionaire and Trump backer Elon Musk endorsed Lutnick for Treasury secretary.
A source familiar with the selection process said that it's a free for all for Treasury secretary and that there's a mad dash to find someone pro-tariff to lead the Treasury with Lutnick being tapped to lead the Commerce Department.

Pennsylvania's Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro, who has presidential ambitions, finally weighed in on his party's efforts to steal a U.S. Senate seat in the Commonwealth. "I want to be clear: any insinuation that our laws can be ignored or do not matter is irresponsible and does damage to faith in our electoral process. The rule of law matters in this Commonwealth, and as I have always said, it is critical for counties and officials in both parties to respect it with both their rhetoric and their actions," Shapiro released in a statement. "As Governor, I will continue working to protect our democracy and the votes of all eligible Pennsylvanians -

House Speaker Mike Johnson on Tuesday refused to say whether newly elected Congressman Tim “Sarah” McBride is a man or a woman.
Delaware state senator Sarah McBride, a biological male who has since ‘transitioned’ to a woman, became the first transgender elected to the U.S. House of Representatives after winning Delaware’s only House seat.
“Tonight is a testament to Delawareans that here in our state of neighbors, we judge candidates based on their ideas and not their identities,” McBride said earlier this month.

A prominent Democratic strategist left a CNN panel speechless after wildly suggesting the US military could open fire on Americans who try to prevent President-elect Donald Trump’s deportation of illegal migrants.
Julie Roginsky made the claim on CNN’s “NewsNight” late Monday — just hours after Trump confirmed he would utilize “military assets” to help boot illegal migrants from the US after he returns to the White House early next year.
“I promise you with every fiber of my being, because I’ll probably be one of those people, that if anyone comes for these people and tries to drag them out by force, there will be protests,” said Roginsky,

Multiple former and current DOJ and FBI officials are considering hiring lawyers “in anticipation of being criminally investigated” by the incoming Trump administration, three people with knowledge of their deliberations told NBC News.
The preemptive initiative underscores a serious belief that President-elect Donald Trump will make good on his promise to purge the federal government of rogue and corrupt actors within the administrative state.Last week, Trump transition adviser Mark Paoletta warned DOJ career attorneys that subverting, undermining, or sabotaging Trump’s incoming agenda will be cause for termination.
