Barbara Pierce Bush, the daughter of former President George W. Bush and granddaughter of former President George H.W. Bush, spent time over the past weekend in Pennsylvania on the campaign trail for Vice President Kamala Harris as the 2024 election hits the final week before voting.
The scion of the noted Republican family gave PEOPLE magazine a statement to confirm she is working on behalf of the Democratic candidate in the critical swing state.“It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend,” Barbara, 42, told PEOPLE on Tuesday. “I’m hopeful they’ll move our country forward and protect women’s rights.”

Wow, the most disturbing part of this article is learning that she's 42 - I now feel REALLY old. But no suprise at all that she's a Dem. Laura was a wishy-washy abortion supporting RINO and Barbara (the younger) went to Yale so...

Exit of the Bushes all started when Trump bested Jeb back in 2016, and made him look ridiculous. Bush people have had it in for Trump ever since. Is Barbara's twin Jenna still on The Today Show? Has she declared she's a Harris supporter too?

Well, isn't that Special! Ever since Governor Bush lost his chance to be President, the whole Clan has held a Grudge! I don't think Barbara and the head of the Family, George Bush Sr.,would be proud of what has become of his family! Shame on Them

The Bush girl is entrenced in the mainstream media echo chamber. No deivation from the party line allowed or you lose your job.
Oh and by the way, where are the ethics of the profession if a journalist--- "journalist" in the case of the Bush girl--- goes out and actively, publicly campaigns for a candidate?

One of Nixon’s biggest mistake was promoting the career of George Bush. The Bushes are all disloyal.

Are you awake now?
These folks are curled up in a fetal position in the corner with their thumbs in their mouths, praying that the gallows on the Mall are not for them (Clinton, Bush, Holder, Milley, the Kenyan, Pelosi, Schumer, Mitch and his Chinese wife,Omar, Zuckerberg, and the entire Biden family...), Feel free to add your own.

George Bush sr. was forced on President Reagan. The ex-director of the CIA was handpicked by the powers to be, much like Mike Pence was forced on PDT. The Bush family are legacy Deepstate.

So, Barbara drinks the Communist kool aid served on a daily basis from the MSM. I am not impressed. Her father was in the WH and she knows that women's issues are not the only reason one should vote for someone to be the Commander in Chief. Even Kamala's staff say that she won't listen to them when they give her the facts and is lazy. Shame on the Bushes for not supporting our Republic.

I guess to Democrats and leftists abortion is more important than anything else…you know, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, etc.

The only Bush family member that I have any lingering warm feelings for today is the late Barbara Bush, wife of the 41st President (i.e. not this woman, who is her granddaughter). I was a younger man then and she very much seemed like a sharp-witted grandmother. Unfortunately, she married a man who jettisoned the political agenda -- the Reagan Revolution -- that got him to where he was... and after raising federal taxes that deepened a nascent recession, so-called Reagan Democrats abandoned him, for good reason. The only positive thing that can be said for 43 was that he wasn't Algore or John Effing Kerry. But that's hardly an endorsement... I hope the Bush family fades into our political memory, much as the Kennedy family has...

I doubt one single person will vote for Kamala because Bush's daughter is campaigning for her.
I am glad she is with friends and happy while making a damned fool of herself.

So, it's all about abortion(presume that's her reference to protect women's rights) which has become a state by state issue, but will likely be a settled issue by the next election, at least for the overwhelming majority of states.
Most of the states enacting constitutional amendments don't resemble anything close to Roe as most have ZERO restrictions including 3rd trimester.

Even back when I was a big W supporter (shut up), I wondered why he always seemed to be more comfortable with his "enemies" than his "friends." Now we know.
Thanks to Trump, won't get fooled again.

Anyone want to refute the Rino problem within the Republican Party now? Just think, we had a choice between George W. Bush and Al "the Boor" Gore in 2000. Little did many know, myself included, the simp, aka GWB, was just as bad as ManBearPig!!!!!! Really! People need to pay more attention during the primaries. Something we've been sorely remiss on for a long, long time. It's exactly why we've had people like McConnell, McCarthy, Ryan, etc.,...in charge of the Republican Party for so long.

Barbara has 2 children. Jenna has 3 children.
Why aren't they leading the parade with their personal abortion celebrations?
Are their children more equal than other people's children?

Feeling like a chump after defending and supporting him, Cheney, even the Bush twins when the media picked on them. Their public endorsement of Harris is like being stabbed in the front!

I am So disappointed in the Bush family these last few years!
I thought G.W.B. did a decent job as President.
I went through the hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005, and I thought he did a good job.
By the way, the Media refrain of the so-called 'Botched Response' in New Orleans was caused not by Bush or FEMA, but by deliberate blocking by Democrat governor Blanco and Democrat mayor Nagin. Here in Mississippi, where we got the advancing eyewall -the worst part of the storm- the response was Magnificent!
It seems to me that things changed after Trump competed with 'Jeb!' and beat him. The Trump Derangement Syndrome seems to have then engulfed and saturated the whole family.
So disappointing!

Like others have stated here PDJT made the "heir apparent" to the 2016 Republican nomination throne Low Energy JEB look like a weak fool. Such that I feel that if he got the nod the Crooked Hillary Clinton Machine would've steamrolled him. In doing so PDJT made the RINO tendencies of the Bush family come forth for all to see. It still makes me mad now that I wholeheartedly supported Babs's daddy for president in 2000 and 2004. They've become just another political family that just needs to go by the wayside.
