Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is warning voters in the battleground state of North Carolina that they could lose jobs if Republicans weaken a signature Biden administration law that encourages investments in manufacturing and clean energy.
Yellen says that Republican-dominated states like North Carolina are greatly benefiting from tax incentives under the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act and that eliminating them would be a “historic mistake,” according to a draft of a speech she will give Thursday at a community college in Raleigh. The Treasury Department released the remarks ahead of the address.

Harris is going to raise taxes, Yellen is lying as usual, the same way she lied about inflation being "transitory". If these people stay in office the economy will be even worse.

Any more "inflation reduction" by the government and all people but the deep state will be in the poor house. The names applied to bills almost always mean the opposite of what the bill does. Washington lies about everything.

Yea, like Yellen has done anything right for the Citizen's of The United States of America. She's awful and needs to retire. She's been wrong forever.

When she was the Fed head she kept interest rates too low for way too long and now as Treasury Secretary she’s being openly political. I wish she’d retire. She’s done quite enough damage.

Lap dog Yellen once again trying to scare people into believing that "Republicans are bad". That's her way of using her office for politics in violation of the Hatch Act.

Janet Yellen violates the Hatch Act, argues that it doesn't apply to Democrats.

Can someone please help this bumbling old woman find a nice comfy chair where she can watch TV and spend time with her family, play with her pets and get her the heck out of government so she will stop screwing up everything she touches? Thank you.

'Yellen said Treasury data shows that 90,000 North Carolina households claimed more than $100 million in residential clean energy credits and $60 million in energy efficiency credits.“Rolling them back could raise costs for working families at a moment when it’s imperative that we continue to take action to lower prices,” Yellen said.'
The prices are high BECAUSE of the administration, and hundreds of millions are given away to counteract Joe's inflation.

Well if Yellen thinks it is mistake, it must be good for the economy. She is the George Costanza of monetary policy.
