Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that she thinks President Biden should be added to Mount Rushmore during an interview with CBS News aired on Sunday.
"He was in a good place," she said about Biden. "Top of his game. Such a consequential president of the United States. A Mount Rushmore kind of president of the United States."
"You've got Teddy Roosevelt up there -- and he's wonderful. I'm not saying take him down, but you can add Biden," Pelosi said. Pelosi also denied making any calls to force Biden from power: "He knows that I love him very much."

Chelsea Clinton is aspiring to take up an ambassadorship if Kamala Harris claims the presidency come November, sources confided to the New York Post, with the UK seen as the first choice in her diplomatic ambitions.
“Chelsea really wants to be the ambassador to the UK,” said a Clinton source cited by the outlet. “There’s a reason why Bill and Hillary came out in the first five minutes to support Kamala’s presidential bid — they were currying favor.”The source said the Clintons have been “working on this idea for a long time” and would like to see her accepted by The Court of St James’s.

On January 27, 1967, a freak accident during a routine test killed astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee. At the conclusion of the investigation, fellow astronaut Frank Borman testified to Congress that his friends were killed by a “failure of imagination.” As he said, nobody -- including himself -- imagined that a test of the capsule, performed on the ground, could be so catastrophic.
We heard the “failure of imagination” phrase again last week, when acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe testified about the assassination attempt on former President Donld Trump. He said that the Secret Service’s performance on July 13th amounted to

US President Joe Biden is set to meet his national security team on Monday to discuss “developments in the Middle East”, the White House has said, as the US deploys extra fighter jets and warships to the region amid growing fears of an Iranian attack on Israel.
Regional tensions have increased after the assassination last week of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran a day after an Israeli strike in Beirut killed Fuad Shukur, a senior military commander from the Lebanese group Hezbollah. Both groups are backed by Iran, which has sworn revenge.
Biden will also speak to Jordan’s King Abdullah II, the White House said,

An account of the terrors of working for Vice President Kamala Harris during the days she was a U.S. senator has resurfaced.
Terry McAteer, whose son worked briefly for Harris in a long-ago summer internship, wrote an op-ed for The Union in 2019 when Harris was in the midst of her failed campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.
This is not exactly a startling revelation.
In 2021, as Harris’s staff was heading for the exit one after the other, Politico wrote a piece describing the vice president’s office as a hotbed of dysfunction.

Olympic boxing sunk to a new low last week. An Algerian boxer with XY chromosomes – the ordinary definition of “male” – and commensurate male testosterone levels – beat up a woman in front of thousands of cheering spectators.
The woman who was beat up had to quit 46 seconds into the match, apparently with a broken nose. In tears, she said in her native Italian “not fair, not fair” and explained afterward that she’d “never been hit so hard in my life.”
The XY boxer was declared the winner. Yesterday, the XY boxer won again in a decision where all three judges favored the XY boxer in all three rounds

If you've been on social media this past week, there's a good chance you've come across a video that has gone viral showing Kamala Harris answering a question about how she will fix inflation. Trust me when I tell you that it is hilarious.
"What else are you going to do to fix this problem with inflation?" a reporter asks her in the clip.
"Well, let’s start with this," Kamala began. "Uhh.. prices have gone up. And families and individuals are dealing with the realities of — that bread costs more, that gas costs more. And we have to understand what that means. That’s about the cost of living going up,

Furious bikers have turned their back on iconic motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson, accusing its CEO of 'going woke.'
The growing movement - spearheaded by conservative influencer Robby Starbuck - cites CEO Jochen Zeitz's support for hardline policies on trans care for kids, critical race theory, climate change and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
Starbuck, 35, is now demanding the company drop its CEO - and is rallying motorcycle enthusiasts to his cause at the largest bikers' event in the world, the 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.
'Bikers @SturgisRally are going to be spreading the word about this,' Starbuck vowed last week, just days before the 10-day event kicked off.

Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, hired Iranian security agents to plant explosives in three separate rooms of a building where a Hamas leader was staying, The Telegraph has learned.
The original plan was to assassinate Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of the Palestinian terror group, in May when he attended the funeral of Ebrahim Raisi, Iran’s former president.

Less than a year after Judicial Watch reported that the Taliban has established fake nonprofits to steal millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Afghanistan, a new investigation reveals that the terrorist group has also received hundreds of millions in development assistance from Uncle Sam because the State Department fails to properly vet award recipients. At least $239 million have likely filled the coffers of the extremists running the Islamic republic since the 2021 U.S. military withdraw, according to a report published this month by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). The money was disbursed by State Department

The liberal media wants to make Donald Trump’s comments about Kamala Harris’ race a significant point as we enter the final months of the 2024 election. It’s a tacit acknowledgment that the Democratic Party is underwater with groups that usually vote overwhelmingly for them in elections. They need something to jolt the base—and this subject matter could do it. That’s why I’m admittedly nervous: personal attacks on Kamala do nothing but energize liberals. Trump said that Kamala carried herself as Indian before becoming black after her national profile increased at last
