The now-defunct January 6th committee is set to take another gut punch after the emergence of three whistleblowers from the Washington, D.C., National Guard. According to The Daily Mail, which first reported the revelation, the three officers will testify that then-President Donald Trump and then-Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller did approve the deployment of the guard to help secure the Capitol Grounds. At least 16 people have been injured after a truck driver intentionally plowed into the Texas Department of Safety building the day after they denied his license application.
An unknown motorist drove the stolen 18-wheel vehicle into the official building in Brenham, 75 miles northwest of Houston, at around 11.17am following a police chase.
