An attorney for conservative leader and private citizen Leonard Leo revealed that Leo would not be complying with a subpoena issued by the Democrat Senate Judiciary Committee. In a letter addressed to Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, David B. Rivkin, Jr., the attorney for Leo, co-chairman of the Federalist Society, labeled the subpoena as “unlawful and politically motivated.” The letter to Durbin comes in response to a subpoena issued to Leo by Durbin on Thursday.“For the reasons previously set forth, Mr. Leo is not complying with the Democrat Senate Judiciary Committee members’ unlawful and politically motivated subpoena,”

There have been multiple polls in recent months that show Trump leading Joe Biden in the swing states and those polls are making Democrats very nervous, but another new poll has some Democrats much more worried.
This poll has to do with voter identification. Democrats have had a strong advantage on this for years but that has changed.
The split between Americans who identify as Democrat vs. Republican is now almost perfectly even.

Ahead of Iran launching dozens of drones towards Israel, President Joe Biden on Friday made clear the US would help defend its ally.
“We are devoted to the defense of Israel,” he said from the White House. “We will support Israel. We will help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed.”
The US has forces in Iraq and Syria that could potentially intercept drones en route to Israel, depending on the location from which they’re launched. US Navy forces in the Red Sea have previously intercepted long-range missiles launched from the Houthis in Yemen towards Israel.
