Joe Biden sat down for a one-on-one softball interview with Democrat-friendly Univision.
Biden attacked the Second Amendment during his interview and told Univision host Enrique Acevedo that he used to teach law school.
“I used to teach the Second Amendment in law school … From the very beginning, there were limitations. You couldn’t own a cannon!” Biden said.
Of course, the Univision host did not push back on Joe Biden’s lies.

Biden NEVER taught anything at a law school. And yes, before 1934 you COULD buy a cannon - or a machine gun. You could order a Thompson submachine gun direct from the factory - and they MAILED it to you!
Biden is a deluded old moron.

Before 1934 a Thompson could be purchased in a hardware store for somewhere (I forget) around 230$.

Does anyone care that this is the public face of a nuclear power?
Do you think Putin and Xi look at this animated corpse and laugh?
Do you worry that the mullahs and assorted thugs think we are an easy target?
This is pathetic.

Yes, people did buy cannon back in the day. It was not uncommon for a wealthy benefactor of a local militia subsidize the purchase of such weapons.
But a modern, scoped rifle is deadlier than a Napoleon.

Bloody liar. Wrong about whatever he'a not lying about. Some early citizens of this Nation not only owned cannons, but employed their own security forces. The Almighty ought to strike FJB down in the most humiliating way, and send him on to his hot reward. The truth was never in him. Since I can't write the initials, I'll just say, "Stuff-oo."

Really, against the law to own cannons?? There are serious Civil War reenactors who do own their own cannons. When the movie "Gettysburg" was made, many of the soldiers in non-speaking roles were reenactors; those who owned cannons brought them to Gettysburg. The link below is to a video that reviews the movie as well as describing how important the reenactors were to its success. Very interesting and informative.

Actually, YES, Idiot Joe, you very specifically CAN own a cannon. And they were fairly commonly owned in the Civil War era. Only recently have MODERN cannons been restricted.
Anyone can own a Civil War era cannon, even today.
AND.....Joe is a LIAR.....he never taught law anywhere.

Yes, you can buy a cannon. There are several civil war reenactor units that routinely have demonstrations on how an artillery unit operated. Years ago, I attended such a demonstration where they used something less than a half load to fire a projectile across a large piece of land toward a pond some distance away. It was quite impressive.

Biden spins tall tales all the time, so that anytime he talks about any issue you really have to think over what he said and make up your own mind as to if his statement is bogus or not.
Recently in a powder puff interview with a leftist media person, Biden equated the old time Irish immigrants with all the Third World origin illegal aliens who he is allowing into the USA unlawfully by way of his open borders policies. Biden’s statements regarding that issue were completely bogus. All the old time Irish immigrants traveled to the USA on ships and would never have been allowed to board those ship until their identities were known and had in their possession either a US immigrant visa or other documentation allowing them into the USA. Then when their ship arrived in New York, at Ellis Island they had to undergo extensive further processing including medical examinations before they were released by immigration officers into the USA. When it comes to Biden’s illegal aliens who show up at the borderline, many times without any official identity documents in their possession, they pass through very rudimentary processing and are then waved into the USA without the immigration officers or anyone else having a clue as to their correct name or country of their true nationality. So there is no comparison between old time immigration from Europe and what Biden is now allowing by waving unlimited masses of illegal aliens into the USA. What Biden is doing is refusing to effectively enforce the immigration laws passed by Congress and is instead encouraging and inviting an unlimited amount of future mass uncontrolled illegal immigration.

Unfortunately for Joey Baby, if you had the $$$ you could buy the cannon, the powder and balls to go with it. You could buy any arm you needed if you could pay for them. JB you taught Bull Shite, if you taught anything.

Geez. Once upon a time DH and I were into Civil War reenacting and we were in an artillery unit. Yes, we owned a cannon - a 10 pounder Parrott Rifle.

You can own a cannon if you make one. The design is simple and many centuries old. So is the recipe for gunpowder.

You used to be able to, before the Democrats stuck their hand in!
In their eagerness to disarm blacks in Jim Crow, they had all these laws to make it difficult for ordinary people to arm themselves. But back in the Civil War, several teams of private, volunteer cannoneers with their own cannons, turned the tide in battles like Gettysburg.

# 3 - If I remember correctly, within days of Biden taking office, some senate or congressional item was passed taking away Joe's power to use nuclear weapons. He doesn't have that authority. I don't know if they ever said who does. Hopefully no one.

I love guns and have a few. My neighbor who's a Vietnam War veteran retired USMC Seargent Major (E-9) really loves guns. His collection is to die for. He's got weapons from as far back as the Revolutionary War and yes he has a cannon. He also CAN NOT stand FJB and the democrats. He's a good man and a valuable source of knowledge for myself and his 10 grandkids. Biden teaching 2A in law school is like Pelosi teaching government ethics in a place like Harvard.

FTA: 'Joe Biden previously said of the Second Amendment while he announced executive actions on gun control: “No Amendment is absolute.” ' Women, get out there and vote while you still can. And Black Folks! He's gonna put y'all back in chains. That amendment was just a trial balloon. Maybe he's preparing for his 3rd term, too.

I have attended several Civil War reenactments. I got into a chat from one of the guys in an artillery unit. He said they used half charges in the cannons during the reenactment so as to be easier on the ears. One year, after the spectators left, they loaded full charges and set them off together. It shook a nearby pecan tree so bad. and made it drop all its ripe pecans. Loud. During the Battle of Chickamauga, people in my hometown could hear the distant cannon fire some 12-15 miles away. Joe is not only demented but stupid.
