Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Ukraine will lose the war against Russia unless the U.S. provides further military aid.
According to The Kyiv Independent, Zelensky made the remarks on Sunday during a meeting with the Ukrainian fund-raising group UNITED24.
“It’s important to specifically address the Congress: if the Congress doesn’t help Ukraine, Ukraine will lose the war,” Zelensky said. “If Ukraine loses this war, other countries will be attacked. This is a fact."
The warning is one of the starkest since Russia invaded Ukraine over two years ago, as Congress wrangles over the condition of greenlighting further support.

This little, drug-addled, wanna-be dictator has become the Frankenstein monster of the Deep State. I would imagine there are more than a few Republican and Democrat politicians who are sweating bullets over this guy spilling the beans about the Ukrainian corruption pipeline.

Not any kind of an "ultimatum", just s simple, obvious fact. Ukraine is 1/10th the size of Russia, and needs outside suppliers in order for THEIR OWN soldiers to be able to fight back against the Russian invasion.
This isn't any different than when Germany invaded France and then England, and we supplied them with weapons. I am still saddened and surprised how many Americans buy all the Russian disinformation on this and are convinced that Russia isn't the bad guy, or that somehow Ukraine deserves to be enslaved by Russia. No country deserves this. None of the old "Iron Curtain" countries deserved it, not Hungary, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, or any of the others. Russia is a malevolent, conquest driven monster.

I'll support Ukraine when Big Bidet gives back all the money his family looted from Ukraine and there is a full accounting of all other money flows to US politicians and full transparency on the Nuland scams, and a full accounting of why a little gassed up Ukrainian born pimp was sent by the military to impeach our president over a phone call. I'm not interested in paying for or participating in their corruption.

You have to wonder how much of the aid we've sent has gone right into this schill's pocket? How much US military equipment has been resold to Russia, China, the Taluban...
But we better give him more!! Or Russia will win!!
I have one question: What's the "Big Guy's" cut?

They were a lost cause from day 1. Not another cent. What are they going to do, release the information they have on the Biden Crime Family if we don't send more money? That works also.

They are going to lose anyway.
They should be working for a settlement, but they don't want that, Zelenski just wants more money so he can send more Ukrainians to their deaths.

Doesn't matter if we support Ukraine or not. We don't have the money. Inevitably, the situation will solve itself.
A strong economy is required to fund wars. We don't have one. Feel sorry for the innocent people being sucked in and murdered on both sides. This war is the result of corrupt incompetent tyrannical leadership. On all sides. How many people will have to die?

Well by Zelensky saying that Ukraine is going to lose the war with Russia, did he mean now, next month, next year, or sometime in the future? In those respects does Zelensky believe that the USA must give him all the money and war materials to keep the war going indefinitely?
Common sense should tell Zelensky that he and Ukraine should negotiate with Russia to end the war before Ukraine completely loses the war, as sooner or later the history of past corruption in Ukraine involving US establishment politicians is bound to come to light causing the US people to force those politicians to stop sending US taxpayers money to Ukraine which would mean that both Ukraine and Zelensky would crash and burn!

They have basically been in a stalemate for over a year. Just let Russia keep what they took over and let Ukraine keep what they still have. Have them sign a peace agreement and be done with it. Stop spending everyone else's money and lives on a stalemate and prolonging the inevitable. Is this the outcome anyone wanted, no. Is it the outcome we will most likely get, yes.

Hard fact is that the Ukraine has already lost the war. A generation of young men wiped out, an uncountable diaspora, trillions of $ of capital costs to rebuild. The only thing left is the dream of independence, but tied to an arms supplier (us) is not independence. Russia too has lost the war. its young are revolting, its ties to the west are shattering. There is no win here. Only the alternatives of a WWI stalemate or an acceptance of reality on both sides

#3~ “I am still saddened and surprised how many Americans buy all the Russian disinformation on this and are convinced that Russia isn't the bad guy, or that somehow Ukraine deserves to be enslaved by Russia.” / This war has been going on since February 2022 and the truth of what is happening in Ukraine remains elusive so Americans do not know what to believe. It isn’t that Americans “buy” alleged disinformation or that Ukraine deserves to be “enslaved” by Russia, it is justifiable prudence at a time when this country has its own serious problems and uncertain future. According to CNN, as of September 2023, Congress approved about $133 billion in aid to Ukraine; at this time (2024) the United States has a debt level of nearly $34.4 trillion; a depleted strategic oil reserve; reports that indicate every branch of America’s military having recruitment problems; and an alleged depletion of armaments to defend this country that suggests Americans need to be concerned with and cautious about current circumstances of America’s homeland.
