The Vatican has released a document criticizing gender theory, transgender surgery and surrogacy as affronts to human dignity. Dignitas Infinita, Latin for "Infinite Dignity," was released on Monday after more than five years in development by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) and focuses on threats to human dignity in the modern world.
"In the light of Revelation, the Church resolutely reiterates and confirms the ontological dignity of the human person, created in the image and likeness of God and redeemed in Jesus Christ," the document states in its beginning.
Dignitas Infinita addresses over a dozen individual issues of the modern day

This pope has squandered any moral authority that previous popes had with his endless anti-Christian, hard left carping.
Hoping against hope that the next one will be an actual Catholic, not a Communist.

Very once in a while, these statements come out from the Vatican to soothe actual Catholics into believing that all is well with The Church. Shortly thereafter, Francis opens his mouth and inserts his heretical foot.

It's a shame he couldn't just say that God doesn't make mistakes.

I am not a Catholic. Having read this article- the document - it seems wrong to throw spitballs at thenPope. I could find nothing with which to disagree. Have you read it?

PS. I am not a fan of this pope. Just don't agree with using him as an excuse to pay no attention to articles/documents like this one. Pretty much pulls the rug out from under Biden, the transgender- abortion-loving Cafeteria Catholic.

Well thank God they said the right thing. As time goes by, I think more and more people are going to be tempted into using surrogates and as far as I am concerned, that' only slightly different than slavery. Human beings are not to be bought and sold. As for the trans nonsense, there have always been people who feel different. In my day, they were hippies, then came the goths, and the emos. Eventually we all grew up and settled down. At least we still had intact bodies. I can't help but think that if Jazz Jennings had just been left alone, he'd have grown out of his phase. He might have been gay or straight but right now, he is nothing but a human lab experiment.

I truly believe that God, knowing this transgender thing was going to happen, put the Chromosomes in the human body so no one, NO ONE, could ever change their body. I would say the "joke is on them that try" only I doubt that God is laughing!

What does the supposedly extremely devout (bishop) Joe Biden think of this Vatican determination about his transgender flock?

#4 - Thank you for your wise words. This document comes to us from the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF), not from Pope Frank, after many years of research, thought and prayer. It is disingenuous to taint its contents because of Pope Frank's public leanings to the Left.
This document, from the recaps I have read so far, is upholding all previous Catholic teachings in regards to human sexuality and dignity. This is a great moment and milestone. I am celebrating this document, its clear wording and teaching. It will give us the language we need to combat the lunacy we see swirling around us.
Popes come and go. It is the teaching documents, such as "Infinite Dignity" which will guide the Church and humanity for the decades and centuries into the future. I applaud the Vatican for approving "Infinite Dignity" and giving the Pro Life movement these beautiful arguments to support life in all forms from natural conception to death.
Pro Life is Pro Women, Pro men, Pro Children and Pro Family.

The only question is: Is this Ex Cathedra or not?
If not, it means nothing.

#10 - Nice try, but no cigar. Ex Cathedra proclamations are rare. They refer to the binding and infallible teachings regarding Church doctrine on matters of faith and morals. The last Ex Cathedra proclamation was made by Pope Pius XII on November 1, 1950, defining the dogma of the Assumption of Our Lady bodily into Heaven.
The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, and other magisteriums with the Vatican, maintain their own teaching authority vested to them through Canon Law, Vatican Law and Church Tradition. Otherwise the Vatican and the Church could not function relying only on "Ex Cathdra" proclamations for clarity of faith and morals in an ever changing world.
"Dignitas Infinita" has the full moral authority of the Catholic Church behind it.

Biden is starting to lose his defenders in the church leadership.
His actions are even too much for some of the liberal Bishops/Cardinals.
I hope he realizes that he has strayed away from God for political gain before it is too late.
Pray for him. He needs it.

I wouldn't be so quick to celebrate the seemingly catholicity of this document. Francis is first and foremost always a peronist. The devil is in the details. Anthony Stine at Return to Tradition has a video on this.

Unless the Cathedra preaches the opposite.
So, Unless it came from the chair of Peter I stand by my statement. The Anti Pope still speaks OVER the DDF.
Just my opinion, as a lifelonger myself.
