Media Tailspin Continues As Public Trust
In News Outlets Crumbles: I&I/TIPP Poll

Can the U.S. media ever reverse their reputation for dishonesty and bias and end their current tailspin? Given how the public currently views them, the answer is “not likely,” the latest I&I/TIPP Poll suggests. Each month I&I/TIPP Poll asks registered voters from around the country to gauge their trust in the major media that supply them with news, features and other information. Specifically, two questions were asked: “Generally speaking, how much trust do you have in the traditional or established news media (Example: Washington Post, New York Times, NPR, CBS News, etc.) to report the news accurately and fairly?”

Zero trust. The media could save itself by merely reporting and not being biased. Tell the truth.

After seeing the lack of trust in media across the board I wondered where people can go to get honest information. Then it occurred to me that the answer might be to continue to access those same media sources but just believe the opposite of what they are telling us. Oh, and having a huge supply of salt will probably come in handy as well.

Back in the day when there was a 30 minute news program on three stations, there was no clear indication of the "newsman"s" political position. They made every effort to appear neutral and report facts. That is completely gone. They are hired for their political views by someone with a political agenda. There is no attempt to conceal their bias. No news if "fair and balanced" or factual anymore. They all go on diatribes. They all give the facts that support their narrative. Liberal news promotes the government narrative, which no one trusts. For example, no national news agency is in Chris Wray's face wanting to know why the FBI has not released the evidence from Epstein's raids. Nor have they demanded to know hidden details about the barge hitting the bridge. Journalism is dead!

It would help if they didn't hire the most ignorant, biased, anti social bigots in the country and pay them gazillions of dollars for preaching their hate on national media. Many of them are now begging or requiring people to subscribe to their garbage because revenue is drying up as ratings drop through the cellar. There will be a mini-celebration for every Joy, Joe, Mika, Whoopi, Rachel and every other cross-wired defective human being who receives a pink slip when they finally go under.

Another good question: "How much trust do you have in polls?" It takes skill to create and execute a meaningful poll. That skill does not exist in the media. Polls contain bias.

WaPo? NYT? NPR? CBS? (Haha, they left out CNN ,,|, ). interesting list of examples. NPR is State Run Media and reports whatever the Gov't pays them to report. The others are failing dinosaurs of the industry that would be already gone if not for fascist billionaire subsidies. There are other options that be accessed now, although it is sometimes hard to get through the algorithms.

Polls are not meant to measure opinion anymore. They are created and used to SHAPE opinion. Just like the news. It not meant to disseminate information. It is meant to SHAPE public opinion. It is overt propaganda.

In 2019, while campaigning in New Hampshire, Joe Biden promised to “end fossil fuel.” Not only has he failed to keep his promise, oil consumption has reached a new all-time high. For this we should all be thankful. When a climate activist challenged him on that September day about his connections to the co-founder of a liquified natural gas company, Biden, as he has done throughout his career of “public service,” became Joe the Clown. Calling her “kiddo,” he told her to look into his eyes, then said “I guarantee you. We’re going to end fossil fuel.” The ever-fawning-for-Democrats media

Earlier this week we reported on our findings about net domestic migration trends in the U.S. based on voting patterns in the 2020 elections. (See: “The Great Divorce: 3.7 Million Have Fled Counties That Voted For Biden.”) But we realized there was a discrepancy in the numbers. For example, while more than 483,000 people have moved out of Los Angeles County since 2020, the county’s population only declined by 351,000. Over the past three years, more than 88,000 Americans left Harris County, Texas, yet its population actually increased by 104,000. And, while we found that, overall, 3.7 million people moved

A new report tells us that man-made global warming is driving up prices. Please tell us this is parody. It’s far too risible not to be. Oh, but no. We’ve been assured that it’s a serious paper. “Global warming and heat extremes to enhance inflationary pressures,” was published last week in the peer-reviewed journal Communications: Earth and Environment. Axios tells us the study “incorporated more than 27,000 observations of monthly price indices across 121 countries in the developed and developing worlds during the 1996 to 2021 period, along with high-resolution weather observations.” From that,

Not all politicians agree that the surge of illegal entrants across our border threatens American citizens’ right to vote and self-govern without foreign interference. But those elected officials who don’t believe it’s an issue are very much out of tune with U.S. opinion, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. Americans are very concerned and want something to be done about it. The March national online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,419 adult registered voters, taken from Feb. 28 to March 1, asked Americans: “How concerned are you about letting those who are in the U.S. illegally to participate in local and federal elections?” The response was a landslide, with 73% saying

Having secured sufficient delegates to become the first thrice-nominated Republican presidential candidate since Richard Nixon and the only person to bear the GOP standard in three consecutive elections, Donald Trump moves closer to completing the greatest political comeback in American history. A Trump triumph in November would far surpass any previous political rehabilitation, including Nixon’s 1968 victory. Despite the effortless manner in which Trump dispatched his intraparty rivals, the road to a Trump Restoration remains perilous. Not since Napoleon returned from Elba has the global establishment been so focused on the defeat of one man. Luckily for Trump, he is an authority on comebacks.

If you want to know what the country thinks about President Joe Biden’s agenda, look at how they vote. Not at the ballot box. But with their feet. [snip] I&I conducted a detailed analysis of the latest Census data, comparing migration trends and the 2020 election outcomes for all 3,144 counties. What we found is that Biden-voting counties lost a net of 3.7 million people (3,670,516 to be exact) to Trump-voting counties from 2020 through 2023. (That’s up by more than a million since we did this same analysis last year.) In other words, in just the three years

In perfect Democratic Party form, the Biden administration has dropped another government burden on the private sector. Two days ago, the White House rolled out “the toughest-ever” automobile emissions standards. The objective, of course, is to force Americans to buy the cars that the ruling class wants them to drive. There’s a big problem here, though – the grid won’t be up to the task of keeping tens of millions of electric vehicles charged. The headline from a Bloomberg story last week summed up the plan: “Biden Set to Crack Down on Auto Emissions to Accelerate EV Sales.” Rules decreed by the Environmental Protection Agency are

With the evacuation of the U.S. embassy in Haiti last week, President Joe Biden extended his historic lead for fleeing embassies – a dubious distinction once held by Barack Obama. That’s according to the Daily Signal, which dug into the records and found that as the world has slipped into chaos over the past three years, the U.S. has been forced to withdraw from embassy after embassy. “Since Biden took office in January 2021, his State Department has partially or fully evacuated 11 U.S. embassies via what are known as authorized or ordered departure directives,” writes Tony Kinnett. Saturation coverage of President Trump’s legal woes by the media have convinced a plurality of Americans that the four felony charges against the former chief executive are both “warranted” and “based on facts.” But a closer look at the results of March’s I&I/TIPP Poll shows much of that sentiment on this issue comes mainly from one side of the political divide: Democrats. The national online I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from Feb. 28 to March 1, posed the following question to 1,419 registered voters across the nation: “Over the past year, former President Trump has faced four major indictments totaling 91 separate charges of criminal behavior. This projected increase for 2024 comes on the back of a 20 percent hike over the last two years. This has largely been driven by escalating natural disasters, insurers pulling out of certain areas - which cuts down on competition - and higher fees for home repairs.
