Illegals threaten U.S. food supply -report

In blue cities where illegals congregate, much of the long-term focus is on where the housing for 10 or 20 million "newcomers" is going to come from. The problem, though, is much worse than housing. Out in the country, there are worries about where the food supply is going to come from with all this unvetted illegal immigration in the millions. No, it's not just illegals eating all the food. It's that unvetted illegals admitted into the country without inspection are bringing in untold diseases, which are already threatening livestock in border states like Texas. According to the Epoch Times, which consulted a slew of experts:

Comments:

We used to have all sorts of laws to prevent the importation of animal and plant diseases. I remember clearly questions on customs forms just 10 years ago about whether I had visited any farm in England. I believe this is 'hoof and mouth' disease that can be transmitted by dirt on shoes from a barnyard.
And yet, today, all the scum of the earth come in freely from every corner, bringing every possible bacteria, virus and parasite on the planet, with NO EFFORT to stop it.

The mental midget Joe Biden should be put behind bars at the least, and hung by a lamp post at the worst, for the damage he has done to this country. It started in 2008 with Obama and Old Yeller just ramped it up. They both should be up on treason if we had a justice department.

It is standard procedure, especially in the poultry world, that you never wear your "outside" shoes or clothes into the livestock area without protection. I do a whole switcharoo when I get home with a good hand washing too and I have my specific farm muck boots just for on farm. For our animals, all that come onto the farm save day old chicks from a reputable hatchery need to be quarantined, I usually do so for a month with our poultry. We try to stay as antibiotic and chemical free as possible and we already have enough crap floating around out there causing total flock loss without this added epidemiological burden. Man, I hate Joe Biden and the Democrats so much.

The government has abandoned any pretense of caring what is best for the American people, and does only what is best for it. If they deny Trump the White House, it will be time to remove the criminals one way or another.

I just want to say that although I respect the law (out of respect for my fellow citizens and their right to a share in deciding things) and although in any case I know that the flow across the border is cloaking a smaller and very dangerous flow of terrorists, even so, I just want to say that very very many of those coming across are intending to work hard and contribute. This may or may not be a good reason for changing the law, I just only want to say, I know some who have made the trip and they are not filthy, they are not takers, they intend to contribute, they are lovely, and they say the others on their journey were also just struggling suffering people. This does not add up to a policy on the border, but .... let' s tell the whole truth. Most of these people are lovely, ready to work, not hostile, have similar values to the rest of us. Also let us admit how many of us would do the exact same thing. Had I not been born in America I would be on the other side of the wall breaking my heart trying to jump over. Every day I would break my bones and try again.

#10, We have LEGAL immigration for the folks that want to come in and contribute. ILLEGAL immigrants not only prove they don't respect the law by invading, they also slow things down tremendously for the good folks. We don't need more criminals, even if they are willing to break their bones to be criminal.

Donald Trump rode the escalator at Trump Tower (soon to be called Letitia’s Crib or Engoron Tower) in June 2015, promised to build a wall, and make Mexico pay for it. It was the foundation of his successful presidential campaign. In 2015, there were just under 600,000 “Illegal aliens apprehended in the United States” according to Statista. Many of those apprehended were sent back home. Today there are over 300,000 known migrants entering (and almost all staying in) the U.S. each month. President Biden’s and former President Trump’s recent visits to the Texas border left no doubt that the Biden administration’s open border policy has led to an invasion crisis. An estimated 7.2 million illegals have entered the U.S. under his presidency, an amount equal to the population of 36 states. While Biden continues to call for “border security,” Congress has gotten nowhere in the failed attempt to pass a law that would resume the Trump administration’s efforts to build a wall. Similarly, the Biden administration’s repeated promises to secure the border ring hollow despite being touted in the mainstream media echo chamber.

It will do so under new CEO Gil West, whose previous posts include executive roles at Delta Air Lines and the Cruise unit of General Motors. Scherr, who came on board in February 2022 after 30 years at Goldman Sachs, ushered the company through its emergence from bankruptcy. Hertz's EV push began in the previous year, with a splashy move to order 100,000 Tesla Model 3 vehicles.

An EV will likely not exceed five digits on the odometer because the cost to replace the battery in the typical 10-year span of a battery life will exceed the vehicle’s resale value, therefore making it economically impractical. Other authors have all cited valid facts about the impracticality of charging these things on long trips, the stress they will add to a fragile electric grid, the lack of enthusiasm in this country for adding additional reliable energy power plants, etc. None of this has made me want to rush right out and buy an EV, but just for the sake of developing a more complete picture,

Our cultural and political elite now insist that men can become women, and vice versa, and that even children can consent to what they euphemistically call “gender-affirming care.”
