MSNBC host Joy Reid said Wednesday on her show “The ReidOut” that Republicans are against Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs because they “can’t stand black people.”
Discussing the Baltimore bridge collapse, Reid said, “The most idiotic and racist theories had to do with their newest bogeyman, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion DEI. A Republican congressional candidate in Florida tweeted that, ‘DEI did this.’ And a right wing blue check account that’s been boosted by Elon Musk in the past just blew straight past the dog whistling tweeting to its 267,000 followers, ‘Baltimore’s DEI mayor commenting on the collapsed Francis Scott Key bridge, it’s going to get so, so much worse. Prepare accordingly.’

Wrong, they are against DEI because they abhor racism in all its forms and flavors as it promotes mediocracy. Sanity and high standards require meritocracy to achieve excellence in all endeavors.

Joy, You're the one who makes everything about race. Most Republicans don't give a hoot about the amount of melanin in a person's skin.

Can somebody tell me why a supposed "news" organization such as MSNBC allows such racist hatred in its programming? I just don't understand . . . .

Wouldn't it be great if all these alphabet stations do not get their licenses renewed because they CLAIM to deliver the news and do not? How abt they give the truth, the WHOLE truth. Honesty not indoctrination.

Merit.
Any skin color, any sex, ant ethnicity.....with. MERIT.
DEI standards for Didn't Earn It.
Like Joyless - only has that job because of her skin color, because she has no merit.

Even communist countries insist on MERIT and QUALIFICATION for hiring. Nobody wants a surgeon or pilot who is not qualified to do the job working for them. PERIOD. People who INSIST on DEI are not too smart.

She’s too general with that statement. Actually, conservatives cannot stand certain black people like herself, Fanni, Leticia, Kendi, the mansion-loving founders of BLM, and of course, Al Sharpton.

As a side note, DEI is the Latin word for god. There is a bothersome spiritual element to all of this. In spite of the fervor and devotion aimed at it, this too will fail. It's not about equality. it's about control. IMHO, any attempt to control people or force them to act against their will, ethics or common sense, is satanic at its core.

What does this woman do that is worthwhile besides CONSTANTLY claim racism in virtually every breath?
She is like the little boy who cried "wolf" seeking attention, and the media eats it up.
Things were progressing nicely in society until NoBama rekindled all of this division.

No, you wig wearing hypocrite, what we abhor is unfairness and it has NOTHING to do with skin color, religion or socio-economic status. It’s all about behavior and the kind of morals and values a person has. I do not care what color you are but if you expect me to agree to the godless philosophy of the left, DEI, that is not going to ever happen. We are one race, the human race and dividing us like a box of Crayolas is a cheap dishonest trick of individuals who hold beliefs that cannot stand up to scrutiny. Believe it or not most Americans reject your tired and absurd accusation. In fact, you bore us.

as I recall, from remembering all that I learned from my many History courses throughout my academic period that it was the democrats who owned slaves and it was northerners, mostly Republicans, who sought to abolish slavery ... maybe joy reid should attend some History classes in a non-demcommie controlled school district where she could be "educated" on the true facts about the slavery question

Reid achieved her position through DEI so of course she loves it. If you hate white people so much, Joy, why do you wear that ridiculous blonde wig? Out of the hundreds of slaves shipped here from Africa, exactly Zero had blonde hair. The secret is out, Diversity Sucks.

What does it take to have a pure racist, bigot and anti semite like Joyless Reid fired from msnbc. I mean every person has a right to their opinion, but when a person has a tv show and every day she's nothing more than a raving hysterical lunatic with hatred spewing from her lips, it's time for them to go. Who watches this pathetic piece of human trash who is a serial liar. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

Joy Reid is one of the most virulent racists I ever saw, and she's projecting in a 360 degree circle like a revolving sprinkler, and spewing greasy green gobs of hatred against those awful Caucasians (who pay her salary, BTW). If there were any decent human beings at MSNBC, Joy would be out the door on her capacious butt in about five seconds. This is just unacceptable behavior.
