Idiots enact gun laws where only the criminals have guns. Now they're reaping the results. I don't feel sorry for them.

Show me one place, ever, the USA where more gun control laws meant fewer shootings, less crime. Hard facts, more armed citizens and fewer crimes. It's been proven in 40+ states, works 100% of the time.

An M-16 is a popular rifle? I havent even seen one since the military, and that was a long time ago. I believe if I went to my local gun store and asked for one I wouldn't get it, and the guy would make that phone call as soon as I left. Are there no editors anymore?

"Several Washington drivers have expressed concerns about the incidents." The time to be concerned is in the voting booth. You feel good when your candidate wins but remember, you have to live with the whims of idiots for at least the next four years if you choose unwisely. Sadly, in a state like Washington, idiots are going to win nearly every time because most of the big-city population is made up of idiots. Yes and yes, #1. In red states like Pennsylvania where gun laws are "reasonable" the number of random shootings is in the single digits, mostly because criminals know that others around them are employing the right of concealed carry. That does not apply to Philadelphia, which has ceased to be considered part of Pennsylvania and is just another garbage democrat city on the East Coast.

Common sense will tell you that criminals who shoot up the public highways do not obey gun control laws. All those laws do is inconvenience law abiding US citizens who wish to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Re #5, a lot of the "confusion" of AR-15s with M-16s is just from stupid, ignorant (two separate afflictions) writers, but also the INTENT of many of the leaders of t he anti-gun movement is to purposely mix up these terms so that the ignorant public believes that people are buying machine guns over the counter. Half the AR-15s used in TV shows an movies, or more, are full auto weapons - with the INTENT of making people think that every AR-=15 has a full auto selector switch. They WANT the confusion, so even the ones who know the difference, intentionally mix the terms.

Hawaii's highest court ruled Wednesday that Second Amendment rights as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court do not extend to Hawaii citizens, citing the "spirit of Aloha." In the ruling, which was penned by Hawaii Supreme Court Justice Todd Eddins, the court determined that states "retain the authority to require" individuals to hold proper permits before carrying firearms in public. The decision also concluded that the Hawaii Constitution broadly "does not afford a right to carry firearms in public places for self defense," further pointing to the "spirit of Aloha" and even quoting HBO's TV drama "The Wire."

There was never a purer demonstration of how traitorous Democrats are about “defending democracy,” or whatever corny phrase they like to use, than what just happened at the Supreme Court. At the very end of oral arguments in the Colorado case determining whether the state had the right to remove former President Donald Trump’s name from the 2024 ballot, Justice Samuel Alito asked the state’s solicitor general, Shannon Stevenson, what’s going to happen if other states “retaliate” by, say, removing Joe Biden from theirs. Elected officials in at least six states have suggested it as a course of action.

Looking at previous speeches, it seems that all of his “big” speeches have the same image: significantly dilated pupils. Since I don’t actually believe that he is the anti-Christ,
