AUSTIN, Texas — Less than a day after the Supreme Court ruled that federal Border Patrol agents had the legal authority to cut through state-installed razor wire along the border, Texas National Guard soldiers were in Eagle Pass installing more as the fallout between state and federal governments escalated.National Guard soldiers laid out more fencing and concertina wire despite the rain that swept through the region Tuesday, according to video.[Snip] Abbott doubled down Tuesday and said state forces, deployed to the border since 2021 under Operation Lone Star, would continue to remain on-site despite the highest court’s ruling.

At this point, the only thing stopping Civil War 2 in this country will be the election of Donald Trump and conservative Republican majorities in both houses of Congress!!!!!
I know my husband will be ready with his AR-15 and 30-06 to join the citizen militia to defend Texas. One is light and fast, and the other will do some damage!!!!!

There is something wrong when NGOs, elected by nobody, and not answerable to the American people, join three former US presidents no longer answerable to the American people, and arrange to import illegal aliens into the US against the wishes of the citizenry. It appears that those who want to flood the US with imported poverty also want to neuter the representatives of the people in those states. Why would three former presidents actively seek to prevent ELECTED governors from protecting their citizens from the burdens illegal immigration dumps on communities. Americans are fed up with "elites" putting their own interests ahead of those of the American people.

You can safely bet that the US Border Patrol rank and file have no interest in getting crosswise with Texas law enforcement over that barbed wire issue. It is a lot more likely that Biden and his leftist and socialist crew will use Democrat “law fare” to try and put Abbott and his staff in a Federal jail.

Thank you for this very limited stand in one area - it is a firm stand and it is finally been done. Thank you Governor Abbott. The NGOs operating in Eagle Pass, however. Why is nothing ever said about them Governor Abbott? They are paid handsomely to directly facilitate the invading hordes every single day. Why do none of our state officials, Governor or Congressmen ever mention them?

Time to pass a law in Texas outlawing wire cutters.

Texas could always reinstate the 'Blue Laws', banning the sale of Wire Cutters on Sundays! I'm considering moving back to Texas now, at least one state is acting like they care about Our Country and Laws...

I thought that Republicans only "pounce" but now I see that we also "rage." It's nice to be allowed two ways of expressing ourselves. Thanks, Big Media!

Frizzle head said what Texas was doing was ineffective. I guess that is in comparison to what the Feds are doing which is effective?

Put so damned much razor wire out there that they would have to work 24/7 to cut it all.
Go Governor Abbott, you are on the right side of this.
