Napoleon Bonaparte is reputed to have originated the expression, “Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.” It’s to be hoped that, when it comes to the Democrats and their reckoning with Biden’s profoundly diminished brain power, Republicans heed this advice.
In 2020, when Biden ran for office, conservatives warned that (a) he was a deep well of corruption, kind of like an unplumbed cesspool; (b) he was never the brightest bulb in the box, to begin with; (c) he was showing early signs, if not of clinical dementia, but at least of age-related diminished capacity; and (d) that he seemed to be in

Clearly, too many R's like to give corrupt D's cover and a soft landing, so they can maintain their "bipartisan appeal" (just in case the SHTF, you know). What we REALLY need are a few more R'S that know how to, AND WILL, toss in a banana peel or two...

I think so. They have stood aside while the communists imploded the country, and while their own rinos imploded their party. Standing aside is what they do best.

I agree with Andrea, Impeachment at this moment or the 25th Amendment is a terrible mistake. Running against FJB is what is best for America. Not only of the Executive Office but Down-slate as well. Perhaps, it's my wishful thinking but I believe a pubbie controlled House and Senate are in the offing!

Republicans would be best served to let Joe implode during the campaign. Trump is going to hammer him relentlessly about being too incompetent and cowardly to face him in a debate. In a debate, Trump will hammer home points and Joe will react with senile rage and confusion. Look at the press conference fiasco. Joe was "in charge" and the media are sympatico with dems. Yet, Joe was furious and incompetent. It would be a horror show.
If Republicans step in to take action, it is unlikely they would succeed (impeachment requires a 2/3 Senate vote) and it would give dems and media something to fight against. Instead, keep the heat on boil with a unified and constant drumbeat about the incompetent and dangerous senility of Biden and the failures of the dem party. Point out that dems in Congress are propping up an obviously incapable man as President. Dems don't deserve to hold office because of this. Polls already indicate that the public believes this. Fan the flames but leave any corrective action up to the dems. They broke it, they buy it.

I also agree with Andrea but doing the obvious (let the dims destroy themselves) by the Repubs is not a given.

Impeaching Biden gives us Harris, who puts us in even greater danger.

Sorry #7, but I disagree. If Harris steps up to the Oval Office, she'll be just as much controlled by the Obama puppeteer crew as Biden now is. Kamala knows she got the Biden gig because Obie had repeatedly said she would be Biden's best choice for veep. Kamala will be so in over her head that she'll do exactly as Obama orders her to do.

Republicans, democrats; democrats, republicans. Two wings of the same vulture: the psychopathic “elite” tyrant class. Please don’t allow yourselves to entertain the illusion that any of these creatures give a hoot in hell about normal people. They HATE us! They truly, viscerally HATE us!

As long as most republicans continue to receive their lifetime pay, privileges and the many other material benefits that they receive just by holding a seat in Washington, they will do nothing to jeopardize the gig. They have access to corruption such as is not available to those who hold real jobs on the outside. Just because they might hold the majority in the House and in the Senate is no guarantee, ever, that they will do the right thing. Term limits, reduced pay and benefits, jail time for wrongdoing are all improvements we would like to see but they must vote for those restrictions on themselves so it will never happen unless outside force is used to fix the problem.

Republicans should be doing everything they can possibly do to force Joe to campaign, to force debates, to force Press conferences, to force Joe into the open and not allow him to reside in his basement for this campaign.

No. Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski and on and on and on will GLADLY help their friends "across the aisle ". So the question is real stupid one, to anyone paying attention!

Far too many "Republicans" are not Republicans but Uniparty and therefore, they do not want the Dems to implode, so they will work hard to help the Dems....members of the same Uniparty.

Hopefully they do but there are a few who just can't seem to help themselves (Gaetz comes to mind) to shoot from the hip without a plan.
The Dems now need to defend Biden's fitness for office which will be a testament to their judgement.

If all one read were Replies to Lucianne.com articles, one might not know that Trump is a Republican by choice, and the leading candidate for the Republican nomination this year. Despite wishful thinking and the urging of a segment of his supporters, Trump chose not to run as an Independent or establish his own third party. As the GOP front-runner, Trump is the defacto political leader of the GOP, not some Ronna Romney McDaniel temporary staff weenie. Reading between the lines, I think most anti-Republican hatred is directed towards Republicans in Congress, a group that is absolutely essential to Trump's success as our next president, provided the RINO ranks within Congress can be significantly culled.
It is possible that the author was politely, if not subtly, urging Trump to allow his political opponents to self-immolate, rather than fire off mocking, cringe-worthy attacks, like he just did on Haley's husband, who is on military deployment to Africa. Nikki Haley is but a minor speedbump on Trump's way to the nomination, appearing more democrat-like than any of the GOP presidential candidates, who have withdrawn from the race. His comments may not play well in SC, largely a military-friendly state.

The Republican Party is the enabler of totalitarian socialism in order to secure their warmongering money lifeline. The symbiotic relationship is epitomized by the love affair between Mitch McConnell and Up-Chuck Schumer. If Republicans don't care about stolen elections, why should I? Republicans are united in their hatred of President Trump because Trump threatens their cozy little relationship with the Democrats. The US seriously, seriously needs to get rid of the Republican Party.
